    GH Recap: Rolling Over.

    Tuesday, April 15 2014
Ned warns his mom about Luke, Jordan has an offer for Julian, and Sonny is feeling haunted.

From ELQ, Luke calls Julian at the gallery for an update on their shipment. Tracy peers in at Luke. He gets off the phone and makes excuses. She's annoyed that he's claimed an office without her approval. Tracy says they need boundaries and ELQ is her sanctuary. He wants to prove he's committed to her and the company. She caves and he announces he's going to fetch her painting... so they can replace that photo of Edward on the wall. Once he's gone, Tracy tells her father's portrait that Luke isn't the person he used to be and he really loves her... in his quirky way. Ned pops up. They talk about all the family funerals and how hard all of this is on Monica. When she explains that she's marrying Luke and he's working at ELQ, Ned thinks she's gone crazy. She thinks he should be happy but he thinks Luke is after her money. Ned just can't see any good in 'that man' and is sure she knows Luke will never be a stand up guy. "You can hear grandfather rolling over in his grave," he says, begging her not to make a big mistake.

Carlos gets on the hospital elevator with Michael. He reads AJ's death certificate over his shoulder. Michael wonders why he's so interested. Carlos pays his condolences and wonders if there are any leads in the case. Michael gets to his stop before he can explain much but Carlos gets paranoid.

At home, Sonny smirks to himself about AJ's case remaining unsolved. AJ's ghost appears and begins to taunt him. Sonny tries to ignore him and begins yelping until Duke interrupts. He guesses that the boss is feeling guilty. Duke repeats his pledge of loyalty to him. "Your secret is safe with me," he says as Michael arrives. Duke pays his condolences to Michael and departs. Distraught, Michael tells Sonny that the cops are closing in on the killer. Sonny warns him not to get his hopes up. Michael heads out and AJ's image returns to taunt Sonny some more.

At Kelly's, Shawn hopes that Jordan has come to her senses about her job. She hasn't and wishes he'd be more supportive. TJ strolls in and wonders what they are bickering about. She downplays and heads to work. Once again, TJ wonders why there is so much tension between Shawn and his mom. Shawn insists it's nothing. After TJ leaves for school, Duke drops in with some 'disturbing news'.

Ava shows up at the gallery and rants at her brother for getting him arrested. He was doing his civic duty. She rails until he points out she's been feeding information to Sonny. Ava rejects that so he teases her about Morgan. Jordan arrives. Carlos trails in after her and anxiously demands to talk to Ava. They go into a corner and Carlos recaps his run-in with Michael. She reminds him that the cops have the gun he used. He's sure it's untraceable. Meanwhile, Julian assures Jordan that TJ has nothing to worry about from him. Luke arrives and gets flirty with Jordan. Julian sends her to wrap a painting. When she brings it over, Luke says, "Why don't you bring it home with me to make sure it's well hung?" She turns him down. Once Luke leaves, Julian apologizes to Jordan. She tells him that she knows about his drug operation and can help him.

At the station, Anna tells Dante they have a lead on AJ's killer. They found the guy who sold the murder weapon. The cops go to the interrogation room to question the gun dealer. They give him an offer and then a threat. The dude explains it was part of a large sale and he could recognize the buyer. Anna hands him the mug shot books. He soon finds Carlos' picture and shows it to the cops.

Luke returns to ELQ. Ned is still there with his mom. Luke hopes he is giving them his blessing. "As soon as you sign a pre-nup," Ned says.

Tomorrow’s Port Charles spoilers for General Hospital:

Sonny's off-kilter behavior gets to Olivia.

Patrick and Sabrina learn their baby's gender.

    Anna and Dante question Carlos.

Jordan shows her boss how loyal she is.

Tracie if you can't see that is not Luke...I don't know what to tell you!

Get him AJ....time for Sonny to pay for a change.

