    I Told The Truth.

    Monday, September 30 2013
Patrick deals with his feelings for Robin, Brad causes a scene at the christening, and Britt warns her mother to leave.

    (ABC)

Jerry Jacks approaches a fallen Luke Spencer in the underground complex of Cassadine Island. Luke's glad Jerry's alive and glibly thanks him for poisoning the water supply in Port Charles. Jerry offers to make it up to him with a cure for polonium poisoning when he realizes Luke's there for the same cure – Helena infected Luke as the Vulcan infected him. He shares his relationship with Faison and Obrecht. After Faison extorted money from him and Obrecht helped him as long as she could, she had to find another doctor to work on the cure. Luke's eager to know more and Jerry points out the doctor is right behind that door. He's hoping there's enough cure for the whole class but Jerry disappoints him. There's only enough cure for one. Luke didn't come all this way to die here. Jerry calls his guard to take him away then and waves bye as he goes into the other room and tells Robin he's been singing her praises.

Anna discusses her open cases with Patrick at Kelly's and notes she's eager to find Obrecht who's dropped off the grid. Patrick recounts how he found out Britt's baby wasn't. He's ready to focus on his loved ones but is worried about his relationship with Sabrina now that her ex is in town. Patrick doesn't like Carlos and admits being upset about how Carlos pointed out that he's still wearing his wedding ring. Anna wonders why he is as well. He knows Robin would want him to be happy but he can't let her go. Alone outside, Anna phones in looking for any new leads on Obrecht.

Britt's surprised to find her mother holding Ben at Wyndemere and reminds her she's a wanted criminal. No one will stand in her way…she'd do anything to see her grandbaby. Britt takes her baby back, and then listens to her mother chastise her for her figure and the baby's name – Ben. Obrecht wonders when Patrick will be tossing Sabrina aside but Britt confesses she told Patrick he isn't the father. She stops Obrecht from hitting her and wants her to leave before she calls the cops. If she doesn't, Nik will when he finds her there. If that's so then Obrecht decides she doesn't have much time. Britt wonders, "For what?"

After the christening at the church, Spinelli and Maxie look worried when Brad announces he needs to speak to Lulu and Dante about the baby. Everyone's arguing about Brad's reason for being there when Olivia questions if they are talking about Britt's baby or Lulu and Dante's baby. Dante remembers their encounter at the hospital and thinks it's about Britt's baby but Brad corrects him…it's about this baby. Before Lulu can worry more about his being there as the lab manager, Brad blurts out that it's not their baby – she's Maxie's. Lulu claims he's confused but Brad admits overhearing Spinelli telling Maxie how no one would ever know they are the baby's biological parents. Spinelli and Maxie try to make it out that Brad is lying – and Brad asks God to strike him dead if he is lying and leaves. Dante has reservations as everyone else tries to calm themselves. He stops Spinelli and Maxie from leaving and asks about Spinelli's argument with Ellie about the baby. Nik remembers Spinelli crying outside the baby's room and then leaves when he's cut off from Britt's call. Dante asks Olivia to take the baby and she leaves with Connie. Lulu thinks this is crazy but Dante's not convinced and decides they will stay there until they find out what Spinelli and Maxie is keeping from them. Lulu demands that Maxie tell them. Maxie wants to leave and forget this all happened. Lulu remembers all the times Maxie tried to tell her the truth and says, "Oh my God, she is your baby."

At GH, Sabrina catches Felix mooning over 'Brad the Cad' while he's eating the chocolate covered cherries. She lists all the reasons Brad shouldn't be the one. Felix agrees but is curious about Brad running off to do the right thing. It's just smoke and mirrors to Sabrina – Felix shouldn't trust Brad. Something isn't right, he can't figure why Britt chose Brad. He asks her about Carlos. Sabrina confirms he found her, and that he's her ex. Felix listens to her concerns about Patrick wearing his wedding ring – since Carlos mentioned it, she can't stop thinking about it. Brad interrupts, announcing he's the new 'King of Honesty' – he told Dante and Lulu the truth. Meanwhile, Patrick wants a second in private with Sabrina to talk about Robin.

