    GH Recap: Worlds Colliding.

    Monday, March 03 2014
AJ confronts Ava, Silas and Sam sneak around, and Robin continues to say goodbye to her family.

At the hospital, some woman tearfully thanks Dr. Obrecht for helping to save her husband. After the doctor dismisses her in disdain, Victor saunters over to dole out some compliments. He explains he's leaving town with Robin. They talk wistfully of the weather machine and he pulls out a file on Cesar. She can't have it unless she agrees to leave with him. "We had something once," he reminds her. Obrecht turns down his appeals but still wants the file. Victor doesn't approve of her making such a foolish choice... but he loves her and requests a kiss goodbye. They share one and he hands her the file.

Silas is at the clinic to visit his wife. The lady at the desk won't let him in. He's on a 'do not admit' list. Silas begins arguing with her. An alarm goes off and the lady leaves. Sam pops up and she and the doctor sneak around the halls. Security guards appear and try to stop them. Silas and Sam clobber them. He heads to the third floor and finds his wife's room.

At his office, Sonny gives Dante his word that he did not go after AJ, as much as he'd like to. After Dante departs, Michael shows up, looking for his bio dad. He wonders if Sonny knows anything about the attack on AJ. Sonny assures him that he had nothing to do with it and warns him about how dangerous AJ can be. Michael tells him about his father's returning, if vague, memories. This isn't convincing to Sonny.

Anna sits in her office and mulls over what Robin told her. Duke arrives as she blows her nose. She cries and tells him Robin is leaving. She's sure there is more going on than her daughter is letting on. He tries to comfort her until Dante interrupts. Duke takes off and the cops discuss the attempted hit on AJ. Dante leaves when Duke returns. The commissioner questions him about Sonny putting out the hit. This leads to a debate about their 'worlds colliding'. He leaves her crying. Obrecht storms in and declares that she knows what Anna did to Cesar.

When Robin gets home, Patrick and Emma jump up and yell surprise. They give her pink cake, bug spray and some joke store trinkets. Emma hands her a family picture. Robin says she'll never forget them. Patrick fidgets through all the mother-daughter bonding. Emma goes up to her room. Patrick doesn't want his wife to go but he won't stop her. Robin tears up as she talks about how grateful she is for every second they have together. Victor interrupts and announces it's time to go.

AJ shows up at Ava's door. He confronts her for killing Connie. She tries to shut the door on his face. He pushes his way in. They rehash. He yelps that he knows what happened. She thinks he's trying to shift the blame. AJ doesn't buy that and accuses her of protecting herself. Ava sips a martini and claims she can prove he's the killer. She reminds him his prints were on the gun, not hers. He accuses her of getting his prints while he was plastered and passed out. He's sure that Connie messed up her plans for ELQ. When he threatens to go to the cops, she pulls out a gun. He gulps.

Tomorrow’s Port Charles spoilers for General Hospital:

Victor tells Patrick to stay hopeful.

    Soooo over gone already!!!!
AJ you are a stupid drunk. Why did you think you should confront Ava on your own?

I think when Silas/Sam see Nina she is not in a coma maybe amnesia or something and Donna Mills is playing her. I can't figure out what Nathans problem is unless he is related to Nina. Maybe he wants to ruin Silas before it is know she is alright. Why hasn't Sam thought of Stephen? Ava could have met him and got him to impersonate Silas with pharmacist to get the drug to kill Nina. I also wonder about Nagamora? drug overdose. I think the person Nathan called killed the guy.

Poor AJ . He should have told Michael or Anna what he remembers instead of going to Connie. I sure hope someone shows up to save him.

Did Luke get lost on the way over to Sonny's, or did he just stop off for a drink or five somewhere?

I like AJ, even though he's an idiot for confronting Ava before telling anyone else what he remembered, but even so, “It's a lake!” is worthy of the LINE OF THE DAY! If he had been sober the first time he heard Ava's story, he might've realized how ridiculous it was.

