Spoiler talk from General Hospital Happenings:

"GH celebrates its 50th Anniversary with the Nurse's Ball and an Epic Adventure

According to TV Guide, the actual performances at the red-carpet soiree otherwise known as the Nurse's Ball, will take place on April 5th, 8th, and 9th as part of GH's 50th anniversary celebration. As expected, Rick Springfield (as Dr. Noah Drake) will be rocking out to "Jessie's Girl", Frisco will be trying to woo Felicia, and Anna will be with Duke.

Richard Simmons will serve as the ball's pushy choreographer, and Sabrina will finally transform into a beautiful swan. Lucy Coe once again will emcee, juggling 13 gown changes. That is just tiny a taste of all that will be going on at the ball. Expect highly entertaining performances and several surprises.

Meanwhile, Luke and Laura will be hopping aboard a helicopter in search of Lulu--a hot pursuit that will lead them to Helena Cassadine (and possibly a hint of someone else?). Explains Ron Carlivati, "We couldn't celebrate GH's 50th without another epic Luke and Laura adventure. They're no longer a couple, and may never again be a couple, but their love for each other--like GH itself--is still going strong."

On a related note, ABC has issued a press release announcing that: ABC has joined forces with amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, in celebration of General Hospital’s 50th Anniversary with an exciting storyline integration. Approaching 50 historic years on ABC on April 1 and to help mark the show’s Golden Anniversary, General Hospital will reprise the immensely popular Nurses Ball, a fictional charity event complete with musical performances from the illustrious citizens of Port Charles dedicated to HIV/AIDS awareness.

The partnership with amfAR marks the first time that the Nurses Ball will be linked to a non-fictional charity, and helps to continue amfAR’s vastly important mission of raising HIV/AIDS awareness. The inaugural Nurses Ball aired in 1994 and became an annual event until 2001.

General Hospital is proud to be working with amfAR as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary,” said Executive Producer Frank Valentini. “We have pulled out all the stops to make the return of the Nurses Ball an event worth waiting for, and by linking the ball to amfAR we partner in their efforts to raise awareness beyond the town of Port Charles.”

amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, is one of the world’s leading nonprofit organizations dedicated to the support of AIDS research, HIV prevention, treatment education and the advocacy of sound AIDS-related public policy."

Thank you all for the good vibes and prayers. Things are happening very quickly now. I talked to the cancer care alliance in Seattle already and they are going to look over everything and get back to me tomorrow about an appointment.

4ever-I didn't find that comment at all offensive or callous. My doctor knew exactly what was going through my mind about the worst possible outcomes. Now that things are progressing, I seem to be calming down a little because it is out of my hands now. Whatever they recommend is what I will be doing.

Prayers for your hubs and his scan.

Just read the recaps so I will watch the show and post later.

    Spoiler Talk:

lily, I've noticed that too. Even at OLTL, the couples all got together at the very end or near the finale.

Scrimmage..I figured out how they will catch up as we were one day behind. Tomorrow is a Stat holiday...Good Friday and I see they are airing GH..not a rerun. So we will be caught up and as Monday well is an off holiday..Easter Monday but also April fools day that is why they don't want the ball on that day. Next week should be just as exciting as this week. Looking forward to Luke and Laura's adventure. Dante will tag along right?
