Dante questions Kiki’s loyalty to Franco, Obrecht begins whipping the staff into shape, and Sabrina is willing to do anything to keep Elizabeth quiet.
In Michael’s apartment, Dante asks Kiki if Franco has reached out to her. Her phone beeps before she can answer and she tells him Franco wants to meet outside Kelly’s in 10 minutes. Dante texts back he’s on his way and pockets Kiki’s phone. Kiki kisses Michael before he leaves with Dante and then lets Franco out. She’s livid with him but he insists he’s being set up. She believes him but she can’t keep lying to Michael. He considers Ava, but Kiki thinks it is more likely Heather Webber. Franco’s positive it isn’t Heather.
At Wyndemere, Carly hears the kids outside the barn and screams for help. Spencer promises Emma he’ll protect her and goes in. Emma and Cameron follow and find Spencer with Heather cornered against the wall. Heather tells them she was the one yelling because she saw a Chupacabra, an animal that drains the blood of horses and little kids, so they better run. Spencer doesn’t believe her and she says she’s the new stable girl. She and Emma rejoice in girl power. The boys make a move to where Carly is hidden so they can find another weapon for their duel, but Heather leaps up, asking Emma if she’s okay letting these boys decide her fate. Carly makes a big noise and Heather tells them it’s the Chupacabra so they better run. She begs the kids not to tell Nikolas anything and they agree. After they leave, Heather injects Carly with a syringe. Inside Wyndemere, Britt tells Lulu and Nikolas that Obrecht was named chief of staff with the full backing of the chairman of the board. Nikolas is shocked and after a few calls learns the chairman made a unilateral decision. Britt asks Lulu if she can have Dante look into it and Lulu shares they aren’t together after finding out they couldn’t have a baby. Britt feels responsible and Lulu assures Britt it wasn’t her fault. Britt urges Lulu to go back to Dante. After Lulu leaves, Nikolas thanks Britt for encouraging Lulu and they wonder where the kids are.
Obrecht calls someone from the hospital to thank them for their help securing her position. Her first order of business is to whip the lazy staff into shape. She values this opportunity almost as much as what she gave in exchange for it. She was glad to help and looks forward to the fallout. Meanwhile, Sabrina begs Elizabeth to keep her secret just as Patrick and Robin walk up. Elizabeth tells Patrick there is something he needs to know. Robin interrupts that they already know and Sabrina stumbles over an explanation. Robin talks over her that they are referring to Obrecht. Elizabeth is shocked by the news and Patrick wonders what she was going to tell them. Anna calls and Robin and Patrick rush off to meet her. Sabrina asks Elizabeth what it would take to keep her secret. Felix starts bashing Obrecht, who walks up behind him. She lines them up and prepares them to stay late tonight. Elizabeth has to leave to get her son and Obrecht docks her pay.
Outside Kelly’s, Dante and Michael wait but there is no Franco. Michael wonders if Franco’s games have started. Dante tells Michael not to get all emotional and give Franco what he wants. Dante considers that Kiki and Franco are working together but Michael refuses to believe it. He thinks the news about the knife changes everything.
At the station, Robin tells Anna she knows about Obrecht’s release. Anna thought justice would be served and is devastated. It hurts Robin to hear Anna blame herself, but Anna wishes she had taken Obrecht down when she had the chance. Patrick tells Anna that Obrecht is now chief of staff. Anna is worried about Robin and doesn’t understand why she was put in charge. Patrick hopes she can figure it out. Anna is sure Obrecht had some important information to share with the WSB.
Elizabeth arrives at Wyndemere to pick up Cameron. She bickers with Britt about her mother’s appearance at the hospital before Nickolas breaks it up. He leaves to find the kids who come running in from the stables. They keep quiet about Heather and Nikolas warns them they need to tell him whenever they go to the stables.
Back at Michael’s, Kiki tells Franco to leave before Michael returns but it’s too late. She sneaks Franco out the window before Michael comes in. He asks Kiki if she would tell him if Franco showed up.
Lulu runs into Dante at Kelly’s and they chat awkwardly about Carly. Dante asks her if she’s ever coming home. They are interrupted by a police officer and promise to catch up later. Lulu is near tears after he’s gone.
