GH Recap: A Case Of The Cooties.

    Tuesday, January 21 2014
The staff at General Hospital is stunned by Obrecht’s hiring, Anna is starting to sweat that what she and Robert did to Faison will come back to bite them, and Kiki keeps quiet about Franco.

At the station, Anna hangs up from a distressing phone call. She tells Dante it isn’t about Franco when he asks, and asks him to keep working on the case. She has a feeling Franco hasn’t left town yet.

At their apartment, Michael tells Kiki about the bloody knife with Franco’s prints. He wants to change, but Kiki stops him when he moves to go to the bedroom. She urges him to go take a hot shower instead while she gets his shirt. They kiss and he hits the bathroom. Franco emerges and tells Kiki someone is setting him up, but she throws him out anyway. Before he can leave Dante knocks on the door and Kiki pushes Franco back in the bedroom. Michael comes out of the shower and asks Dante if there are any leads. Dante asks Kiki if Franco has reached out to her.

At Kelly’s, Emma tells Mac and Robert she’s lovesick - both Cameron and Spencer want to be her boyfriend. Robert demands she stay away from both until she’s 30. Mac agrees she’s a little young, but wonders who she would choose if she had to. Robert doesn’t think she has to decide right now. Soon, Mac gets a call from Nikolas about bringing Emma over for a playdate. Anna arrives and pulls Robert aside while Mac and Emma leave for Wyndemere. Alone, Anna tells Robert the WSB secured Obrecht’s release. Robert thinks she had something to trade and Anna wonders if it’s possible Obrecht knows what they did to Faison. Whatever Obrecht used was big and it could bite them in the behind. Robert tells her they have bigger fish to fry - Emma is in a love triangle.

Lulu visits Nikolas at Wyndemere and tells him she left Dante after Britt told them they couldn’t have a baby. He reminds her this isn’t Dante’s fault. Cameron and Spencer rush in begging for Emma to come over. Nikolas hands Lulu the baby so he can see if Emma is available. Later, Mac brings Emma by and she runs off with Spencer. Lulu asks Mac about Carly and he tells her with Dante on the case they’ll find her. He hopes when Maxie finishes her spiritual journey she and Lulu will find their way back to each other. Meanwhile, Spencer and Emma join Cameron, who has made another origami animal for her. Spencer mocks his crafts, but Cameron doesn’t think Emma will be impressed by his fancy things. All three of them bundle up to go outside – Spencer has the perfect place for them to settle this. Meanwhile, Heather moves Carly to a barn on the Wyndemere property. Carly begins screaming and Heather joins in to prove no one will hear her. "Don’t make me get the crop," Heather threatens. Carly is sure Luke will come find her, but Heather tells her he’s in no condition to help. Carly tells Heather she’s just too crazy to succeed. Heather tries to gag Carly to shut her up and Carly bites her before they start brawling. Spencer, Cameron and Emma arrive outside. Carly hears them and screams for help.

At the hospital, Elizabeth overhears Sabrina beg Felix to keep her secret about the baby. They try to play like they were gossiping about the announcement but Elizabeth calls them on it. She can’t imagine why Sabrina would do this. Sabrina begs Elizabeth not to tell. Elizabeth can’t make that promise and can’t believe Sabrina would even ask. Meanwhile, in the board room it’s revealed that Obrecht is Chief of Staff. Robin can’t believe they chose a criminal and attacks Obrecht, insistent Dr. Hardy would be rolling in his grave. "Spinning is more like it," Monica chimes in. Obrecht hands over her WSB release papers and the head of the board confirms all the charges against her have been dropped. Patrick threatens to quit, but Obrecht has already checked things out and they are all under contract. Robin isn’t and walks out. Obrecht admits she isn’t squeaky clean, but who among them is? Obrecht pulls Britt aside and promises not to tell anyone about Ben – she only asks Britt give her a chance. Britt walks away. Obrecht asks Monica to come back as heard of cardiology and she says she’ll think about it. Obrecht tells the head of the board she’s sure the staff will come around. After all, they will have no more choice to go along with her plans than he and General Hospital did. Meanwhile, Patrick catches up with Robin and promises they will deal with this as a family. They overhear Sabrina beg Elizabeth to make sure Patrick never finds out the baby belongs to Carlos.

Britt returns to Wyndemere and tells Lulu and Nikolas she isn’t the new chief.

