    Hi everyone,

After all the scheming and lying Britt did to trap Patrick into falling in love with her, now when she has the chance to make it up to him, step up and tell the truth she still continues to lie with the chance that Brad will once again cover her butt. I just cannot get onboard with this character and have no sympathy for her.
Lulu senses the truth behind all that she's heard and seen, so I wasn't surprised to see her use the Luke sympathy card to once again delay the truth from coming out. Spinelli was surprising to me as well. While I understand he's upset and confused by Maxie's intent to pass off their baby as Lulu and Dante's, I don't think giving up his own rights to Georgie is the way to make Maxie pay.
I'm bored with the Danny donor story, I'm happy he's going to be okay, but I need this story to be over and moving in other directions.

Casey, of course Britch is going to lie. It's her MO. I never expected her to be this humble and honest woman. She was mean to everyone except Patrick because she wanted to trap him into loving her.

The way I see it they are going to drag out the baby drama til the November sweeps.

You could also make a case that AJ's hard to explain, over the top anger which was misdirected at Connie of all people, was written merely for the sake of expediting and exploiting her exit from the show. I've never understood why AJ didn't simply march up the stairs to Tracy's room after he got the gun. Ava's too, except she wasn't home. Maybe Diane could make that point in court.

Diane looks great today, and so does Anna. Maybe Michael wouldn't want to get between them, but I sure wouldn't mind. Yowser!

    Moron was right!

There, I just wanted to say that for the record at least once. He was right about the gun, and he was right about Kinky being the Worst. Newlywed Bride. EVER! Even though he's still got a hostile attitude towards Michael, I can't blame him since his wife can't seem to keep away from her brother in law, and lies to his face about it. I hope when he gives Anna his statement, he doesn't forget to mention that Ava came by to grope him shortly before he found the gun.

Speaking of hostile, I very dissatisfied by the conclusion of Drake Jr.'s confrontation with The Britch,
and the way Nikolas' came to Britt's unnecessary rescue, channeling his inner Cassadine. I thought that scene was done all wrong.

First of all, Patrick had already let Britt go when Nik told him to take his hands off of her. I also thought it would've been much more symbolically dramatic if Nikolas has stepped between them, instead of standing behind a pregnant woman while calmly making threats. That scene should've been much more physical all around, with a furious Patrick manhandling a frightened Britt, and then Nik using his famed martial arts skills to shove Patrick against the wall, and THEN threaten him with permanent damage. Instead, they just delivered their lines like it was the first read through of the script.

When Patrick demanded that Britt identify the father of her baby, and told her to “Make me believe it,” I was shouting “NO! Make ME believe it” and she failed miserably on both counts. Britt was obviously lying about Brad. If she had succeeded in trapping Patrick, there's no way she would've risked losing everything by taking the chance that she wouldn't give birth to a flying monkey baby.

Sorry, not buying Britt's flunky (which is, of course, short for flying monkey) as the sperm donor, or as Felix's boyfriend. I FF'd through those scenes. Brad is a totally unlikeable person, and he should stay that way. I don't care why he acts the way he does, or why he is the way he is, and I don't want to see his smarmy pursuit of Felix pay off. I did enjoy seeing Drake Jr. punch him out like that, if for no other reason than to keep that from happening.

It was a cheap shot though, and a sucker punch of a much smaller man, so even though there's no doubt he deserved it, it was definitely a cowardly thing for Patrick to do. Still, I have to admit I liked it, because Brad, Maxie, and Britt, as well as a few others, need to learn that actions have consequences (which could be the theme for today's show), but by the same token, Drake Jr. could be in BIG trouble for assaulting a fellow employee in the hospital where they both work. Of course, these doctors, nurses, and lab techs get away with all kinds of stuff all the time, especially now, knowing that their boss Monica is out of the country, so I doubt if anything will come of it.

Aussie1 ~ Essentially yes they fired KS. They decided to not go forward with any story lines for her and wanted to put Sonny and Olivia together as a couple.

I'm still in shock over Spinelli's speech. What happened to all the righteous indignation? This is so far off the track as to be ludicrous.

Btw Dante and lulu are two of the most ungrateful idiots I've ever seen. The nerve to not go to Maxie the minute the baby was born for a huge tight hug and kisses was HORRIBLE! Then they learn of the breast feeding incident and instead of approaching it in a more understanding and compassionate way, they walk in and rip her apart and threatened her. Someone; maybe his mother, needs to ball them out. Such A-wholes!

lovesdogs, that shocks me about KS. Thanks for the info. I'm in disbelief as she is a fine actress. I wonder if she won an Emmy or was she even nominated this year.

bayou, everything is ludicrous about the show.

Patient, schmatient! Dr. Slimas was obviously running late because he was getting his hair styled, and everyone knows you just can't rush perfection.

Speaking of perfect, if Slimas ran that extensive battery of tests on Ick, he would almost certainly know by now that he's too perfect of a match to be anything other than a very close relative. I'll bet he's just waiting until after the donation procedure to confront Ick, to see if he's aware that he's almost certainly Danny's maternal grandfather, Sam's biological father, and Alexis' ONS/bad boy/baby daddy. He doesn't have to admit being “Julian” though. All they've got as “proof” on that is a Ouija Board and the hypnotically recalled memories of a drunken high school girl. He could dismiss that with a shrug of his shoulders.

That long anticipated first kiss between Sam and Slimas was not very hot. Maybe Patrick should've barged in before they locked lips, and punched SAM out.
