Aussie - I was thinking the same thing about video chat, odd the super tech Spinelli wouldn't suggest just that. I think what it comes down to,is there is nothing factual about this entire s/l. There is NO way in real life Maxie would lose custody of HER baby because she lied. Not sure, but don't think the court plays moral police.

    Happy Monday Everyone -

I really enjoyed the entire show today. I'm giving Frau Blucher the line of the day asking Anna if she wanted to play Hang Man when Anna shoved the legal pad in front of her and told her to confess. These two actresses play off of each other so, I'm hoping there's some way to KG around as a foil for FH.

Line of the day I would have wanted Dante to say in the lab when questioning Ellie about the embryos: " Well, they didn't just sprout legs and walk out of the lab, did they?" Perhaps in true Spencer form, when their SL gets boring, they went on a walk about. LOL. So tired of the babies in distress, WTD baby SLs, and the rest of the RC angst.

How convenient that Ick came into Sonny's gym holding his big gun in his hand and threatening everyone, including Anna and Dante, just after he told Duke that he understood why Duke wouldn't risk losing Anna. I guess Ick thinks if he takes off his shirt his chest will distract Anna long enough to take the first shot...good luck with that Ick. In any case lurking Duke heard all he needed to go into full protection mode and join forces with Sonny. Here's hoping that he can out Bernie, Bernie and make the Jerome money disappear.

So much for the big debate that Ellie did something with the embryo's.
The montage of Spin and Maxie was really good. I wasn't watching when Spin frist came to GH so missed him the mop of hair.
One of the best scenes I remember of Spin and Maxie was the one Christmas they went around as Santa's helpers and brought a special gift to a number of people in PC.
As Maxie said, She an Spin were what could have been and Spin and Ellie are what will be.

I would be worried about Duke, but this time around he has Shawn and Sonny on his side. Of course, Luke's not really busy these days, so he can always pick up Robert's slack.

Britt told Nik she used a anonymous sperm donation from the lab to create Ben. That certainly opens the door to possibilities. Finally some real love in the afternoon - it's been a very long time, since we saw the last great love scenes - Sonny and Olivia haven't managed to be alone in weeks.

I couldn't believe Maxie tried to shut the door in Spinelli's face. NOW she's trying to do the right thing? I loved their bittersweet goodbye, and I was extremely happy that they did indeed name their child Georgie before she left, as I had hoped they would, and that was probably the sweetest, and most platonic goodbye kiss I've ever seen on this show. The flashback review of their history together was brilliant, and the evolution of Spinelli's hair was hilarious, but seeing how Maxie and Spinelli's relationship grew over time only served as futher evidence that Maxie would've NEVER tried to deprive Spinelli of his own daughter in a million years, which makes the fact that she actually did seem even more out of character for her than it obviously was. These writers apparently don't know how to advance a plot without making somebody act contrary to everything we know about them.

Case in point: Anna was foolish to tip her hand about Faison to Frau Blücher. She could've simply told her that after this last incident, the security at Steinmauer was deemed inadequate to hold Faison, so the WSB is holding him incommunicado, in another Top-Secret facility whose name and location is classified, and even Anna doesn't know where he is. Surely Frau Blücher can't insist on anything concerning Faisy, since she has no legal standing. She is just his accomplice and co-conspirator, not his wife and there would be no obligation for the authorities to allow them to communicate so they could get their stories straight. But now, since Anna lied, Frau's attorney (if she ever gets one) could easily find out that Faison is NOT in custody at Steinmauer, or anywhere else. Then Anna and Robert will have some questions of their own to answer.

I didn't expect to see Ick today, and he sure is taking a big chance over someone who is "just an employee," but it's worth it now that Duke is on board with Sonny. Finally, there is someone in Sonny's organization with a functioning brain at last! Maybe they can actually get something accomplished now.

Duke still has to find a job, though.

Maxi and Spinelli's goodbye was very touching. Finally that cute little baby girl has a proper name - Georgie. I loved seeing the history of their relationship as I wasn't watching when they first met or became friends. I do remember the great Christmas episode when Spinelli and Maxi helped Santa deliver the perfect Christmas gifts to Robin's family (Emma was a newborn baby). I will really miss Spinelli, he's been one of my favorite characters since I started watching the show again.

prettypeachesroses79 ~ What Scrimmage was asking that if you post spoilers that you mark them with a header, and space down several lines from the header before writing them, that way people that are spoiler free can avoid the posts.

Posted by Scrimmage at Monday, December 16 2013 03:47 PM

    Prettypeachroses79 – NO!

I am SPOILER-FREE, like many other posters on this board, which is why the Rules for this site REQUIRE that all SPOILERS and SPOILER TALK be clearly MARKED, so as not to ruin the show for those of us that do NOT want to know what's going to happen in advance.

There are other areas on this website that are set aside for discussion of SPOILERS and COMINGS AND GOINGS, but on THIS board, they must be MARKED.

In the future, please MARK YOUR SPOILERS so those of us who are SPOILER-FREE can avoid reading them.