    Speaking of good lines...

Sam: “All in a day's work.”

Oh, is that what you call trespassing, breaking and entering, assault, and theft and illegal possession of firearms? Don't get me wrong, I much prefer seeing Action Sam with a gun on her hip instead of a baby, but ever since Sam's been on the case, thanks to her efforts, the police have more evidence than ever against her client, the one witness who might've cleared him is dead, and now she has Slimas committing felonies, and getting Slimas into deeper and deeper trouble with the law. If he's still legally Nina's husband, he could have had Diane petition for a court order allowing him to see her, but I guess that would make too much sense. It's much better for a murder suspect to behave like a criminal when he's trying to prove his innocence.

I liked Victor and Frau Blücher's farewell a lot better than Patrick and Robin's. It was much more realistic, romantic, and mature. Whatever was in that file sure put Dr. O on the warpath, but I can't believe it's the truth about what really happened to Faisy. Robert was pretty confident no one would even be able to uncover the truth, and he's nothing if not competent in his work. Whatever Dr. O thinks she knows, it's probably just Robert's cover story.

You'd think a “one in a million scientist” like Robin would know that the stars are different below the equator in Africa. Of course, it doesn't really matter because she's lying to Emma about that too. Patrick is being far more understanding than I thought he would be. He looks beaten down, like he's tired of fighting with Robin, knowing it won't make any difference. His character development is going to be in stasis now, just like it's been for the last two years. He may as well be as frozen as Jason is, which is a shame since he's about the only romantic leading man “type” left on the show now that Sonny's taken. I guess we're down to Nothin and Frodd in that category, and Frodd's hung up on Carly.

Robin came back with a bang, and now she is literally leaving with a whimper.

I also think Victor could be Britt's father but if so she can't marry Nikolas.

    Hello everyone,
, I love seeing Sam the way we saw her today. I feel like ME, no matter who he's playing (John or Silas), he brings out the "old" edgier Sam that's been missing for a while. I was never a Jasam fan, and thought Sam was borring alongside him, and this was nice to see.

Robin, you're greatful for spending quality time with your family, who you're so willing to leave so that you can protect and save Jason? I have no words for you. I loved this character, but the writers did a nice job destroying her.

Go AJ! Too bad though that you're going to get shot. You should no never to cross Ava and try to confront her about anything! You know she's gonna twist what you say anyway, so that was a big mistake. I give you props though for trying.

Poor Anna. I feel so bad for her.

So, Dr. O and Victor had a past. Big shocker. Not!

    Pretty good show today.

Okay, is Britt a Cassadine that Lisl tried to pawn off as Faison's to trap him? When the baby turned out to be a girl, he lost interest in her, hence the reason she is less than a loving mother to Britt. I still keep thinking they need to give Britt a DNA test as well.

Poor all becomes clear and then he's going to get shot! I hope that if he survives this, he rethinks his need for alcohol, and becomes the man he wanted to be for his son. I really like him this time around, and I think Michael does really well around him and with him...let them have a chance to grow.

    Diana -

Donna Mills is not playing Nina Clay (she's a little too old for that) - Nina is being played by Michelle Stafford (formerly of Y & R)

As far as SPOILER FREE viewers are concerned, AJ hasn't been shot YET!

I sure wish some of you would let us keep it that way.

Good morning all and happy Tuesday....

So Robin is still doing her goodbye tour. What a great storyline for her. Spending her last week just saying goodbye. Gripping stuff! She's a great actress and grew up on this show and this is how they treat her?

So Obrecht & Victor had a thing back in the day. One word: ewwwwww!

AJ isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. Instead of confronting Ava why don't they have him go directly to the cops. Dumb!

enuf, I think you mean forehead and yes he does.

On an unrelated note, I was watching the Oscar Pistorius trial live most of last night. Now THAT'S what I call interesting. It's going to be a fascinating trial in the coming weeks.

    Hi thundering!

    Have a great day everyone.
