Sonny comes to a realization about Morgan, Kiki and Michael try to warn Morgan about Ava, and Heather offers to buy all the art at the opening under one condition.

At the Metro Court, Diane coaxes Franco to go to the opening. He doesn't want to. It's not his art and Carly's going to be there with Derek. Diane reminds him this is all about the money. He reluctantly gets ready and calls her a red-headed tin man. She suggests he relax, this will all go off without a hitch provided the real artist does not show up.

At the polls, Morgan snaps at Olivia. It's too late to make things right with Sonny. Olivia thinks he's gambling again but he leaves. Meanwhile, Scott recommends Lazaro resign as D.A. after listening to the recording of him speaking with Sonny about the missing file. Elsewhere, TJ's surprised Shawn's voting for Lazaro. Shawn takes a call from Max – Sonny's taking Derek out tonight outside the gallery. TJ's worried something could happen to Shawn when he mentions he has to work. TJ won't have anyone if something happens to Shawn. Shawn explains why TJ's mother is not there for him because of her grief and that his father would be proud of him. They hug.

At the restaurant, Kiki admits Ava is Victor Jerome's daughter. Michael stops her when she asks Sonny not to kill Ava. Sonny promises that he's not after Ava. Michael and Kiki leave when Olivia comes to see Sonny about Morgan who could be in big trouble. Lazaro comes in upset and wants to talk about their earlier discussion regarding the missing file. Sonny shares how Olivia knows. Lazaro announces she's not the only one. Baldwin knows. Lazaro thinks Sonny set him up. Sonny grabs him by his shirt and tie. He's never worn a wire in his life and tells Lazaro to get out. Alone, Olivia realizes she saw Morgan talking to Scott earlier. He said it was 'too late'. Sonny remembers that Morgan returned his grandfather's watch and walks into his office.

At the Jerome Gallery, Sebastian thinks Heather looks angry and asks if she's having a good evening. She admits she's just getting started and downs another glass of champagne. Nearby, Carly tries to learn what secret relationship Derek has with Morgan when Ava invites Derek to tell the truth. When everyone dismisses Ava for knowing nothing about the truth, she is ready to fill them all in on their secret. Derek allows Ava to do the honors and she announces he's her silent partner. Carly reminds everyone the question was about his relationship to Morgan. Sam realizes that Derek's responsible for proceeds going to pediatric leukemia research and thanks him. Derek swears nothing's going on between Morgan and him and points out she can ask Morgan herself when he arrives. Ava slides up to Morgan and explains how Carly thinks he's involved with Derek. Morgan's offended and Ava furthers the point by kissing Morgan. Carly wants Ava to let go of Morgan and attacks her. After they're pulled apart, Sebastian introduces Franco, who enters with Diane. Franco thanks everyone for coming and for not losing faith in him. He looks at Carly as he speaks and adds, "Your love and support mean everything to me." Sebastian catches Heather getting another drink and warns she better purchase a painting before they're own gone. She tells him she wants to buy the rest of the paintings but she wants something from the artist first. Sam and Silas visit the bar. She wants to check on Carly but she's busy talking to Franco…he's sorry he missed the cat fight but is glad he was wrong about Morgan and Derek. He hopes she has a lovely evening with Derek and Carly hopes he does the same with Diane. She compliments him on the show and he really needs to tell her something. Elsewhere, Diane runs into Max who's interested to know if she's really seeing Franco. Back at the bar, Ava points out to Derek that Sonny's thug has arrived. Derek knows what he's doing and leaves to talk to Sam. She's interested in him making another trip to the hospital for research for Danny. Sam hugs him when he agrees. Kiki arrives with Michael to warn Morgan about Ava's connection to the Jerome crime family. Ava and Morgan aren't interested. Kiki thinks something is seriously wrong and wants Morgan to walk away from Ava until they figure this out. She has proof. Morgan blows them off and leaves with Ava. Michael noticed Morgan wasn't surprised when they told them about Ava's brother. Scott and Lucy show up. She's worried Morgan's gift to Scott comes with strings attached. Scott receives a call – Lazaro's out as D.A. and Baldwin is in. Suddenly, Sebastian announces there's a purchaser for the remainder of Franco's art if he can tell them all about each of the paintings. Everyone's confused at Franco's mumblings. Suddenly, Heather turns one of the striped paintings on its side and retorts, "You just don't get it. It's a B.L.T."

Tomorrow’s Port Charles spoilers for General Hospital:

Franco isn't pretending anymore, it's over.

Heather yells, "Stay away from me!"

Derek tells Morgan that it's the beginning of a new friendship.

Michael thinks Morgan wants to stick it to his dad.

Sonny explains to Olivia, Julian's not coming back from the dead this time.

Frodd's hotel room. Frodd has invited Carly in to tell her something important.

Frodd (to Carly): “I know something you don't know about Ick.”

