    OT.....Lily....

You made a comment about TNT lady night when you were signing off and I wanted to add my adherent about the shows on TNT.

IMHO....the dramas onTNT have some of the best writing that I have seen in a long time! I watch several of the shows on TNT and they NEVER disappoint!! I watch PERCEPTION, RIZZOLI & ISLES and FRANKLIN & BASH at this point, and just might start watching a few more! The shows are very entertaining and the writing is TOP NOTCH!!

Are you still watching PERCEPTION? Last night's episode was EXCELLENT!!!

raineysmom - Last night's episode was excellent. I was amazed at the avatars' graphics phase into the characters. I really like R&I as well. I can't wait for White Collar to begin again on USA. Right now my favorite show is The News Room on HBO. Watching GH lately in comparison to these shows is like watching the Three Stooges and not being 5 years old.

Well, it IS okay if you're an adult whose husband or wife has been DEAD for quite awhile. Emma isn't being exposed to sex any more than she would've been if Robin was still around, and Patrick made it perfectly clear that it isn't Robin's bed anymore. All Emma's being exposed to is a relationship, and a healthy one at that. You make it sound as if she's listening through thin walls to her father banging a different hooker every night.

Yeah, let's look at Taylor. Her parents are nowhere to be found, and if they're even together, I'm assuming they're probably so uptight about the subject of sex that they never discussed it with either of their kids, which is why they either don't know, or are ignoring the fact that their son Felix is gay, and their daughter is screwing guys in cars and hanging out in bars. Felix is obviously uncomfortable talking about his sexuality with his parents, and Taylor acts like she has never been around a strong, healthy relationship, which is why she thinks it's all about sex. That's a message she likely picked up from the pop media culture, just like Emma will soon enough. I don't think the idea that her daddy has a girlfriend is going to send Emma down the road to perdition.

lily: A couple months ago Patrick was having sex with Britt and wanted her to get closer to Emma.

    Now it's Sabrina.
They have been a couple for what? A couple months? That's when things are usually hunkey-dory.

You think a kid wants to see their parent in bed with someone? I don't. WAY too soon for Patrick to have sleepovers with Sabrina, IMO.
Is it inconvenient for Patrick? Yep, too bad. His daughter should come first and seeing Sabrina in a black satin nighty and her father bare chested is totally inappropriate IMO.

Scrimmage - I agree. Rans - I do respect your moral compass on this, but is Emma being at home in her own bed any different than staying overnight with Great Uncle Mac and "Aunt" Felicia or Grandma Anna and Duke?

Here's my question - how can Franco be Danny's bone marrow doner when he has a brain tumor?

Posted by ransomha at Wednesday, July 24 2013 03:56 PM

lily hunter: YES, they are not her parents.

Would love to hear from mamajj or if runnergirl had any guys sleep over when her kids were home that they had been dating a couple months.

Mac and Felicia are engaged to be married and I doubt Anna would be having Duke spend the night if she had Emma.

rans - I do have to agree with you on one point you made. I would never have wanted to see my mother in black nighty and my father bare-chested in bed even if all they were doing was reading.

    lily: It's all good.
    Different strokes and all that.....
