Sam and Silas discuss who Ava really is, Diane encourages Franco to go on with the show, and Morgan lays it on the line for Ava and Derek.

    (ABC)

In Franco's room, Diane reminds Franco how he admitted not painting the first striped painting when he tries to take credit for all the striped paintings in his room. Franco didn't paint the first one, but he painted all the other ones. He was inspired by his muse. Diane wants his muse's signature on a contract but Franco thinks she wants to remain anonymous. Diane's not buying it and thinks Franco's lost his mojo. He confides he couldn't paint. Diane's concerned the muse could make trouble and tells him about Stephen King's bestseller, Misery, about an obsessed fan torturing her favorite author. Is this woman not capable of that? Franco lies, claiming he has an oral contract with his muse to sell the art as his own. Diane warns he's perpetrating fraud. It could ruin their contract with Ava. Franco asks Diane to tear it up. Ava will not profit from his show. His talent's gone but Diane wants him to suck it up to pay his debts. He's ready to sign the contract until he sees Derek's signature. Diane wishes him luck finding a genius solution to pay his debts before Carly kicks him out.

At GH, Sam plans a trip to Ryan's Bar. Lucy's alerted that Kevin can't make lunch. As Silas approaches she advises Sam to never fall for a doctor, especial Dr. Clay since evil runs in the DNA. Alone with Silas, Sam admits she might have as much evil in her DNA as he does. She's a mobster's daughter and might be related to Ava Jerome. Sam shares what Lucy knew and asks if he ever heard of a bar named Ryan's. He's been there with Ava a couple of times and will take Sam.

Scott's surprised when he recognizes Heather outside of Kelly's. She wants a big hug but he doesn't want her to catch his cold – he fakes a cough. He wonders why she's not locked up. She's surprised it's not obvious that she needs a BLT like the ones she used to share with her lover Joe until Scott destroyed what they had. Suddenly she pulls a butcher knife from her pocketbook and takes a stab at him. He struggles with her and reminds her that it was just as much her fault that Joe caught the two of them in bed together. She agrees they were more than good friends once and kisses him passionately against his will. Lucy's surprises them and gets angry when she realizes Scott's kissing Heather. She wants him to catch Heather Webber to prove he's hard on crime. Heather will confess Scott planned her escape. He agrees to let her go. She waits for him to get her a BLT, and then thanks him for the trip down memory lane before leaving.

At Crimson, Morgan realizes Derek Wells is Julian Jerome when he overhears Ava joke about him thinking she was sleeping with her brother. Derek admires Ava's dedication for going after Morgan after Kiki left him for Michael but he's concerned Michael could find out they're going after his father. Ava assures him that Morgan will never know. Morgan interrupts them. He knows Derek is Julian Jerome and plans to take out Sonny. Derek wonders why he cares – he hates his father's guts. It's obvious Sonny doesn't 'give a damn' about him, why should he? He suggests Morgan forget everything he's heard. Morgan thinks he's being threatened. Sonny's still his dad. He's going to go tell him everything. Ava begs him not to do this but is unable to stop him. Derek blames her for keeping him around because she is stuck on Silas. Ava doesn't think Morgan will tell Sonny. Ava's concerned when Derek wants to stop Morgan and calls Carlos in.

Michael arrives at the coffee warehouse and inquires about what the cops were searching for when he sees the mess. Sonny believes it had something to do with Julian Jerome. Michael worries that Ava's working with Julian to bring Sonny down and Morgan is caught in the middle. Sonny can't convince Morgan without proof. Michael wants to do something since he's still unemployed. Sonny offers him the restaurant and he agrees to turn it into something like Sonny and Connie wanted. They hug. Morgan overhears Sonny's sentiments of how great it is to have his son close to him.

Tomorrow’s Port Charles spoilers for General Hospital:

Morgan has all the intellegence of a box of rocks. Yeah, show your cards to your enemy so they can have you taken out. Brilliant!

PLEASE tell me that the final "tomorrow's spoiler" actually happens. I'd be oh so happy.

Julian is SCUM. He orders a hit on a teenager? He needs to go back underground.
Usually mob people don't go after woman and children, He's a coward. Using Carly and killing Morgan.

Cool that Sonny gave Michael a restaurant. What a dad. Morgan will be jealous though.....

Diane is knowingly getting into an illegal arrangement. Kind of surprised by that.

Glad Heather got to "feel pretty". A nice kiss from an old love AND a BLT, she's having a great day.

Sam didn't mention who was going to take care of her newly released from the hospital baby when she goes to NY. No more just up and leaving on the fly anymore.

Morgan for a while I really loved you in the suit looking like a young mobster like your dad Sonny. But now you are back to the young child. The "adult" thing would have been to just slip out like you came in and run tell dad. But once you heard that they both were the mobsters Jeromes and want to take your dad down, you know about them and why would you even face them? It would be great to see this storyline turn in to the Corinthos boys teaming up with dad to beat the Jeromes.

