Scrimmage - you bring up a very good point re: 2 soap operas in one. Last week, I found myself watching GH like I did back in the old days; waiting to see what the characters would do next, guessing what's happening, etc. I know that soaps have teams of writers, and think that maybe we're all liking the team that does the Anna/Britt/Dr. OldBat s/l, but not the team that's doing the Morgan/Kiki/Michael s/l. Maybe TIIC at GH should start reading these boards (I've been saying this for years) so they could know what's working and what isn't.

    good morning,

the only reason i came on is confirm that the first rule in our rules on this board is being broken the the poster who consistently makes offhanded comments and implies wrongness or shamefulness on the sexuality of a writer. the first rule states this is wrong and not allowed yet he or she continues to do it.

but i won't turn her or him in because i don't do things like that. plus these boards are supposed to be monitored.

i saw your comment poodles; its not you poodles, i always love reading your posts and understand your views and appreciate them.

Everyone knows that I NEVER get carried away, or exaggerate anything just to make a point, BUT...

Maxie is the most insidious, dastardly, conniving, and effectively Evil Soap Vixen in the history of all Soaps. Not only did she keep the news that she lost their baby from Dante and Nulu, and now intends to pass off her Spixie baby on them in it's place, and not only is she also planning to keep Spinelli in the dark about the fact that he is a father, but now I can't get that damn “Goin' To The Chapel” song she sang for Mac and Felicia out of my head! Aaaaauuuuuuugggggghhhhhh! Please, make it stop! Maxie is EeeeeeeVilllll!!!!

But yes, it was STILL a million times better than anything Steven Lars ever did. Compared to him, Maxie is Mariah Carey.

Oh c'mon Scrimmage. Maxie's song wasn't THAT bad - well, maybe. At least it wasn't like after I got married, when the DJ at the club kept playing Me and Mrs. Jones (my married name is Jones) - like All Night Long!! And considering that it's Boring Dante and Lulu, maybe a Spixie baby is just what they need to brighten up our days. Just imagine Dante trying to understand the "logic" of a 13-year old Spixie teen. That's a whole soap opera of its own.

I kinda agree with the two shows in one theory. but I remember way back when I used to record the soaps on VHS. Monday Wednesday and Fridays was for the team A story lines and Tuesday Thursday was for team B or setting up the plot and when team A storyline was done team b became team A. I stopped recording shows on tuesday and Thursday. I was recording edge of night, ryans hope, AMC, OLTL and GH. I retired recently and back to watching GH. the soap I missed the most was the edge of night.

sfcom ~ I remember the old days with the A team story lines being Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the B team story lines on Tuesday and Thursday. Wish they could go back to that.
The Edge of Night and The Secret Storm were the first 2 soaps that I started watching.

sfcom.....When my granddaughter was born in '02 they gave her mom the epideral right after she had her first big pain & she had not dilated very much....her mom & I were watching the monitor & she was sleeping during her labor pains....we looked at each other & said this is just wrong..she needs to feel this...LOL! I do agree with you on the c-section, even though others don't seem to...if the baby is in ANY type of danger I say it's c-section time! My BFF's niece was born with the cord around her neck, blue & unresponsive...they were able to revive her but she has brain damage & will always have to live with her parents. Also the late Mr SouthGA #2 & his wife before me had a son stillborn due to the cord around the neck...when the baby is in any danger go for the c-section..heck...both my older stepdaughters had them with both kids & even got to schedule the date & time for child #2. I feel VERY passionate about this matter! Baby's safety 1st!

It makes NO SENCE to me that AJ is ok with Ava BUT wants to kill Connie!!! Connie didn't ruin either of their lives like they were saying...Ava should have never lied about who Kiki's daddy was & AJ should have checked out the claim.
Now it is going to be..poor little me, Connie & Tracy made me take that drink...
