    OT:

4ever-- Please stay safe & warm!

Todd is on a roll. Every thing he said today was laugh out loud funny. The truth is, logic isn't really on anybody's side in any of this, so as Anna said, the more implausible a story, the more likely it's true, because who would make up such a ludicrous story? That's a sad commentary on the writing if you ask me.

Luke, Laura, Scotty, Anna, Duke, Frisco, Felicia... it's like a time warp, not that I'm complaining.

Hmmm, the last time we saw Kate, she had just learned that Le Douche was her son. She's got a lot of catching up to do. I miss Connie, but I suppose this is the only way to clear Connie of the charges pending against her. I DO love seeing Sonny squirm, trying to talk his way out of being in trouble for cheating on a woman by sleeping with her. Just seeing his brain go into overload was a whole weeks worth of entertainment for me. I just love it when he doesn't get what he wants.

Scotty's like a mangy dog that followed Laura home one day, and wouldn't leave. After all this time, she's gotten used to him, and loves him in a way (why I'll never know), but it's more that she feels comfortable around him, and he makes her laugh, than any great romance.

OT 4ever - I hope you and the hubs are snuggled up by a warm fire and don't have to go out in the weather.

Scrimmage - I think you hit on the reason that Laura would consider marrying Scotty again. He went with her to Paris to get her settled in and never left. I guess Laura is ready to trade passion for a partner who won't leave even when asked. Of course, now that Scotty is back in PC, it won't be long until he becomes as hapless as Todd and backs into some kind of trouble.

    4ever:
Richard simmons was one of the interns?? way back when the show was in black and white. He was really OVER WEIGHT maybe that is why he became an exercise-diet guru.

bayou-your comment about oily people had me rolling on the floor.

4ever-I remember Lee Baldwin-wasn't his wife's name Gail???
Anyway, Scott is definitely not a chip off the old block-more like a throwback from way back when. I agree-I think there is something not quite kosher with he and Laura. After all he has done, why would she even get within 10 feet of him?

Poor Sonny-as I said yesterday, he can't win for losing. Enough said.

I wonder if Steve will finally believe Oblivia and her visions when he croaks for real. I'm sorry, but he is such a non-essential for the show.

Frankly, I was surprised that Todd didn't feed McBat a line of bull today but I'm glad he didn't. Considering how long he has been in jail, there should be no doubt that he has a lookalike. As for Caleb, Sam and Danny, I am betting they are at Wyndemere. Wouldn't be a surprise if Heather and or Helena slunk out of the woodwork either.

Hi aussie, tipsy, rans, 4my, 4ever, tt, TX, dubbs, straight, enad, FUBU, been, bean, blessed, willow, lily, unicorn, slades, from, midas, mayzo, maja, bayou, dex, raineys, southGAgirl, mamajj, canadagirl, cowboys, scrimmage and anyone I missed.

McBat keeps dismissing the vampire angle, but that would mean that Lucy is truly nuts, and so was Allison. How can Lucy be right about everything else so far, but wrong about the most essential part? I get headaches trying to make sense of this mess, or trying to understand where they're going. I don't think THEY even know how they're going to resolve all the problems in this convoluted, slapped together storyline.

The award for the LINE OF THE DAY goes to Todd, who had a slew of candidates today. I'll settle for his response to McBat's contention that the person committing these crimes is someone “who looks exactly like me.”

    Todd (skeptically): “Even the hair?”

He's right. What are the odds?

Richard Simmons played himself and taught an exercise class at the Campus Disco 1980. Usually featured the nurses from the hospital. You can find video clips on youtube.
