Kate softens and offers compassion for Sonny, Lucky goes berserk and Jason feels helpless.
Jason is led to the interrogation room and instead of seeing his lawyer, he finds a crying Elizabeth. "Jake's gone," she tells him. He asks her exactly what happened. She explains everything and apologizes for turning away from their baby. Jason asks her to focus and start from the beginning. Elizabeth wonders who takes a baby in broad daylight…unless someone found out that he was Jason's son? She speculates that she could've been watched until she turned her back. Jason says that they would've been notified by now if he was being held by his enemies. Liz says that she considered telling Mac the truth, but Jake would be in even more danger if everyone learned who his father is. Jason says that no one should know, but he will do whatever it takes to find him. He has tears in his eyes as Liz leans in for a brief hug. Jason presses her to think back and tell him everything she can remember. Liz says that Lulu and Spinelli stopped to see the boys for a moment, and then they saw Sam. She says that there was a family, some teenagers, and in fact, there were people all over!

Amelia and Sam are on the set talking about the kidnapping. Amelia tells Sam that maybe the old saying about being careful what you wish for is true! Sam doesn't want to hear her "crap". Amelia clarifies that she was only trying to make Sam NOT feel guilty for wishing Jake was gone - it's only natural given the circumstances. But that doesn't mean she had anything to do with Jake's disappearance. Then Amelia suggests that Sam take the day off so she can be with Jason. Sam says that if she shows up to see Jason she'd have to admit that she knows he is a father! She makes Amelia promise that no one can ever know that she knows and Amelia says that she'll keep her secret.
Sonny offers Kate a glass of white wine. She tells him that she never thought about him during all the years since she left Benson Hurst, but ever since she walked into his coffee warehouse she is starting to remember things. She says that it's clear that he has always wanted to be part of a loving family and now she understands why he generously invited Carly and Jax to crash his father's day time with his sons. Sonny is flattered by her attention and then changes the subject to her. He asks if she regrets choosing a career instead of having a family. She flinches ever so slightly and then agrees that she put her career first and she rarely regrets it - until days like today. She tells Sonny that his love for his sons is palpable and she may have given up something "truly wonderful." She tells him that dark, dangerous Sonny Corinthos never seemed like a family man to her and look what he's turned into.

Lucky goes to Spinelli and Lulu at Kelly's and demands that they explain everything about their time with Liz and the boys at the park. Lucky asks if Liz seemed emotional or distracted before Jake disappeared. Lulu can't understand why that matters, and Lucky explains that Dr. Winters thinks Liz could have PPD. Lulu says that Liz is tired, but she's certainly not responsible for Jake's disappearance! Lucky says that they have to consider every possibility, that's all. Across the room, Maxi asks Coop what's going on and he tells her that Lucky's son was kidnapped. Maxi is horrified.

As Jax and Carly are gazing into each other's eyes and drinking wine, Michael comes downstairs and wants to watch TV for a little while. They reluctantly make room for him between then and turn on the TV. They hear a news bulletin about Jake's disappearance and Carly quickly snaps off the TV and takes Michael in her arms. After Michael goes to bed she lays into Jax about Jerry. She thinks that he had something to do with the abduction! She tells him that his brother is capable of anything and since she helped him to go free, she is going to freak out every time something goes wrong. Jax sits on the sofa with his head in his hands. Carly calms down and sits with him. Then Jax asks if they can just check on the boys and go to bed. She kisses him and agrees.

As Sonny is explaining to Kate how it was that he became a father, Spinelli busts in and tells him that Stone Cold needs him. He rambles about what happened to the innocent one, and Sonny insists that he speak English! Then he turns to Kate and asks if he can have some privacy. Kate hopes the little boy is found and then leaves. Spinelli tells Sonny that he needs to know something, and Sonny says that he knows that Jason is the boy's father. He agrees to go see Jason so that he doesn't try to bust out and tells Spinelli to justify Jason's faith in him and get busy helping to find the baby.

Mac and Lainey go into the interrogation room and ask Jason what he's doing there with Liz. Jason argues with Mac for wanting to ask Liz more questions and then Liz asks Lainey what's with all the questions? Lainey gently explains that Liz has just had a baby and could be suffering from Post Partum Depression. Liz becomes angry and declares that they are wasting time! Lucky comes in and defends Mac and Lainey's position to an irate Elizabeth. Jason shouts to Lucky, "If you can't support Elizabeth, then get the hell out!" Mac says that since Elizabeth was the last to see the baby, this line of questioning is standard procedure. He says that since the baby was snatched so quickly, it doesn't sound like "an impulse grab." He explains that someone they know may have been following her and waiting for the chance to strike.

Maxi calls Logan over to Kelly's so that he can assist Lulu in her hour of need. Before long, Lulu comes in and Logan offers his ear. She vents her frustrations and he hears her out. They end up talking about children who some people feel should've never been born and Logan says that was how he felt. Lulu says that she can relate because she used to feel that way too. Logan says that at least Luke shows up now and then, his "old man" never bothered to do that. He says that after his mom got pregnant, his dad bailed completely. Lulu tells him that now she knows why he always seems so hurt and angry.

Sam rushes home and finds Spinelli working away on his computer. He explains that Lulu is with her brother, so he's trying to see what he can find out. Sam says that she already talked the cops and asks if Elizabeth has anything to go on? They talk for a while about what could have happened and then Spinelli goes upstairs. As Sam turns on the news, a delivery comes to the door for her. She signs for the box and then opens it. It's a blue baby sweater! As she takes it out of the bag and holds it to her face, Spinelli looks down at her from the stairs.
Liz and Lucky go home and Liz wants to pack a bag for Cam. She says that he should stay with Audrey until Jake comes home. "IF Jake comes home," Lucky spits. He continues by accusing Liz of being neglectful for leaving his son alone and then stomps out the door.
Amelia tells Wes that they should cancel the diving shoot in case Sam isn't able to show up for work next week. Wes says that would be foolish and that baby could be found by then. Amelia says that they should prepare for Sam never being the same again.

Sonny has gone to the jail to see Jason and is assuring him that they are doing all they can to find his son. Sonny asks him who else knows the truth about the baby. Jason answers that Lulu, Spinelli, Amelia…and Sam know. Jason goes on to say that this kind of situation could break something inside a person. Sonny asks if he thinks that Sam took Jake. Jason says he doesn't want to do this, but tells Sonny to put a tail on Sam…wherever she goes.
