    **************OFF TOPIC-SUPER BOWL COMMERCIALS**********

One of the many people we were watching with was one of my sons-in-law (AND AN AVID 49ER FAN)...His response to the Joe Montana commercial - I would "do" her in....I don't think he was serious.

With the exception of the Cowboys-Redskins game this past thanksgiving, I don't watch football ever. But I was invited to a Super Bowl party and decided to go. Being a Cali resident I rooted for the 49ers and feel they should've won the game. I was surprised at how easy it is to get caught up in the excitement, but I think my heart stopped a few times. I don't think I could ever really follow football as I get upset when the team I'm rooting for doesn't win. Seriously how do you all do it everyweek??

    (To be continued)

    **OT Post Continued**

I very much disliked the half time show. I thought Beyonce looked trashy and didn't put on as a great a show as many on Twitter are saying.

I really liked the Taco Bell commercial. Thought it was hilarious.

    ***************OFF TOPIC-FOOTBALL**************

We who are Cardinal fans (yes there are some) are use to a team losing MOST of the time so there is not that much suspense. If they should win, however, we feel we should go out and buy a lottery ticket that day.

    **********OFF TOPIC-SUPER BOWL AFTERMATH **************

Here's the part I have NEVER understood about major sporting events (and I am a HUGE sports fan)...25 people arrested in San Francisco because of their loss. Some happy fans in Baltimore causing damage to TV news van, etc.........

This is NOT just a USA thing either. In fact it was mild compared to the outcomes of Soccer games in other countries, for example......Either way I just don't get it.

For someone who has experienced 3 hurricanes in 7 years involving power outages from 4-8 days, 34 minutes of a "partial" eclipse was just a blip on the radar. I totally enjoyed the game & the great commercials!!!

    **************SUPERBOWL COMMERCIAL*************

To tell you the truth the "Go-Daddy" commercial with the super model and nerd started me "squirming" around in my chair and feeling a little uncomfortable....

Hey Monkey! I get very upset during any game that one of my teams is playing in about losses, bad calls, interceptions, etc....It is a VERY EMOTIONAL Sport for it's fans!!! Believe me I was very mad & upset when my Packers & then my Falcons lost in the playoffs!!!! But I can't help it...I LOVE FOOTBALL!!! Don't know what I'm going to do untill the next season starts! I really don't follow any other sports except Nascar...just can't watch hockey (even though I love the game)on tv...but let me be at the rink & OMG I go crazy over our local team!!!! Baseball & Basketball I have to be at the games too....I can tolerate tennis on tv BUT no one else in my house watches it nor do I believe they understand it...I do also like beach volleyball but mainly only get to see it in the olympics...Hope you are having a good day & school is going well!

    *************OFF TOPIC***********

The super model probably got millions - the "nerd" may have done it for free......

With all the excitement about the Super Bowl, I don't know if anybody read my post on page 28 with a statement from Prospect Park on the status of the 3 OLTL actors. It was released Saturday after statements that the actors would have to cease appearing on GH. It sounded hopeful that they will work it out
Congratulations to the RAVENS and all their fans and condolances to all the FORTYNINER fans.
