Ramsomha, again I agree with you re Kimberly McCullough's honesty.
And I see our resident "bully" by name of Scrimmage is bound and determined to push his point as the final and "correct" word on Robin's return. Would you say, just a tad bit pushy?
Hey, Scrimmage--you must know Billy Joe Shaver's song "Try, Try Again"?
    And so it goes . . . .
C'est la vie. C'est la guerre?

    ******************SPOILERISH****************************

Ransomha ~ I believe it will be Emma that see's Robin first around Halloween, and no one will believe her just like when she called.

I want to make it perfectly clear that even though I have been extremely critical of one of my favorite characters, namely Maxie, while at the same time I have defended Nulu (who is NOT one of my faves), for her understandably negative, and harsh reaction to Maxie's deception, that should not be taken as my being in favor of Nulu and Dante keeping Spixie.

In spite of her heinous attempt to give away her own daughter in place of the one she miscarried, I firmly believe that a child should not be kept from her natural parents except under the most extreme circumstances, and therefore Spinelli and Maxie should be awarded custody and given the opportunity to raise their little girl. I'm pretty sure that's how things are going to shake out on the show too, at least as far as Spixie's immediate future is concerned.

I also think that it's very likely that Britt's baby Ben will figure into this story before it's all said and done, but either way, Dante and Nulu are the victims here, and they have every right to feel as betrayed and as angry with Maxie as they want to. They are under no obligation to try to see things from her perspective, or to cut her any slack, or to forgive her anytime in the foreseeable future.

    Speaking of Ben...

We've got brand names like “Ben and Jerry” and “Little Caesar” being dropped all over the place. Is this perhaps the next thing in product placement? Naming babies on TV shows after corporations in order to enhance their marketing potential? Is the next baby girl born on the show going to be named “Apple?” Will the next boy be named “Bing?” Although I have to admit, that would be pretty cool, but it's a slippery slope! If we go down that road, how long before we're talking about an affair between a couple of people named Charmin and Ford?

all those people on the Island and Emma sees her? Weird.....

I read that Lulu and Dante get the baby because of lies Lulu tells in court.
Odd that the grandparents wouldn't get her over " friends". Hope that doesn't happen.

Lets say Dante and Lulu somehow get custody of Connie and then they find out that Ben is theirs, will they be raising two babies or want to give Connie back?

Ransomha ~ What I read is not that Lulu lies they just bring up that Maxie perjured herself in Matt's trial (which she did) and that Spinelli worked for the Mob which he did. If fact if Winifred hadn't made the evidence go away Spin would still be in federal prison. Not to mention all the laws he broke hacking for Jason and others.

Scrimmage I totally agree that baby Ben will factor in to the Dante/Nulu baby debacle. I think lab rat Brad's only contribution to baby Ben's arrival was retrieving one of the Falconeri embryos from the lab for Britch when she needed to get pregnant pronto. Between Britch and Brad...both recently showing signs of wanting to make amends and get on the right side of things.....one of them may find it opportunistic to confess how Ben came to be.

It's not like Lulu has a clean slate.
She lied on adoption forms getting her black listed and she killed Scott's son and Luke's friend. Also did a stint in a mental facility i'm pretty sure....

Dante also has a father that is the mob boss of the city.

Will she want Connie if Ben turns out to be hers?

Ransomha ~ From what I have read yes they will want both babies. My feeling is that even if Robins makes it back, Dr O and Faison escape and take baby Ben with them, if that happens, they may not get Ben back for a while.
As for Dante's father being who he is, he didn't raise him and he has a large Italian family for support. As for Lulu most everything she did was as a juvenile so records on that are probably sealed.
What I read is that Robin and Nic come back to PC to get supplies to make more of the cure under the condition that no one sees them. Like all Spoilers they maybe partly true, but not entirely true. It's also been said that the writers are playing it close to the vest about what's going to happen. So who knows what is true or not.

    ***off topic***

Nancy marie – You criticize me for posting my opinions about Robin and her portrayer, Kimberly, but you seem to think it's okay to call me names like “bully” and “pushy?” It makes absolutely no difference to me, but don't you see how hypocritical that is? And just who do you think it is that I'm bullying? Certainly not you, although you seem to be the only one squawking about it every chance you get. I'm not the one who is insulting another poster personally by making unfounded accusations and calling them names while trying to suppress their posts just because you disagree with their point of view.

And to correct another one of your misrepresentations about me, I never said that posters should refrain from criticizing an actor for his or her professional choices, whether it's how they play a scene or if they decide to leave the show. That's all fair game. It comes with the territory, and actors expect that sort of thing. What I actually said was that we shouldn't be making fun of them for any physical characteristics they may have that are beyond their control. I do claim an exception when it comes to Felicia's annoying voice, but it IS annoying, so sue me.

In a perverse way it's flattering that you're so obsessed with shutting me up. I've obviously struck a nerve, because if there wasn't some validity to what I've been saying then it wouldn't bother a big Robin fan like you this much. It's very telling that in all your complaining, you haven't really disputed anything I've written. You've simply jumped on me for not worshiping at the altar of She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Criticized, as if I dared to write blasphemy on the chapel walls.

Instead of wasting your time trying to get me to quit expressing my honest opinions (and you ARE wasting your time), why don't you just keep writing about how wonderful Kimberly is and how she's the best actress EVER, and how Robin is the most essential and important character ever to appear on General Hospital, and how lucky we all are that she's decided to once again grace us with her presence? I'm sure it would all be very convincing, and fascinating reading.

Or you can just keep on encouraging me, the way you have been. Again, it makes absolutely no difference to me, one way or the other.