You mean Robin got away? Hope she gets home in time to stop that wedding; but it wouldn't matter cause the court would null and void Patricks' marriage to Sabrina. Hope Robin is down in the lab freeing her mom and dad. How much longer are we to wait this storyline out? Sabrina I'm sorry; although I'm glad you got Patrick away from Britt, Robin is his wife and he still loves her. I'm not gonna tell you to go back to Carlos cause you are not the only, if any, reason he's in PC and you shouldn't get caught up in that.

Poor Franco, wish he could have kept his talent, hope he does make lots of money from "Heather's" talent. I haven't seen anything about him leaving the show so guess he's gonna be doing something for a while.

    Bring back Jason!

I just love Sonny; even when he's ruthless, he's good. I'm telling you he needs to bring Olivia into his "family" and she can help wipe out the Jeromes. Ava is the hit man for her family, why not Olivia be the hit man for Sonnys'. Ava shot Franco and killed Connie; that's what Connie was trying to say when she wrote AJ; not AJ Quatermane killed her, but Ava Jerome.

He really IS a moron, isn't he? There's no way Ick would've let Moron walk out of that office alive. Heck, he could be calling Sonny from the elevator, or run into his mother, who OWNS THE HOTEL, downstairs. Duke was right, Ick IS careless. Between his overestimating the effect his minor vandalism will have on Sonny's ability to fight back, and allowing his enemy's son to blow his cover and walk away knowing all of his plans is pretty much the definition of incompetent.

I'm still expecting Moron to “turn” and join Team Jerome. I still want to see Carlos to take him under his wing, and teach him to be a hit man, the way Sonny did with Jason. And then we'll see what happens when Moron is told to take out his father the way Ava tried to kill Frodd.

Maybe I should make that “Fraud,” from now on. Like many posters predicted, and Diane so rightly pointed out, Frodd lost his artistic Mojo along with his obsession with death, and his homicidal tendencies when they removed his Tumor of Evil and Artistic Genius.

What does that say about what we value as “art?”

This silly subplot about Frodd and Heather's art would be intolerable if not for the joy of seeing Heather herself! Her antics are worth any outlandish twists about her escapes and returns, and I won't even begin to question how she got out lugging all those canvases all the way to PC. I just gladly accept that she “has her ways,” and I'm truly bummed that we didn't get to see her in the all-inmate production of “Brigadoon.” Heather almost mentioned McBat this time around, and she even made Scotty entertaining for once, although he usually is much better when he's not around Laura. Today I even felt sorry for the guy. You never know what's going to come out of, or go into Heather's mouth, but when she dropped the knife and swallowed Scotty's face like a BLT, at first I groaned out loud in sympathy which turned into a little bit of disgust the longer it went on, so it kinda sounded like “Ohhhhhhh... Ewwwwwww!....”

The upcoming gallery show is obviously going to be the setting for whatever big ratings stunt they're going to pull that usually involves getting most of the cast together in one place, like the Love Boat, or the MC Hostage Crisis. They couldn't stage yet another big disaster at Carly's hotel OR the hospital itself, and realistically expect either one to stay in business. Maybe we'll see a mob shoot-out, a Heather rampage, Robin's first face-to-face with Patrick and Emma, or even a combination of all of the above, plus a big explosion, courtesy of Carrllos. Maybe that's where Robert and Anna will catch up to Faison and Frau Blücher too. The more the merrier!

I'll bet they've built a big “gallery” set, just for the express purpose of blowing it up, and/or burning it down, hopefully with all of Heather's paintings, and a few choice characters inside.

I'm thinking that Sonny's plan is to have Michael follow Connie's designs for the renovation of the restaurant. I remember wondering what ever happened to that idea, which I have been a supporter of for a long time, except that I want Sonny to design the menu. Maybe this time Sonny WILL get forced out of the mob AND the coffee business after all, and he'll only be left with the restaurant as the “family business.” I would be SO interested in seeing that.

Can't say the same about Slimas and Sam's day trip to New York City. Yawn!

Scrimmage, I have to say that reading your comments always makes me laugh. So now it looks as if GH will not only have a brother against a brother's story line with Michael and Morgan. But now the stupidity of Morgan betraying his own father. Now I truly see why some refer to him as Moron. Because I can see him changing his mind about telling Sonny what he overheard because his saw Sonny and Michael's bonding. Could they please just write this kid back in school?

Posted by Soap Bubbles at Thursday, October 24 2013 02:05 PM

I don't think Moron will be written back to school. I think he is going to be the family pain in the arse for years to come. Moron will be AJ to Michael's 'Jason'.

I knew Morgan was dumb but really? "I know what you did and I'm telling? Did this boy never watch a movie?

Posted by TipsyTess at Thursday, October 24 2013 02:21 PM

    Hi everyone
Morgan why are you telling them what you are planning? Sonny better have Max watching out for him. To bad Sonny loves Michael more.
Franco did Heather say it was ok that you put your name on her art?
I guess Sam must have a nanny now that she can go off on a whim.

Rans~ while I dislike Derek/Julian too, I don't think it's fair to say he's going after a child... I thought I heard somewhere that Morgan was 20, and while he is not really a smart grown up, he is not a child, or even a teenager anymore..

If Morgan doesn't tell his father what he knows I will forever hate him and won't care if he is the next victim.. If he betrays his family.... well, that to me is the lowest thing...
