    Happy Hump Day erroneous........

Sounds like a good episode w/ Jax & Brenda but I have no interest testing my gag reflex seeing Lizzzzzz on my screen.

Audrey doesn't know the half of the things her grand-daughter has done in her absence. And where are Lizzzzzzz's kids? Is she ignoring them yet again?

So Jax & Brenda are engaged? Wow! I didn't see that coming. I hope they stick around for a while.

All the scenes at the hospital were beautifully written, very sentimental and well acted. Taken in concert with the 50 hour Marathon on SoapNet, it was the perfect way to pay tribute to the longevity of this remarkable show, and to acknowledge all those who came before, whose contributions made it possible for General Hospital to endure for half a century. Because of the Marathon, there was no need to try to cram fifty years of flashbacks into this one episode. Instead, the ones they chose were quick, and spoke volumes, and there was time to reflect on not only the history, but the legacy of the show, and how in the end, actors may come and go, but the story never ends. What a perfectly beautiful way to describe this unique art form we call a soap opera.

My favorite part was Steve and Audrey dancing back when it all began, when he looked at her and asked “How am I doing?”

I'd say he did just fine.

Congratulations on your 50th Anniversary, General Hospital. Thanks for all the memories, and for those to come.

It is good to see Natalia Livingston back as Emily

Thought of watching with my mother and sister as a little girl throughout the entire show, It was really wonderful and this is why I love my GH.

Liz is a veteran and this episode highlighted her involvement in the core of the show. So many wasted years when she was barely shown.

Too bad AJ is still banished to his room by his mommy. I guess she didn't think he could come out for a minute and see his father.
Tracey and Monica wasted so much time squabbling instead of smooching up Alan. Loved the scene .

Wonderful to see Ethan, Jax and Brenda.

Ransomha..Emily said she was going to see Nicholas, so I'm hoping Alan visits with AJ and gives him some encouraging words. I don't know who else Rick might visit. The only problem is,only Monica and Tracy ate the relish, what are the others going to blame the visions on.

Casey1: I hope Monica LETS AJ see his dad. Last we saw, she had sent him to his room.

I did hear Emily say she was going to see Nic. Hope Liz is visiting when she does.

    Loved Liz and Gram.

Now, did they leave a 1-800 number for that relish?

    What a great show today!!!!

Loved the mini-history of GH and Steve Hardy. Going back to the anniversary dance was sweet. And Patrick gave credit where it was due-to the nurses and especially Epiphany.

Tracy, Monica and the ghosts from their past made me laugh. I agree with all the others. CR was almost unrecognizable as Rick. Still love Alan and Emily-glad she is going to see Nik. Even with that awkard hug at the end, I don't think this truce will last between Monica and Tracy either. I am waiting for Monica to let AJ out of his room.

Was great seeing Jax again-Brenda not so much. Not surprised they are engaged. On the other hand, maybe he cured her of her long sleeved nose wipes.

If Luke and Laura thought they could get the best of Helena, they are slipping. Guess Dante can't come to the rescue again. I really hope Ethan sticks around. I always liked him.

I agree with Scrimmage... SNIFF. What a touching tribute to Steve Hardy and I too loved the old dance scene. Was so happy to see Emily. I like Scrimmage love being surprised so she was a welcoming one. Keep them coming and Happy 50th Anniversary GH!

    Hello everyone,

Well, Mayzo, you were right. It was brenda. I knew that it was either Brenda, or thought that it was Kate/Connie possibly coming back, but with all the returns, I knew it could possibly be Brenda. wasn't surprised to find out that she and Jax are engaged. Poor Sonny and Carly. I'm hoping though that eventually, Jax and Carly will get back together. I really did like them as a couple. Their conversation was bittersweet.

What a nice surprise to see Emily's ghoast! I wonder if Elizabeth will get the pleasure of seeing her ghoast? I think she could use a little talk with her best friend. I was shocked to see Rick though in that sequence of events. It was nice to see everyone getting along though, but of course, it will only be because the goasts are there, and because Monica and Tracy know that they're all ghoasts. If they were all alive, this wouldn't be happening, and we wouldn't get to see a rair scene with tracy and Monica hugging and agreeing to let bygones be bygones, as Alan and Rick have. Never the less, the scenes were nice though.

Wow, so Lucky's doing humanatarian work in Africa? He's really Luke's son. It's too bad that in his travels, as he's "finding himself", he couldn't stop and pay a visit to his sons, or even try to find Lulu with luke and Laura. I found those scenes to be a bit flat though. It was interesting to hear Helena tell Laura that she has to shoot Ethan. I wonder what that's all about.

Over all, it was a good show. It was lovely to hear them all mentioning Steve Hardy, and his contributions to General Hospital. Great job RC! Makes me sad when this all ends, because I'm not sure what will happen after this is all over.

Hope everyone's doing well today, and will post as I read comments, and on tomorrow's GH!
