Lily- I also laughed. Remember poor Michael having to sleep on the sofa for a year of his life. That was bad enough, lets now have Mama give it a go. The guy is sweet, but stupid.

I agree with you 100% that it seems as if RC and FV are writing this show in favor of RH and his character of Franco. It seems as if Franco might become the bone marrow for little Danny, which in turn will give him forgiveness from Sam, Alexis, and Michael. And make him the new hero of GH the show will pretty much revolve around him, which it is slowly doing, look how he just popped up at Monica’s house. But I do wonder how long RH will continue to work three shows, and if he does great on prime time, will he eventually leave GH and if so, what will the genius writers try to do then? I just want to see more of nutty Heather, Laura, and Lucy, after all, why bring these characters back if they are only going to waste these actor's talent for one showing a month.
But what is interesting is that Franco claims he didn’t know who attacked him, so if he holds this over Sonny’s head, then he hasn’t changed; he just isn’t going to use violence like the old Franco.
Now as for Maxie, she’s in love with that baby, so NuLu can forget about it. Anytime any woman picks out a name, game over. However, I still think that Britt is caring NuLu and Dante’s baby, and I’m hoping that she is, because this betrayal might be the end of NuLu’s and Maxie’s friendship.

I wish Maxie would have told Lulu the truth. Yes, it would hurt, but Lulu and Dante are a strong couple, they would get over it together. Maxie will never be able to give he baby up...It's a life changing experience.

In an effort to find SOMETHING positive to say about the show (and I DO enjoy it for the most part), I think the budding romance between Sonny and Oblivia has the potential to be the hottest pairing this show has seen in years. I would say that Nik and Britta could give them a run for their money, but that will have to wait until after she gives birth for it to be really steamy. What I like about Sonny and Oblivia is that they are acting like adults, who don't play coy games, or beat around the bush (if you'll pardon the expression) about sex. They both knew exactly what they were talking about when they discussed how close they came to taking things beyond a couple of kisses, and both of them are being perfectly clear that they're on board with getting busy as soon as they can be undisturbed by their various family members.

There's no denial of their feelings or any of the usual pulling back after a hot kiss, with somebody saying “We can't do this” like we see with Michael and Kinky. There's no “I can't do this to Connie” second guessing, just a matter of fact declaration that they aren't going to lie to her cousin once they cross that line. That's how adults deal with mature subjects. Sonny has never been into delayed gratification, and Oblivia has been waiting for three and a half decades to mix her sauce with Sonny's pasta again, and she sees no good reason to wait another day. I was very impressed that Sonny showed unusual consideration for Oblivia's health, since he was willing to at least postpone his pleasure until Oblivia's injury had healed. Her declaration that she has made a “miraculous recovery” might have been the sexiest medical report that I've ever heard.

This is SOOOO much more interesting than all of the Teen Drama, or the incest angst put together. That stuff is either skeevy or boring, or both.

Dang, and I was trying so hard to stay positive.

They'll bring back Steve Burton, but they'll probably over think it again and cast him as Franco instead of Jason. These guys think they're a lot more clever than they really are, probably because they surround themselves with people who only tell them what they want to hear, instead of saying “WTF are you THINKING??!!” when they come up with some of these “brilliant” ideas.

    ***off topic***

After Fromthestart's grassroots campaign gets me in the door, I'm preparing for my interview with the head of Daytime Programming for ABC, where I'll make my case for why I should be named Head Writer of General Hospital. I want to keep it brief and to the point. ahem...

Scrimmage (to the Head Honcho): “How much worse could it be?”

What do you guys think? Convincing?

Scrimmage-- You've seen the Guza & Wolfe regimes, what kind of time frame do you put on this one?

I think Olivia deciding to go with Sonny knowing her cousin Connie is still in love with him is wrong. Sonny plays a great mafia figure, but is one evil person. Shawn is a fool for being at his beck and call.

Looks like Sam and Dr. Clay will connect and Ava may attempt to kill Sam since that is what she does so well.

I still think the Britches baby is belongs to LuLu and Dante. Looks like her and Nicholas will connect. Maxie and Spinelli will get keep their baby if this is the csse.
