thank you to the poster who mentioned GH is on comcast on demand. going to watch two hours of GH. reading the recaps is good. but I like seeing the actors do their thing. the twinkle of the eye. a slight gesture.

on another note.... I always hate it when little ones are put in danger just for "story sake". I can forgive if the child is saved and lives. I never like it when they die. there should always be a miracle cure for the precious little ones.

Ladybelle – You're exactly right. It seems like the writers believe that if a child is too young to handle dialog as well as say, Emma, then all they're good for is to use as a prop to motivate the main characters into action.

It's always been this way. Carly used Michael as her excuse to justify almost every despicable thing she ever did. Look what Kristina went through, even before she was SORASED into Lexi Ainsworth. She was kidnapped (by AJ), and she was so traumatized when she witnessed her sister Sam shooting a killer, that she didn't speak for months. Even Lulu had a life threatening condition as soon as she was came into the world, Robin left a newborn Emma in a tree in a snowstorm, and Aiden was kidnapped and flown across the country before he was a day old. We all know Danny's story. I'll bet he can't wait for Maxie and Britt to have their babies so they can take the heat off of him for awhile.

The way the writers of this show have always treated children, and especially infants is unconscionable, and it does nothing to make the prospect of parenthood look very appealing. In my opinion, babies should be off limits to mortal danger of any kind for the first two years of their lives, then they can be SORASED if need be. That would still allow for the occasional baby switch and WTD stories, but they should NOT be the victims of life threatening conditions or deadly diseases, kidnappings, car/plane/train/bus/boat crashes, cave-ins, avalanches, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, mudslides, fires, explosions of any kind, or terrorist attacks, and they should NEVER be involuntarily separated from their mothers for longer than 24 hours.

The only time I've ever enjoyed seeing a baby in near constant peril was in the classic Coen Bros. movie “Raising Arizona,” and that baby was enjoying it even more than I was, like he was on some long, strange carnival ride with a bunch of freaks. I never worried one bit for that little guy. The “danger” was cartoonish and exciting, but not scary at all. If these writers were capable of using kids to achieve that level of comedic farce, I wouldn't complain about anything.

I’m furious that in desperation to give Franco a reason to walk and intertwine among the living in Port Charles, it appears that this regime will sacrifice precious Danny and by doing this, turnoff a coveted demographic- women 25-49. Hey, FV & RC, FYI, lots of us 25-49 year olds have infants, toddlers and young children, grandchildren. We see NO entertainment in watching young children being run over, much less dying at the hands of their grandfathers. We are well aware of diseases that can harm our most precious. We search the faces of our babies’ pediatricians for signs of concern when we ask about a bump, bite or rash that just appeared out of know where. We don’t need nor want to believe someone, doctor, lawyer or Indian chief can look at our child for 60 seconds or less and tell us he/she has cancer because we are so much smarted then you give us credit for, yes, we are smarter than you. You, who have a responsibility to provide continuity of storylines, while honoring the rich history of these characters. You can’t possibly be listening to us viewers, we get it, we hear you loud and clear, you don’t care. You don’t care that there are many who would like to see Laura restored to the strong, spunky resourceful women she once was. You don’t care that reuniting Robert & Anna would please many, that longtime and new viewers alike want to see adventure, romance, with talented actors that fit canvas, not misplaced, misconceived refuges. We get that you don’t care, just wondering if the advertisers do.

I really like NuLulu, I actually prefer her to old Lulu. I think they did an excellent job on recasting.

    ***OFF TOPIC***

LadyBelle- I’m so happy to see that you have checked in. Sorry to read that you haven’t been feeling well. I’m sending prayers and good wishes your way.

Akitas-Good Luck as you go into the home stretch with the job offer. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed, and look forward to a cyber-celebration.

    SPOILER**********RUMOR

Supposedly, Franco2 is not actual Franco1 but his twin who were given birth to by Heather, thus freeing up Kiki for Michael.

    Sam's dad to save Danny.

How then are Franco2 and Kiki related to Quartermaines through Heather?

    Come on and guess.............................................................................. />
    Answer to appear after guesses.

CLUE:Remeber Heather said that she knew something that the Quartermaines didn't know.

The new Lulu is terrific! Glad they didn't drag the amnesia storyline out too far.

soapfan1984 spot on with the Britt/Sabrina situation. LOVED it when Patrick asked her out on front of the Britch.Well played, Dr. Handsome, well played.

Like Taylor so far. Pretty sure they're all the same age. I googled and the actor playing TJ is 19 or 20 and the actress playing Felix's sis is 16. Two good actors just in time for teen summer storylines.