Ok, did anybody else notice that the date on A.J.'s death certificate stated that he died on March 31, 2014? It is now April 15th, and he still has not had a funeral. What a terrible way to disrepect the memory of A.J. GRRRRR.

Sonny is beginning to crack under the pressure of his quilt.

Tracy, wake up. This man is not who he claims to be! You are in danger...grave danger.

I don't understand the stle of the clothes that Ava wears. Does she pick them out herself, or are they chosen for her? They are not exactly the kind of clothes one would expect somebody who once lived in NY to wear, especially for one who runs an art gallery. I am at a loss....not exactly high couture!

Anybody see the commercial for the Soaps in Depth???? Now, we know. One of the many plots being tossed out there will definitely thicken.

Here's a thought the writers should have AJ and Connie haunt Sonny. They could tell him it was Ava that killed

Unfortunately we can't post photos on this site, but I have been looking at pictures of Zachary Garred who plays Levi (what's with these biblical names?) and he is quite handsome with a short haircut. He has appeared in quite a few TV series. I think the hairstyle is a bit off putting, and yes, he is a Spinelli replacement.

Oh boy Sonny's seeing AJ's ghost I wonder if he'll actually end up in jail or a padded cell in the mental ward either way it doesn't look like he can live with what he's done and it will only get worse especially once he finally figures out AJ was innocent and without Jason around to handle him it could get really bad. Although if Jason had been around he would have kept Sonny in check and he wouldn't have let Ava get into, his head, Jason would have seen right through her and things may not have turned out the way they did. Jason May. Of have had any love for AJ as a brother but he had love for Monica and he adored Michael so for them he would have made sure Sonny kept his promise. Sigh, I miss Jason.

I meant to say Jason May not have had any love

Will Carlos also bring a bargain to the table at PCPD and finally tell them who shot Connie or will Ava finish him off? Sonny is ready to crack and hopefully it will be sooner than later. I think Sabrina's baby will be a boy if not twins. When is Tracy going to get smart really hate seeing her so oblivious to the obvious.

I have no problem if they have to preempt the show for emergencies and commemorations, but I really wish that they would recap the lost minutes. They never, ever, cut into Dr. Oh No's time, and from the way they squeezed the commercials into the first half of the show today, they knew it was going to be preempted. As many people have suggested, they could repeat the show in the late evening for those who work, or who have missed it. A soapy opera night cap before bed would be nice. Why spend money on a show then treat the viewers as if a lost half hour doesn't matter? You would think they would be trying to milk every last penny out of the show. If Dr. Oh No and his cheering squad can get their full hour, so can GH.

GAH! Just when Ned shows up, he turns into George Stephanopoulos! I hope the West Coast saw the show in its entirety, and someone will post the last 25 minutes on You Tube so I can see what I missed later this evening, but the recap helped fill in the gaps.

Good to see “GhostAJ” even with his fake looking blood, but obviously he was a figment of Sonny's imagination, and not an actual ghost, otherwise, he'd have told Sonny that Ava killed Connie to torment him even more. As it is, Sonny's on the verge of losing it, and Duke can see it coming. Against my better judgment, I find myself liking Duke and Sonny working together, although I'm afraid it will eventually cause problems between Duke and Anna.

    Speaking of Anna...

Anna looks sick, and sounds awful. I hope she's just now getting over whatever it was that kept her off the show for a couple of days when she was conspicuous by her absence, instead of just starting to come down with something. If I was that gun dealer, I'd have been more afraid of Anna sneezing on me than anything else.

Gunny's presumed ratting out will probably lead to the arrest of Carrllos. This is big because Carrllos is the only one who knows that Ava shot Connie, and I think he also knows the circumstances surrounding AJ's shooting as well, doesn't he? He'll HAVE to be the one who gives Ava up, because he's the only one who can!