At Wyndemere, Nik finds Britt passed out on the floor.

Tomorrow’s Port Charles spoilers for General Hospital:

Britt tells Nik her mother did this to her.

Sabrina wants to know what Patrick has to tell her about Robin.

Jerry has brought Robin a little incentive.

Alexis looks to Derek Wells for information on Julian Jerome.

    Dante gets angry with Maxie.

    Good bye Connie, hello Georgie.
Seemed like the perfect time for Maxie and Spin to speak up.

If Patrick takes off his ring just to make Sabrina happy it's
not for the right reason. He can't even mention Robin's name without crying.

Nice to see Jerry, Luke and Robin.

I've got news for Brad. That was not a selfless act you did.
It was totally self serving, since he is trying to impress Felix. Selfless is when you don't expect anything in return for your actions.

Holy Smokes! Things sure are moving along at at a rapid pace all of a sudden. Revelations everywhere! I'll try to keep up, but it looks like an action packed week.

Jerry? I thought Helena said Jerry wasn't in there, which proves (a) she was only a hallucination, and not some ghost, or the real deal, and (b) that she's a liar no matter what form she takes. I feel like I'm watching “Let's Make A Deal,” with Jerry as Monty Hall, and Luke dressed up like a zombie, trying to decide between what's behind Door #1, Door #2, or Door#3. It seems to me that if Luke had brought along backup, he'd have the upper hand right about now. Where's Laura? (I know she's in Paris, but that's pretty close, right?)

Robin's back. shocker. And just when Drake Jr. is finally ready to move on, too. Great timing for Robin as usual, especially if she's not going to stick around forever. If she does, fine. If she doesn't, how are they going to explain THAT to little Emma? Hasn't she been through enough?

I can't stand the way they practically torture children on this show, and now Baby Ben is gone. I knew he wouldn't get away with just being delivered by Sabrina in a castle and having breathing problems. Oh NO! Now they've got to kidnap him too. Nice.

Oblivia asks the important question, “Which baby?” but Brad apparently is only trying to do the right thing one baby at a time. You can tell he's not very good at it, but at least Dante and Nulu FINALLY heard the truth. Nulu was already in full denial mode...

Nulu: “He's making it up, RIGHT?”

… but I have to give Dante some credit for “going cop” on Spinelli and Maxie. Of course, it would be hard not to be suspicious, because if any two people ever looked more guilty, I can't imagine who it could be. I liked Dante's “Not so fast” line, and I was proud of the way he broke down what had just transpired. Then when Nulu went into flashback mode, and remembered all the subtle clues that she so easily dismissed, the horror of what Maxie has done became clear to her, and it showed all over her face. Now she knows what Oblivia's vision of Maxie stabbing her in the back meant. When the full extent, and the ramifications of Maxie's betrayal and treachery become clear, and they take that baby away from her, I'll bet Nulu has a breakdown. She's never been the most stable person in the world. One thing's for sure, Nulu will NEVER forgive Maxie for this, nor should she, and she's not the only one who will probably feel that way.

This is just he beginning of the end for Maxie's life as she previously knew it. It's all downhill from here as far as her reputation is concerned, but at least she and Spinelli will have their daughter, in spite of themselves. That's something that they (and we) will have to deal with from now on, looking themselves in the mirror knowing that if not for Brad of all people, someone else would be raising their child. How shameful that will feel for them, as they watch their daughter grow up knowing every day that they planned to give her away.

Of course having Robin back will be a load off of her conscience, so Maxie's future is not totally bleak. I hope it was all worth it for TPTB, because they've completely tarnished this character, and tainted the previously spotless and honorable Spinelli along with her, and those stains won't be coming off any time soon, or very easily.

    Speaking of important questions...

I chuckled at Felix's “Sperm Casablanca” reference, but at least someone questioned Britt's choice of donors. I agree with Felix; I don't see any of it either, but that could apply to about 75% of the show right now.

It's amazing how much different the show seemed today, without Frodd, Kinky, and Slimas. For some reason, it's almost like a completely different (cancelled) soap when they're on. Hmmmm.....

