bayou - The character Frisco Jones knows one women in PC that he'll take any order from - Anna.

When Jack Wagner was on Dancing With The Stars he talked about how his daughter who was 23 found him. Someone he slept with in the 80's called him up and said she was pregnant and was giving the baby up for adoption. When his daughter Carrie was an adult she went looking for her biological parents and tracked Jack down at a concert he did with Rick Springfield. I think this in 2011.

poodles - If you made the mache paste from water based glue, such as Elmer's basic, then warm water and shampoo will take it out, even in very curly hair. It's a water-based paste.

Lily-- So true, but Anna will need to up her game.

bayou - Well she's one vamp down, so Frisco would fit nicely back into the PCPD, after all Robert was his mentor, but he still worked for Anna.

Lily-- Can you see the sparks flying if you get Frisco, McBain, AND Dante in the same room? Way too much testosterone.

bayou - Isn't that what the show has been missing?

It's not that the vampire storyline is far fetched or outlandish that I find so objectionable, we've seen a lot of that before. Faison was a ridiculous figure, whose years long, so-called "Master Plan" included:

Kidnapping Robin, and faking her death,

Getting Duke out of a Turkish prison and learning to impersonate him perfectly, mask and all.

Hiring Jerry Jacks to poison the water supply and everyone in Port Charles (except Alexis and Joss) to get the money to cure his OWN poisoning...

...who in turn hired Joe Scummy Jr. to help him poison the water, and to help Faison steal Sonny's money by shooting and blackmailing Bernie into putting Sonny's assets into his daughter's name so that after Scummy and Connie's son, Trey Le Douche conned Nuke into marrying him, Scummy would kill her, leaving Trey to inherit everything, and then turn it over to “Duke,” but Trey screwed up Nuke's murder, and Bernie was about to talk, causing Duke to send Scummy to kill him, which led to the deaths of Bernie, Scummy, and Jason at the hands of Faison, who had...

...shown up as on Anna's doorstep as Duke Lavatory, in an attempt to win her eternal love – the ULTIMATE GOAL of this whole thing! - by reuniting her with her presumed dead daughter, Robin, who...

...ruined that plan when she quickly saw through Faison's disguise, rendering the major part of his plot useless, and when suspicions about his true identity were increasing (thanks to Oblivia), he was forced to expose both himself and Duke simultaneously to protect his secret, but he was foiled by a pot of hot fondue!

Is that the plan of a MASTERMIND? No! Does that make any sense at all? Of course not.

What these writers do best are personal relationships and sparkling dialog, but these people don't write complicated stories very well. If they did, they wouldn't be in Daytime TV.

Faison and his rubber Duke mask was as unrealistic as any vampire, but the difference now is that this vampire storyline requires some kind of connection with the events on “Port Charles,” which by itself wouldn't be so bad except that in fact there was very little crossover and even less acknowledgement of events between the two shows even back then, and two of the principals involved, Caleb and Livvy, were played by the actors who now portray two completely different characters, Sam and McBat, whose backstories mean that they cannot possibly be one and the same.

It was a completely different show, but now they are literally blurring the lines, and it's turned GH into a mess as twisted as Oblivia's pasta. Sam and Livvy should not exist in the same universe, and neither should McBat and Caleb. After all, none of the citizens of PC seem to remember or ever talk about being infested with vampires a few years back, and they certainly don't know anything about Lucy ever being a Slayer, so unless they're going with the idea of “twin evil vampire twins” or something equally ridiculous, this storyline is causing a huge disconnect in the continuity of General Hospital, and that's probably why so many people like me find it confusing and completely unnecessary. I keep asking myself "What is the point of making everything so complicated?"

But I guess I shouldn't be the one to complain about THAT!

Bayou - Besides, Anna used to be the queen of handling the you said, it's time she got back into the game.

lovesdogs ; so, so sorry to hear about Annie. We just lost our 22 year old Himalayan cat about a year ago and we are still missing poor old Lord Basil Plushbottom.

This came to me as I was reading your post, I hope you don't mind.

    It wasn't pleasant this morning
We lost a sweet old friend.
And as with pets we dearly love
No one ever wants the end.

Today she sleeps in painless rest,
Where skies are blue and sunny.
    She chases all the butterflies
    Her floppy ears all funny.

She sees your tears across the space
She feels the love still there.
She says, "I'll wait until you come.
And oh the joy we'll share".

    Love, fun and bubble gum
