I said earlier that the transformation of Morgan was not credible. In my opinion the writers changed the wrong brother. It would have been much more believable if Michael had gone wrong and sweet good younger brother Morgan was trying to straighten him out. Also, if Kiki had shown a preference for the good son, Morgan, and dumped the one who couldn't stay out of trouble. Michael being jealous over his misperception that Morgan, the biological son, was getting preference would have worked a lot better.

Poodles, the ranking of greatest living artist was as follows: Gerhard Richter (the one who printed out the stripes) Jasper Johns, Richard Serra, Bruce Nauman, Cindy Sherman, and Ellsworth Kelly. I thought I knew something about art, but I have never heard of any of them. Jackson Pollock's works look as if he has been sick on the canvas after a rowdy night out and don't even ask me about Jean Michel Basquiat.

I love the impressionists, and was recently reading an article about the correspondence between a young painter and Vincent Van Gogh, of whom he was a friend and admirer. Van Gogh shared detailed instructions and sketches about his paintings and how they were achieved, which appeared to go right over the head of the young man who continued to paint for many years, and in comparison with Van Gogh's work, they were so flat and colorless it was unbelievable. The subjects of VG's works stood out almost in 3 dimensions. Many of the impressionists had an immediately recognizable style.

Perhaps Heather had printed out her artwork on a plotter. Don't ask where.

Cynic- I thought that too about advertising near the polling place. Plus, I don't think you're allowed to talk anything about voting except what kind of turn out- packed all day, light, etc.

Enjoyed the commentary on greatest living artists and the lines on canvas- WOW! Who would have thought crazy Heather actually nailed it with that collection???

Oh, and loved how Heather rehung the painting and asked how they could not see the BLT!

Good Morning and Happy Friday to All. Bayoubtr - love "moron world", lol. I think when Moron was talking to Olivia, he was having a teeny tiny light bulb moment wherein he sort of got that maybe he screwed up. They did that close up on his face and he actually looked in "owwwww it hurts to think". I imagine when occupants of "moron world" think you can hear the noise bug light zappers make....snap, crackle, snap. And so to stop the pain of thinking, they quickly look for a distraction to run and hide under. I am not sure where sniveling Moron will slink off to, but he needs to go.

Something actually happened! I'm in shock!
Why does Kin Shriner always sound like he forgot his lines?
He's aways "um"ing and stumbling over his words. I guess that's why I never liked him. His acting is very one-dimensional.

Rainey-- Ribbit, girlfriend! Don't work too hard!

SouthGA-- Thanks for the Tigers shout out! Go Dawgs!!!

I'm kind of confused about why people think Heather is Franco's mother. I thought the whole thing was about him being Jason's twin and hating Jason because he got everything while franco got nothing. And didn't Heather deny it anyway? Not that that means much, I agree, since this EP and HW always feel free to change history whenever it's inconvenient.

I agree with a lot of posters who say the cast needs trimming. But I'd start with Derek and Ava. I'd also get rid of Lucy, Scotty, Silas, TJ, Sean, Rafe and his girlfriend (whose name I can't remember), Kiki...
I wouldn't get rid of Olivia - she's one of the few that has a brain. I think Diane, Alexis and Olivia should form a club and not let any of the guys (or Carly) in! They could all be Mayor and clean up the town of wiseguys and posers (Franco!). Heather needs to be in isolation in a strait jacket because that would seem to be the only way to keep her in the asylum!
I also have to say I hate the way they've made Alexis look like a $$lut and have her practically panting over Derek.
It would have been so much better if SAm's father was a boy she loved but her father kept them apart and made her giveup the baby.
