    ***************OFF TOPIC - KENTUCKY DERBY*************

You're making Palace Malice more and more intriguing...His Sire - Curlin was always one of my favorite thoroughbreds regardless of whether he won or not.....He was just an EXCELLENT, solid racehorse...

I agree about the sparks between sonny and the twins but I believe there could be flames between sonny and olivia. They were a couple first, have a son and she is tough which he needs cuz every time he gets crazy olivia can bring him back to reality. I really want to see them together.

    Scrimmage...Enjoyed your post. Excellent points.

Ransomha...Felix has Britt's number and he is correct about how she's going to play this to lure Patrick in. I have less sympathy for her now, than I did before the revelations about her parents and her upbringing. As far as Felix referring to the baby as a monster, we have yet to find out if that baby is really Patrick's or some fancy maneuvering on Dr. O's part.

From the size of the Britch's baby bump, she looks like it would be a little late for a pregnancy termination, so I'm on team She's Bluffing, having been coached by the good Frau and her "papa" Faison. He's failed so many times to take Anna for his own, that now his only hope is to replace her daughter with his and make Patrick and Emma's life miserable.

Oh, I forgot to add, that I don't understand why Tracy would try to launch the return of Pickle Lila from Kelley's. Hasn't she heard of Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, or the Leonard's farm market franchise? Considering Kroger now owns a great percentage of the grocery stores in the US that would be a great outlet.

Casey1: Felix needs to mind his own business. Calling ANY baby is MONSTER is wrong IMO.
Patrick is so weak and Sabrina so stupid that they need Felix to mouth off to Britt to "protect" them? Pleeezzzeee

I can't help but feel sorry for someone that is totally alone in this world, has never been shown love and is desperate enough to want her mother to stay.

BUT, i'm not trying to change anyones mind! We like who we like.
Britt makes Patrick a little bit interesting. Sabrina makes his look like an aged high schooler. TO ME.

rans - I have to agree with you about Patrick and Sabrina - I've been annoyed by their SL for months, but I don't think that Britt is mother material for exactly the same reasons you stated. She would need some therapy and parenting classes before I would trust her with a child.

Ransomha...Who minds their own business in PC? That is the root of many problems on this soap or any soap for that matter.

Posted by ransomha at Tuesday, April 16 2013 03:28 PM

lily: classes would be good! But, very few of the female characters are mother material.
Carly, Monica, Felicia, most of them really.....

Who thought as Sam watched Jake get kidnaped that she would turn into a loving mom? How could she risk the man she loved , child? That IMO was WAY more dangerous then Britt's verbal attack on Emma.

I think if Patrick showed some compassion, Britt would eat it up and distance herself from her mother and we'd see a new woman.

I'm just saying, Britt is going through great lengths to find love. To be loved.

bayou & poodles - Here's the recipe for the beer cheese. It's easy to make, healthy it's not, but it's a great treat.

    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1/2 c. finely chopped celery
    1/2 c. flour
    1 T. dry mustard
    1 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 tsp. garlie
    5 c. chicken broth
10 oz. Velveeta, cubed into 1/2 pieces
    6-12 oz. beer
    Salt and pepper to taste
Melt butter, add onion. Add flour and dry mustard and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add chicken stock and beer and heat thoroughly. Add cheese and cook until melted and soup is consistency you desire. Season to taste. I used a few drops of hot sauce and dropped some croutons into the soup.