I sense things coming to a climax at AJ's funeral. Here's my prediction:

Nikolas and Spencer will accompany Elizabeth to the service, and they'll tell Sonny about Spencer overhearing Fluke's conversation with “some man” at the non-engagement party, who Sonny would know was Ick. Next, he'll hear Tracy and Ned arguing about Fluke's new position at ELQ, and just as Sonny starts to put the pieces together, and it finally dawns on him that Fluke is Ick's secret backer, immediately after the service Anna shows up, along with NothinJames and Dante, to arrest Sonny for AJ's murder, right in front of Michael and Carly.

She'll also to arrest Ava, not only as an accessory to Sonny's crime, but also for killing Connie, which will blow Sonny's mind even MORE! Frodd would be so excited, he might even blurt out that Ava was the one who shot Oblivia too! Anna could clear the books on several open cases in one fell swoop, exonerating AJ in front of everyone, while implicating Sonny and Ava in the last three major shootings. Heck, if Carrllos gives up the whole enchilada, Anna might even arrest Moron for shooting Max! As it is, she'll probably even have to arrest Duke for obstruction of justice and giving a false statement to the police (namely HER). It looks like it's going to get pretty damn crowded down in the PCPD holding cells. They'll have to let Frau Blücher go just to free up some space.

Handcuffs for EVERYBODY! And somewhere, AJ would be smiling.

We've seen a lot of “ghosts” on this show, some more imaginary than others. We've seen Alan, Georgie, Emily, Anthony, Connie, and now AJ. We've also caught glimpses of Edward and Lila, but they never said anything. Add to that all the “Zombies” that have come back from the dead, and GH is starting to look more like “The Walking Dead” than a hospital soap opera.

Who needs ghosts? I loved Tracy's “scene” with Edward. It was almost as if he was right there. Fluke is smooth, but Tracy smells a rat, even though he's covered himself in expensive cologne. She may be blinded by love, but Ned will talk some sense into her, and make her see what's been right in front of her face since the day Fluke came back from Miscavige – he's NOT the same man! When Ned yanks the blinders off of Tracy's eyes, LOOK OUT! This isn't some lovesick schoolgirl we're talking about, this is Tracy Effing Quartermaine! A pre-nup should be the LEAST of Fluke's worries.

It's always great to see Ned Ashton. He is very possibly my All-Time favorite character on the show, mainly because I related to him early on as a musician, and came to respect the fact that more often than not, he was the smartest man in the room. Ned may have regretted some of his decisions in the past, but I don't recall him ever doing anything uncharacteristically impulsive, or stupid that had lasting, negative consequences. Like Jason, he was always cleaning up other people's messes, but seldom any of his own making. His relationship with Lois was not only a classic, but unique among usually predictable soap romances. Ned and Lois were the most fun couple ever, and they, along with Brooklynn, would be welcome additions should they ever decide to return to Port Charles. It would certainly go along way toward restoring some vitality to the decimated Quartermaine family.

Jordan is up to no good. shocker. Are there NO admirable people left on this show over the age of seven?

GH currently comes off as being cobbled together by a child with building blocks. Careful--he whole thing is collapsing.

Dr. O and Whatsisface, sisters? Brit and "Nathan" or James siblings? No way, I say! TPTB offered no real set up or foreshadowing. So who's to care?

Tracy, dumb and crazy? She used to be wily, sneaky smart, crafty, and snarky--someone you could really get mad at, sink your teeth into--feel SOMETHING; now you can only pity.
And pity does not the play make.

And Spencer? Now how old would he REALLY be? AARGH!

And Luke? Don't even get me started--again. So very unpleasant even to look at now. No semblance of the real character so well-plotted in GH's heyday.

And who to care about--if their s/l make no sense and they are cardboard cut-outs?

GH is now just so frustrating to try to watch--so the interruption--dare I say?--was almost a relief.

I don't even miss GH when I don't see it. Nothing to draw me in.

Boy, do I remember the times--and bemoan--that I held my breath, couldn't miss, and waited for the next day with so much anticipation. Sad!
