    ********************RETURNING SOAPS************

I don't know if you have Hulu or Hulu Plus - maybe Itunes...??

But, it looks like a "new" JR will be in place. Petey will FINALLY return to action and some other newbies too. It looks like Dr Martin may have a new wife (actress) and of course Dixie, Adam, Brooke, David, Angie and many of the originals will be back.

If your definition of Maxie “helping Dante and Lulu” is to lie to them about the fact that their biological child did not survive, and to dump her own unwanted offspring on them to raise in its place, so that Maxie won't have to bother with being a mother, then I would agree with you.

I am convinced that her main motivation is to somehow fulfill her promise to Dante and Lulu to provide them with a baby, so that their worst fears about choosing her as a surrogate won't be realized, and so that her reputation won't be damaged. Maxie will go to any lengths to avoid having to raise her own child, which is apparently not even a consideration for her, and to spare HERSELF the pain and humiliation of telling everyone that she lived down to their worst expectations. With a friend like Maxie, who needs enemies?

What Maxie's trying to pull isn't just your basic “WTD?” storyline. It's much worse than any of those you mentioned because it's not only a matter of a mother lying about who her baby's father is, but also about who its MOTHER is as well. Maxie's evil plan also includes elements of a baby swap, ala Heather and Todd's universally reviled crimes against Sam and Danny, as well as similarities to past stories where a mother abandons an unwanted, or an inconvenient child.

So while it may be hyperbole to call Maxie's scheme “the most heinous plot in the history of GH,” I think that's a fairly accurate description because of the relationship between the schemer and her victims. Most evil plots are committed by bad people plotting revenge against their enemies, the good guys. This time, the “villain” in question is a beloved, popular character whose victims are some of the people who love her the most. It's unforgivable.

You're right, I'm not. That's because it's too late. Even if she tells Dante, Lulu, and Spinelli the whole truth tomorrow, she is still guilty of lying to them for months, and PLANNING to deceive them about the most important thing possible. Whether she gets caught, or if she changes her mind, won't change the fact that she kept the knowledge of the miscarriage of Dante and Lulu's baby to herself, and that she never intended to let Spinelli know he was going to be a father. It won't change the fact that she planned to let Dante and Lulu raise Spinelli's child as their own, and to keep the truth from her best friend and the man she loves for the rest of their lives. Even if her plan is exposed and fails, how could anyone, especially Lulu and Spinelli, ever trust or even look at Maxie the same way they did before?

I hope I'm wrong, but I believe it's already too late to save Maxie's relationship with her best friends, or to salvage her reputation, no matter what happens from here on out.

I am going to present another theory on Whose Baby Is This.
What if Britt took the remaining embryo of Lante's and had it implanted it in herself. When Maxie came to her on New Years Eve, she misread the tests on Maxie and told her she miscarried. So when Maxie came to her and wanted her to implant the remaining embryo, she had to make up a story that would cover her butt. So Maxie never miscarried, and Britt was able to play on her insecurities and told her she got pregnant the old fashioned way with Spinelli. She then had a hold on Maxie to keep her in line.

    ****************OFF TOPIC-DEBATE GRADING*************

Just for everyone's information - in my debate classes in High School I usually scored somewhere between a C and in reality you are doing pretty good...The lower grades normally resulted from debates where my opponent was a girl (go figure).

I haven't read all the comments but was curious about the timelines in Friday's episode. Maxie is late for work while Sabina is waiting to have a dinner date with Patrick. Is that really possible

From-- In my debate class we were always told to stay "on topic". Have you found that earring yet??? That was your first challenge of the day, right?
