I agree with you about the kids, but they sure put Spencer in harms way today with what he overheard.

Loves dog- oops, I meant why would he jeopardize his cover.

Pemi-- Knowing these writers, something will probably happen to Spencer as a result. I guess Emma left before dinner was served. Good for her.

Y is Lulu going to expose the truth without the letter, Y is Elizabeth still holding the letter? Now Lulu is going to come across like a crazed woman, then of course, this will give Dante a reason to stop her "Hysterics" I didn't read any past spoilers, but I did, in the past post a fun prediction that Anthony Z could be Luke merely for his naughty behavior and extreme hatred for Sonny; lets not forget how they manage to give him a few feet of height Lol (just a fun speculation, no spoiler here folks).

    Who is Catherine?

Pemi-- What I find amusing is that for 2 mob bosses, Sonny & Julian travel with no bodyguards. On a deserted island you would think Shawn & Carlos would be close. That much water provides quite a lot of opportunities.

It's hard to understand how they could still be a day behind schedule, but this sure seemed like a Friday cliffhanger to me, especially in comparison to the last episode that DID air on Friday. They're certainly not helping themselves ratings wise by staying perpetually behind like this. Oh, well. It was a very entertaining and eventful show today, no matter when it was originally intended to be shown.

When Frau Blücher shoved Brad over the parapet, I cheered out loud, not because I wanted him dead, or to see if Britt's pet flying monkey could actually fly, but just for the sheer audaciousness of the act itself. That is SO Dr. O! She doesn't mince words, suffer fools, play games, or fool around. I'm glad that Brad is still alive, but I have no doubt that the only reason why is because Nikolas has a house full of guests, and Frau Blücher didn't want to ruin Britt's engagement party. Unfortunately, Elizabeth took care of that.

Even though it took Liz thirty minutes to hand the letter to Nulu, I was glad that TPTB didn't drag this out even further with some untimely interruption, as so many posters seemed to think they would. Still, when it came down to the moment we've all been waiting for, when Nulu finally learns the truth, her performance fell more than a little flat.

It's just my opinion, but I don't think the actress playing Nulu portrays deep emotion very well. Her reaction to learning that Ben was indeed her biological child didn't come across as very genuine. With all that “I just KNEW it” stuff, she seemed like she had just won a bet, instead of someone who just had all of her wildest, and most impossible dreams come true. For someone who has been as disappointed as often as Nulu has recently, I would've expected to see at least a FEW seconds of disbelief, or bewilderment as the truth sank in, but I didn't see even a hint of all the million things and the myriad of emotions that would go through anyone's mind at a time like this. Even stranger, I'm surprised she didn't question the letter at all, or how Liz came to have it. She simply accepted it as fact. Nulu literally acted like someone who had already “read the script” in advance. She hugged Liz like a beauty contest winner hugging the runner up, and seemed to collect herself a little bit, checking herself out in the mirror, looking relatively calm, but the next time we see her, she's in full b!tch mode, screaming at Britt like a madwoman. Great idea, Nulu. Go ahead and scare Ben as your first official act as his mother!

I knew Nikolas was unwittingly making the “Toast of Doom,” as is usually the case when anyone on this show dares to express happiness, but isn't this EXACTLY what many of us saw coming as soon as Nikolas said the words “engagement party?” Making a scene, like Nulu is about to, or the way Robin crashed Patrick and Sabrina's wedding (which was rushed for that express purpose), are tried and true Soap tropes, or clichés, but wouldn't it have been refreshing if Nulu had taken Britt aside, and confronted her with the letter privately? For that matter, Elizabeth could've EASILY waited until after the party, and then gathered Nikolas, Britt, Danny, Dante, and Nulu all in the same room when she revealed the truth. That would've been the mature, civilized, and dare I say ADULT way to handle this situation, but NO! Elizabeth chose to do it in a way that was sure to cause Britt and Nikolas' relationship maximum damage, and would almost assuredly ruin Britt's reputation publicly, and professionally in front of all the guests. Of course, that also means she's sending Nulu to humiliate Nikolas in front of the whole town, which won't help anything, but Nulu doesn't care about any of that, just as long as she gets to take her pound of flesh from Britt.

Unfortunately for Nulu, everybody is just going to think she's finally snapped, and no one in their right mind would hand a baby over to anyone in such an agitated state of mind. Notice that Elizabeth isn't even there to back her new best friend up with the letter. Why not? Because she didn't have the guts to watch Nulu break Nikolas' heart, and ruin his dreams of finally having a happy family of his own, plus she doesn't want Nikolas to realize that SHE'S the one who lit the fuse on this bombshell. This was a preemptive Nuluclear Attack by Elizabeth, a last ditch effort intended to prevent Britt from marrying Nikolas by any means possible, regardless of the collateral damage. Liz's plan is to let Nulu blow everything up while she sits on the sidelines, waiting until the smoke clears. Then she thinks she'll pick up whatever is left of Nikolas, and have him all for herself.

Fortunately, I don't think Nikolas will look at the way Liz went about this as doing him any favors, nor do I believe, as Elizabeth surely does, that this revelation will make Nikolas “drop Britt like a hot potato” and come running back to her. As usual, Elizabeth is in a state of denial over the depth of Nikolas' feelings for Britt, and she is refusing to see the reality of the situation, just like she did when she followed Robin's stupid advice, and told Nikolas she loved him. If you ask me, Nikolas isn't going to be particularly thrilled with Britt, Elizabeth, OR Nulu. He certainly won't be happy about any of this, and I suspect neither will Ben, but at least all the baby secrets from the past year and a half are finally out in the open.

It's about time. Now let the chips fall where they may.
