bayou - I guess the lonely man doesn't have the money for any kind of research.

Casey1 – I think Luke, Tracy, and Anna are capable of scenes of that quality. Definitely Kelly Sullivan as Kate or Connie, as we can see by her consistently outstanding work almost every day. Carly can occasionally raise her game when it's called for, and when she's not made stupid by love, and the same goes for Alexis. Patrick has good emotional range, but his performances are not as layered and nuanced as someone like Luke or Todd. Like McBat, Patrick is more your typical leading man type. I actually think McBat is a much more accomplished actor than what we've seen from him so far. We've only seen brief glimpses of his wicked and very dry sense of humor. It usually only seems to come out around Todd, which is another sign of a superior actor. People like Luke and Todd can elevate the performances of the people around them, just like one superior athlete can inspire his whole team play at their very best. I also think Epiphany is capable of doing a LOT more than they allow her to do. I agree with the poster who said it's ridiculous that her character isn't further developed.

    Shallow fashion and hair comments:

Ladies, I'm just a simple, unfrozen caveman so you'll have to tell me if I'm right, but my mother was a hairdresser, and it looks to me that Carly's hair was cut with a razor (not hedge clippers – LOL!), which is the wrong thing to do with thick, unruly hair like hers. Instead of the layers laying down and blending smoothly together, Carly's hair is sticking out all over and looks like so much broken straw. I can see what they're trying to do, and it's a good idea, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. In fact, I'm in favor of the execution of the hair stylist on this show.

As for Oblivia's dress, I thought it was a little overly formal for the venue, but a woman should wear what she wants when she gets married for the first time. I thought it was fine, but with a figure like that, she usually looks good in anything anyway. I guess she can hang that dress up with Kate's blood soaked gown from her own near wedding, which is probably right next to the one Connie wore when she stood up Sonny at the altar. The real tragedy is, Maxie's reputation as a wedding planner is going down the tubes fast!

Rans I agree. What happened to LW (Carly's) hair? It didn't look this bad when she first did it. It wasn't cut or should I say hacked off this short and

Bayou and I do agree a little bit of Sabrina goes a long way.

    ***slightly off topic***

Speaking of acting, does anybody else think that Sabrina would be the perfect choice to play Jodi Arias in the inevitable TV movie? I'm not following the trial, but I saw her picture and was struck by the resemblance.

Scrimmage - I think LW's hair is in transition, or it's a new style the young women are wearing these days.

Nite everyone - I'm off to watch White Collar. I like a well-written twisted treasure hunt.

I had to laugh at Sabrina's storyline. Student nurses don't work all day at the hospital and they don't report to doctors. They don't file. They don't take nursing exams at the hospital. Their nursing license exams are given by their State Board of Nursing, not Ephiphany. Too funny. Guess Cartini didn't bother to research that to give a little credence to the storyline.

Lily hunter - If by "transition" you mean "shock" I completely agree with you.

Lizard1977 – That's right! This is GH! It's their world, and they can do whatever they like, by golly. I mean, C'MON! They're giving us vampires and you think they're going to worry about how nurses REALLY get certified? It reminds me of when Emily went almost entirely through med school from behind the nurses station. Somehow, she was almost a doctor before they knocked her off, yet we never saw her attend classes or serve internships like one would expect, but she had plenty of time to fool around with Nikolas and, in the Worst. Pairing. EVER! OF ALL TIME!!! Sonny.