Here's my version of the “pick-a-plot” game. Pick a character, then spell out their first and last name using the folded paper fortune teller to determine what happens next to that character.

    1. Legal: Falsely accused of murder / rape / theft / malpractice / fraud

    2. Medical: Coma victim / Life threatening Illness / Amnesia / Substance abuse

    3. Car or Plane crash (see above)

    4. Affair / ONS (either cheater or victim), resulting in pregnancy

    5. Blackmailed (see above)

    6. Kidnapped by criminals or obsessed insane person

    7. Evil Twin / Split personality / Imposter in a Latex Mask or after Plastic Surgery

    8. Previously Unknown Relative, (Parent, sibling, child, former spouse) revealed, or back from the dead.

Use a natural disaster or maybe a major fire as a dramatic backdrop, add a few shoot-outs and the occasional explosion caused by some mad genius bomb plot or a mob war, liberally mix in a lot of hot sex scenes between impossibly attractive people, and you've got yourself a soap opera.

I decided to watch again today. The cuteness known as Mac/Robert/Anna/Emma were worth it, as well as the child set though oh boy that Spencer is a class A spoiled brat. Oy.

But really, Carly? You wouldn't yell for help or set up a ruckus when you heart adults outside but when it's kids you do???? The beginnings of the next generation Scorpio/Spencer/Cassidine adventures?

NOT impressed with the WSB. All they seem to do is make deals with criminals and NEVER catch any criminals.

Maybe it's me, I just never found it cute when you make kids growp up too fast. I know the TPTB thinkit's really amusing having this mini love triangle of Cam and Spencer vying for Emma's affections, but I don't.I think all three are good young actors, but as I said let them be kids. The Heather Show is just sickening and it needs to end.Just tired of martyr Sabrina.Oh enough, of the self-sacraficing Princess. We know, we know, Sabrina is truly unselfish, and too good to be true, blah, blah, blah.

Yesterday I didn't think of WSB but look what they did to Julian. I wonder what she used as leverage. Dr O even told the Board Member that they didn't have a choice but appoint her. No wonder Anna is worried about Faison no one seems to stay dead in PC. Just waiting for Jason to arrive. I haven't seen the show yet but I think the recap is wrong. No way Sabrina would beg Liz not to tell Patrick that Carlos is baby daddy. She meant Patrick is.

But kids do do this sort of thing. Heck, I remember the boy who took me in our garage and shut the door to kiss me, and we were around their age. Boyfriend/girlfriend means something different to them at their ages.

The whole baby storyline while I am not a fan I found it interesting that Elizabeth the face of WTD storyline of the show would say about Sabrina being pregnant. I guess after three kids and trying/not wanting to tell the fathers they are fathers of her kids she knows what would be the right thing to do after the third time.

The kids are so adorable I swear they can pull off romantic triangle more than the teens and some adults. I hope nothing happens to them from what we see for tomorrow episode.

Dr. O who I love as a villain I can't see her not being in prison right now. It's like they want to make the character do a 180 she's now " the great choice for cos, acts nice to Britt and wants a relationship without threatening her. I'm ready for that storyline to come to a end.

Which the baby Ben issue is over with already.

I am sick! This episode sunk to the losest levels of the abyss.

Liz is Robin #2. Although it's none of her business, she'll be spilling her guts on who's the baby daddy.

Oh, my friends, I feel another GH hiatus coming on for me. While I DO LOVE Liesl Obrecht and would love to see a path for her to stay on the show, COS is a bit much for me to take. Let her volunteer to save the life of a beloved GH character or something like that to start to "redeem" her. And then to suggest that the doctors are LOCKED IN to contracts that would FORCE them to work for her is beyond ludicrous. If the doctors had these contracts that were that iron clad, there would have been no way that the Board could have fired Monica because of AJ's legal problems. Come on now! And add this lunacy on top of the whole Heather is able to get the drop on LUKE - REALLY??!!? HOW is a criminally insane person with NO MONEY able to afford henchmen? And really, Nik needs to get a bit more security at ALL his properties. First Jerry and Obrecht have Robin held prisoner on Cassadine Island in Greece. Then they move to Wyndermere. And NOW Heather is holding Carly in his stables. Frankly, I don't know how much more of this I can take.

And just why does Heather claim to know Windemere like the back of her hand?
