It's interesting that the writer's have chosen to use Ryan's bar as the place where Victor Jerome may have met Ava's mother. As some of us know, Ryan's bar was the setting where "Ryan's Hope" took place and where Ilene Kristen originated the role of Delia Reid Ryan. However, she's not the only actress who played that role. Robin Mattson also played that role which makes it unlikely that Heather would be Ava's mother as someone suggested. I do remember that Ryan's bar was in Manhattan in a neighborhood that was ruled by a mob family and wondered if the Jerome's might have been the head of that family. Delia was married to Dr. Roger Coldridge, who coincidentally was played by Ron Hale who also played Mike Corbin, Sonny Corinthos's father. Delia was always a mess and getting into trouble and she went through all the Ryan brother's so it wouldn't surprise me one bit if she hooked up Victor Jerome and had a secret love child, Ava, with him. Good use of history by the current writer's.

lol....beenaround and Auntie. I may check out the Chew tomorrow only to see if they let GH cast visitors talk and interact, or if they are as bossy and rude as the banshees on the Spew. One other thing about both shows that drives me nutz is how they cue card the live audience to scream at the top of their lungs as if the studio is on fire.

rans - Of course Sonny would have business interruption insurance, at least on paper. In theory what Derek said is true, but not so much in the business world of here and now.

who thinks that the actor who plays Julian Jerome NEEDS to audition for the Lead in 50 Shades of Grey? He is the perfect actor to play this part.

soap, it's true that they have the audience clapping and screaming as loud as possible. I attended a local show here in Chicago, Windy City Live I had such a headache.

Soap Bubbles-- While I don't watch the Chew on a regular basis, I find them to be much more civilized and accomodating to their guests. Plus I've picked up some good tips, cooking-wise.

milwaukee: The lead in 50 shades is 26 years old.
    He's be WAY too old.

Rans - you are so right about Derek and Ava using Morgone like a rented mule, but they are clearly underestimating Carly. This ain't her first rodeo. Leaving Derek out of the equation for a moment...Carly and Ava squaring off over Carly's baby boy Morgone alone will set up the cat fight of the century. And once Derek's true ID is known, Carly will have a vested interest in doing her part to scorch his soul for messing with Sonny.

    OT:

The only thing I know about 50 Shades is that the studio doesn't want to shell out big money. I have no idea who would make a good Christian Gray, but from what I've heard, he's supposed to be young. So far, most actors approached have turned it down.