Carly: “Oh please! Can't you give it a rest? Who are you going to tell me he's sleeping with now?”

Frodd: “Well, I don't think they've slept together yet, but it's just a matter of time, since I think he's dating someone you know, and it's apparently VERY serious.”

Carly: “Okay, I'll bite. Who is Frodd dating that would be so shocking to me that I would never want to see him again? Is it my mom, Bobbie? I've got news for you. I stole her husband once, so if she wants Ick, she's more than welcome to him. What else have you got?”

Frodd: “Well, brace yourself. The person that Frodd is dating is none other than your ex-husband's bodyguard, Max!”

Carly (laughing): “You CAN'T be serious! There is no bigger heterosexual male than Max. He's about as gay as a breeding bull. What would make you say such a ridiculous thing?”

Frodd: “It's TRUE! I distinctly overheard Sonny telling that Max guy that he should take Ick out after the art show, and then he said something about Ick 'going down.' That's when I got grossed out and quit listening, but it's the only possible explanation.”

Carly: “Just how much of your brain did they pull out of your head along with that stupid tumor? If you had even a shred of proof that what you say is true, I'd have sex with you AND Ava!”

Max (to Frodd): “You'll pay me a million dollars to let you film me having sex with WHO??”

GROSS Scrimmage! But you think like a man.

Yes I made a generalization about the male species.....

Most of the things I complain about concerning the show are just part of the much larger problems that can all be traced back to the introduction of the OLTL3 into the GH universe. That original mistake, and its aftermath caused major disruptions in the natural progression of the show, and the repercussions of those disruptions made it necessary to rewrite, redirect, or even abandon several major storylines. Just think about how different things would've been, and where we might be now if they had just quit while they were ahead and we never had to deal with the re-introduction of the OLTL3 as Kinky, Slimas, and Frodd. There would've been no need for much of what we're seeing now.

    We could've avoided:

1.) Seeing Moron recast as Michael's jealous little traitor of a brother.

2.) The whole “missing Q” storyline, which would include the most convoluted, contrived, and confusing backstory in the history of GH surrounding Kinky's ever-changing family tree, not to mention Connie's murder, which led to AJ's arrest and subsequent disappearance.

3.) The gambling and suggested incest storylines, Kinky and Moron's five minute marriage, and Ava's stomach turning affair with Moron.

4.) Pickle Lila and the infamous tainted relish crossover with the Chew, which introduced us to Frodd.

5.) Danny's life threatening illness, which only served to make Slimas a hero, and to bring Sam and Slimas together. Perhaps it was also a handy way to illustrate Ick's connection with Sam, but they didn't need to make a kid sick to introduce Sam's long lost daddy. That could've been done any number of ways.

6.) The nonsensical revision of Frodd's past misdeeds, his brutal beating by Shawn, his medical and legal “redemption,” and his near total emasculation due to the removal of his Brain Tumor of Evil Artistic Genius, which led directly to this art show, which I have no doubt will become yet another unintentional debacle of a storyline.

7.) The need to deny and ignore almost an entire year of storylines involving Todd, McBat, and Starr, whom we're expected to believe never existed and were never on the show, despite all the evidence to the contrary.

Of course, we'd still be stuck with Robin's rescue and her return from the dead, the distasteful Maxie/Nulu feud over Spixie, and the all too familiar subplot involving a rival mob trying to oust Sonny, but that's all par for the soapy course, and doesn't even come close to the “jump the shark” territory that we have been steadily approaching ever since RC tried to fit three of his favorite square OLTL pegs into a round GH hole.

Got to disagree with number 5. I don't find Slimas a hero for doing the job he was trained to do and recognizing an illness that he's trained to treat! Yeah doctor's go above and beyond but I didn't see it with him - unless you count trying to get into Mom's pants.

If anyone is a hero it's Derick for stepping up and donating when he didn't have too! Yeah it was the right thing but he still didn't have too.

WatFan – You leave me no choice but to plead guilty for thinking like a man. Yes, I thought that Heather was upset about her paintings being improperly hung (insert jokes about Moron having the same problem HERE), but I believe someone else said that they were representations of BLTs. I do recall that yesterday Sam said looking at them made her hungry, which in retrospect is actually pretty funny.

Just watching the Diane/Franco scenes which are a riot. CH/Diane says she loves playing with RH/Franco, you can sure tell, looks that they both are having fun.

WatFan – Technically I agree with you that Slimas did nothing above and beyond the call of duty. I guess for the sake of clarity I should've said that the purpose of the storyline surrounding Danny's illness was to build Slimas up in Sam's mind, and make him APPEAR heroic in her eyes (and perhaps to the audience as well), setting the stage for their inevitable romantic involvement.

Oh no sending Shawn, he doesn't have a very good track record since becoming a hit man.

So now that Heather has come forward and taken credit for the art and explained it, the question is, does Sebastian still think he has a roomful of wonderful expensive paintings???