I am so glad that Connie's parentage is being questioned. But, I believe that Britt's baby will actually be Dante and Lulu's. I think that she impregnated herself with their embryo.

Honestly, I am still shocked and amazed that everyone still thinks Brad is the bio father of Britt's baby. Really? The baby looks NOTHING like Brad. The baby should have some Asian qualities, right?

Glad Brad told the truth about baby Connie, but I agree that it was not a selfless act on his part. He just wanted to score brownie points with Felix. IF he really wanted to prove to Felix he is a decent human being, he needs to fess up about Britt's baby.

I just don't like Patrick and Sabrina together and I hope Robin comes back to stay.

I am surprised that Carlos recognized Sabrina since she has been glammed up since he last saw her. I don't think that he mentioned that, did he?

connie111164....Carlos did mention Sabrina's hair and her lack of glasses. So, yes he did notice her new look.

    Hello everyone,

What a great episode! I feel like with the OLTL characters not on the show today, I'm actually watching General Hospital.

Gerry, thanks for the explaination and connection between you, Dr. O and Faison.

Today, I actually felt bad for Brit, and I can't believe I'm saying that, but I think that having "her son" gave her a human side and a softer side to Brit. I wonder what Dr. O did to make Brit pass out?

Wow! The truth is out, but I wish that Brad didn't tell Lante the truth, just so that he could do right by Felix. That was stupid. I do feel bad for Dante and Lulu, but I have a feeling that this conversation will continue until tomorrow. I'm glad that the light bulb finally went off in Lulu's head, and she realized that the baby is Maxie's. What I'm most disappointed though is in Spinelli and Maxie. I can understand that Spinelli may want Maxie to suffer, but to want to coward and run away from the truth, when he would have encouraged Maxie to confess all to Dante and Lulu is ridiculous. Spinelli was never the type of person who would want to make someone he loved suffer like that the way he is doing with Maxie, and I don't like that they're writing him this way. Maxie wanting to leave doesn't surprise me, because now that she is "in therapy for Dante and Lulu's baby," she knows that the truth won't come out, in her mind. Now that it has, it's going to be harder for her to just walk away. I'm glad that Dante told her that they weren't going to leave, until everything's out in the open.

Good show though, and I hope the acting was good by JMB, DZ, KS, BA, and the man playing Brad.

I'm so glad that Luke's back, and I'm also glad that Robin's back to.

With Patrick and Sabrina, I wish we could have seen more of their relationship, because I feel like when Robin comes back, it's just gonna be too easy for them to just let Patrick/Robin/Emma be a family, once she finally sees them. That is what I would want eventually, but it would have been nice to have Patrina be very sereous, making it a bit more complicated. Who knows. Maybe, it will happen, but I guess time will tell. I liked Patrina as a couple and it would have been nice if we didn't have to deal with their relationship being all about Brit, and just as things were getting good between them, Carlos had to show up.

I can understand Patrick wanting to move on with Sabrina, but feeling he's dishonoring Robin's memory, but come on guys! Don't put a couple in a relationship, only to teaz the fans who want to get invested in them. We'll see what happens, but the show was good today!

    *** spoiler alert***:

I read onday time dish that "Ben" gets kidnapped by Dr. O, and they find out that he has something in his blood that can cure Luke, and somehow, that's when they find out that Brit's baby is actually Lante's baby. Seems plausible to me, but who knows. They've surprised me with spoilers that never happened. Guess we'll see.

    Hi everyone
funny line of the day goes to Dr. O as she comments on the name Ben..that's a name of a rat..lol ( for those that are to young to remember Michael Jackson sang a song and there was a movie about a rat named Ben.
Wow so now Brad decides to come clean about Connie. Now he should come clean and admit he is not the father of Britt's baby. What a big baby mess and feel so bad for Lulu and Dante.
Welcome back Jerry and Robin. You have both been missed.

Soapfan1984 ~ A lot of what is on the daytime dish is a little bit of the correct information and a lot of supposition I have found.
