TipsyTess – Thanks for the kind words, but that's SIMPLE unfrozen caveman, not SINGLE. I mean, it's true either way, but you don't have to rub it in. (sniff)

I enjoy working gigsaw puzzles and I love it when the pieces fall in place and hate it when the pieces don't fit. Here you have a 40-something Julian being the older man who seduced 50-something Alexis when she was 16, and being the father of 30-something Sam. These pieces just don't fit. Why can't the casting department do a better job of casting the actor to fit the part. I'm hoping that Derick (Julian) is not the father of Sam. I think the writers can do better with the mystery that we have trying to solve for years.

    RE: Classic leading ladies.

I always likes the “dames with the snappy patter,” like Katherine Hepburn in “The Philadelphia Story,” and “Bringing Up Baby,” or Rosalind Russell in “His Girl Friday,” the best movie about a newspaper EVER! Coincidentally, all three films feature the ultimate leading man, Cary Grant, paired with these wonderful, unique actresses. Talk about star power!

    **************OFF TOPIC-MOVIES AND BASEBALL***********

Well I started to watch the game last night AND it is a game that only SCRIMMAGE & NOLAN RYAN would enjoy....THUS I ended up watching, instead of recording, the movie "Key Largo"....As we mentioned yesterday - what chemistry Bacall & Bogie had and it comes through loud and clear....TCM also mentioned that the studio wanted to take full advantage of the chemistry after "To have and to have not" making 4 movies together in the mid to late 40s.....

    **************OFF TOPIC-CONTINUED***************

It also put me in the mood to listen to some 40s music - man I love that style even though I grew up in the rock n' roll era.....
