Wow, Obrecht made it to PA super-fast! But it's a soap & sometimes you have to forgive these things. Richard Simmons was (again) very awkward and his calling Monica a tramp was about 30 years too late. I'm wondering if GH will keep him aboard to work at Lucy's new spa. I'm hoping not.

I'm dying to know who/what Luke will find. It seems cruel for producers to tease us with a Robin discovery & then not deliver. But does anyone else think that he will find Laura tied up? While searching for Luke, I bet Laura encountered Jerry! And I hope Sean will appear again. I liked his daughter, Anna, & hope she will come to PC.

I think Britt will go into labor in jail, so that there can be some kind of baby switch at the hospital when Maxie delivers hers. Good night, fellow GH fans!

I would like to think that Britt is smart enough to realize that her mother is in deep legal trouble and yet she would risk her own freedom by covering for her? Her mother has been pretty much nothing but a britch to her so she owes her nothing. As for Maxie going much longer with her pregnancy, I would like to point out that she got pregnant on New Year's Eve so she actually wouldn't be due until at least mid September. Britt's the one who seems like she's been pregnant forever. She showed up at the Nurse's ball in March and announced she was pregnant and she looked like she was already 5 months along yet she was considering an abortion. It seems to me that she should be the one having her baby already which I suspect will happen next week. I still think those babies are going to get switched. Thought the whole wedding fiasco with Richard Simmons was ridiculous and I'm still not sure why Mac couldn't have asked Patrick to be his best man which would have made more sense than Spinelli. Can't wait until next week as it looks like it's going to be action packed!

Well, you all put me straight about Emma being a tad too precocious and reminded me that she has been through a lot. I consider myself chastised, but it is precisely because she has suffered the early loss of her mother and only has adult companions that she needs to be around other children more. Instead, the smarmy Sabrina is smothering and spoiling her.

I was the one to make the first comment about Felicia wearing a white dress and veil at her third wedding. True, there is no dress code, at least I don't think so, but weddings and funerals are steeped in cultural tradition, and the white dress and veil in western society represents young and pure. I gag when I see so called celebrities who have starred in home made sex tapes, and have lived with a number of men, wearing full bridal regalia when they finally land a sucker. Back in the days of my youth, most marriages lasted for life and the only remarriages were widows or divorcees, and wearing the attire of a young bride was considered bad taste. Pregnant brides did not wear white. Second marriages in churches were small quiet affairs attended by the immediate family. Divorcees could not marry in church and parading to the registry office in full bridal attire would have been thought both ridiculous and the ultimate vulgarity. There were no wedding chapels then - you got married in church or the registry office which was as plain and functional as the room where you record official documents. Unless they were really well off, no one had the expensive big wedding you see today.

ttyou did say that a virgin bride is rare these days, which is true, not all girls have my mother, whose aim in life seemed to be protecting the virtue of her daughters, and sucessfully I might add, even from 13,000 miles away.

If Richard Simmons gets hired for Lucy Coe's new spa, I am outa here. Perhaps the appearance in Friday's episode was to test the reaction of viewers, in which case we all agree NO WAY. He can take his painted bald spot and whiney voice with him!

    OFF TOPIC:

bayoubtr, the difference in the old days was that the studios had their own PR people who carefully controlled access to the stars and made sure a positive image was projected. Now the stars hire their own PR people and don't have the weight of the studio behind them to control the paparazzi. I would agree that the Trashians seem to have told their PR to keep at least four items in the media every day, no matter how sleazy or ridiculous, but they have no shame.

    spoiler speculation

Whose in the basement. At first I thought it is Laura, but Ethan is also a good speculation. The one person I'm pretty sure it isn't is Robin. Of course if it is her, this will be my first time I've been wrong this year. Not lol.

    OT:

Thundering-- I think your string of 230+ days will remain intact!

    Rainey-- Thanks girlfriend!

Bayou thanks, now I just need to convince my family. I lose more bets when I am absolutely positively 100% sure.

Call me crazy, but I LOVE Patrina!!! I think they are really, really cute together. I haven't liked Britt since the beginning, and today I disliked her even more. The way she threatened Anna, irritated the crap out of me. I'd like to see Anna put her in her place. OH! And I hope she tells Patrick about it. I don't like Britt and I doubt my opinion will change anytime soon.

I'm also disliking the potential Solivia pairing. I think it was wrong of Olivia to go after Sonny knowing how Connie felt about him. People are getting upset with Michael for going after his brother's girl, but why is it okay for Olivia to go after Sonny?? Idk, I'm over Sonny and Olivia.

I thought the wedding was awesome and I didn't mind Richard Simmons. I think he's funny. But I like him in small doses. It's kind of how I feel about Lucy. The way she rambles kinda drives me crazy..

I don't want to see the fallout of Maxie's baby. I love Spixie and want to see them together.

Sorry it's kind of a scattered comment...

Connie/Olivia: Connie/Kate was not Sonny's first love, Olivia was. Sonny and Olivia had a fight and Sonny got with Olivia's cousin Kate, so Olivia was jealous and didn't want her son around the Mob and never told Sonny about Dante.

There shouldn't be a baby switch because Maxie is having a girl and the Britch is having a boy.

I loved Anna's no non sense, get in your face attitude with the Britch. I hope she's the one to take down the mother Vritch. Laura and Holly seem a little rusty...if it's Laura in the room.

Finally watched Friday's show and thought it was great!!

Mac and Felicia....YAY!!!! Finally married!!! I also like Lucy's haircut! Suits her very well! Doc Kevin has always been one of my fave characters and so glad he its on screen so often!

LINE OF THE DAY goes to Luke when he says to Holly holding Dr. Oldbat at gunpoint when he opens the mysterious door: "Don't let her talk you to death!" I laughed my head off!!! Still the great Spencer wit!!!

Loved Anna's interrogation of Britch! She really had that liar sweating!! Britch really thought Anna wouldn't arrest a pregnant woman? Lady...get a clue! If you're an accessory to allowing a person that's attempted murder to escape, you bet your life the police will arrest you!!!
