Poodles--desperate times call for desperate measures. Evidently runnergirl is getting desperate if she would rather look at Katie or The Chew. However, after the Brad and Michael shiggady, I may join her.

To say that Felix and Britta's apartment needs work is putting it mildly. That fake brick wallpaper is just ghastly.

    Good morning

Scrimmage...With the ongoing board campaign to make you the head writer for GH, I have come up with some facts for you to consider if you're the right fit.
    1) Do you have the vision to carry s/l's for months ahead of time?
    2) Do you have the fortitude to withstand criticism while your vision of the story plays out? ( social media could chew you up and spit you back out)
Are you capable of thinking outside the box, offering controversial s/l's?
    4) Will you be able to change scripts on the fly to accommodate actors other projects, extended vacations, sickness, abrupt departures?
    5) Will you be able to offer an ensemble cast, that appeals to all age ranges, while showing no favoritism to any character or couple? Going against popular opinion?

I wholeheartedly would put my endorsement behind you if you're the right fit.

Casey1 – Actually, I thought I'd just follow the examples of the last few regimes. In other words, I'd tell everybody that I have a long-term vision for the show, when the truth is, I'd really be making it up as I go along. I would never plan ahead, instead preferring to scramble to adjust every time there's a change in the cast, which I would deal with by propping up my faves while putting characters I don't like on the back burner, and I'd only listen to people who tell me what a genius I am, all while earning a boatload of money. That's pretty close to what you said, right? So yeah, I'm ready. Bring it on!

Scrimmage's Ten Commandments for Writing GH:

    1. No small child will be placed in mortal danger (except of a general nature) to advance the plot, and teenagers will be relegated to minor, supporting roles or subplots not involving sex or substance abuse.

    2. No infant will be separated from their mother without her permission for longer than 24 hours.

    3. No child who cannot deliver dialog in a convincing manner will be asked to do so.

    4. More pets, fewer babies.

    5. No one comes back from the dead without a plausible explanation.

    6. No evil twins, split personalities, previously unknown brothers, sisters, sons or daughters, or other soap clichés that rarely happen in real life will be used as plot twists.

    7. Any evil plot will have a specific, and logical goal that could not be more easily accomplished in a less complicated way.

    8. Trials will be conducted in the manner of actual legal proceedings, with no emotional outbursts, or objections from people in the gallery, unless they are cited for contempt.

    9. Medical procedures will follow actual operating room protocols, personal conversations will NEVER occur in the OR, and no doctor will be permitted to treat a relative under any circumstances.

    10. Car, plane, train, or bus crashes, boat, hotel, warehouse, or car bomb explosions, and shoot-outs will be used sparingly, and the victims will never include extras whose only purpose for being on the show is to get killed, while regular cast members miraculously only suffer minor injuries.

Scrimmage.. It is often difficult to know how a post is going to be received, thank you for taking it as it was meant. I hoped that if unsure you would consider my comments on your posts and "scenes" as being sincere.
While I'm enjoying GH for the most part, I recognize that it could be improved. Having said that, if you're ready, I'm behind you and hope that your favourites are mine.

I think Anna is pretty immune to Sonny's "gifts". As is Diane. I really miss her as Sonny's "mouthpiece".

Although no one asked, I'm going to give you my opinion of what's going on 0r will be going on.

Danny's cancer is a plot device to get Sam's father to PC and get back together with Alexis. Her breakup with Shawn was pretty lame and while I'm glad they're not together anymore (no chemistry at all - Alexis had more chemistry with Jerry Jacks) they practically ruined Alexis by making her such a hypocrite about Sonny.

I also think they'e killing two birds with one stone by revealing that Kiki isn't FRanco's kid so she and Mikey can be together.

Third (spoiler alert) I think Patrick is going to find that Franco has a brain tumor and that was making him evil. That way they can rehabilitate Franco and make him more like Todd.
    Just my two cents.

    Hi Scrimmage
Count me in as one of your supporters. I liked your Ten Commandments especially # 4 - more pets - bring on our fur babies!
