Lily Hunter, Annie is day to day. This morning she was not doing so well but this afternoon she was much perkier and are a good dinner. She is slowly gaining weight, at least she isn't losing it like she was. She really loves the organic chicken broth and I found that she will eat better if I put a good amount in her food.

Hmm. I guess this means Felix is gay. Shocker.

It would REALLY be stereotype bending if Milo had turned Felix's offer of a drink down, saying, “Sorry Felix. No offense, but I'm not gay.” And then Felix could've said “Gay? What makes you think that I'm GAY? Just because I'm a nurse who sells makeup part time doesn't mean I'm GAY! Dude, who walked in here with two hotties, anyway? And you think I'M gay?”

I'm usually very skeptical about the way things sometimes happen on this show, but this time I'm not surprised at all that Emma can disappear from Kelly's in front of a roomful of customers in the front, and a handful of employees in the back, and then evade first her father's, then her grandmother's search, and then several cops, and despite an Amber Alert, and make it down to the docks unseen, as if no one would notice a cute but unaccompanied little girl like that.

Why? Because Emma is “THE PINK NINJA!!”

The girl's got mad skills. She's the granddaughter of Robert Scorpio and Anna Devane, for Pete's sake! She probably saw Sabrina coming, and planted her cute little butt right there in her path, so she'd find her. Britt's probably lucky Emma didn't kill her in the restroom first. Underestimate this “little girl” at your own risk. She SCOFFS at your childish punishments! You cannot “ground” a ninja. She knows EXACTLY what she's doing, and she's at least three steps ahead of every adult playing HER game. Emma's a friggin' GENIUS! What's truly impressive is the way Emma can turn off that inner light that usually seems to shine out of every pore in her body. Sitting there alone on the dock, she looked so sad you could practically see a dark little cloud over her head.

Today you could've followed the show with the sound off, just by looking at the actor's faces.

First we saw Patrick's WTF? face, followed by the OMG! face, and then Britt's “Holy SH!T!!! What have I DONE?” face.

Next, I think that was supposed to be Nuke's “I'm a badass chick” face, but she was more “Jersey Shore / Mob Princess” than “Xena: Warrior Princess.” She reminded me of the guys who always seem to ALMOST get in a bar fight, because they talk tough while their buddies are there to “hold him back.” If his friends ever let him go so he would actually have to fight the dude he was mouthing off to, he'd run like a little girl. A little girl who wasn't Emma Drake. I was laughing watching Nuke try and act tough (or just try and act, PERIOD), but I lost it when Sonny came in and she literally growled at him. I was yelling, “Shoot her, Sonny! C'mon, you shot Dante for less!” I'm not as surprised that Connie gave her a little Bensonhurst attitude saying goodbye, as I am that Sonny couldn't control his daughter. I'm glad Connie called the cops. Who does that little b!tch think she is?

WOOF! Lizzie was looking HAWT today! M-m-m-m-M! Come to Papa! But the look on her face when she was with Max said “Ewwww!” And not just because he was asking about a mole.

We also saw what is rapidly becoming Lulu's default expression when she overheard Spinelli's uncharacteristically indiscreet confession of his NYEONS with Maximista. Lulu standing there, eyes wide open, jaw dropped, and arms spread out, palms up can only mean “WTH?? Are you f@(king KIDDING me??”

When TPTB aren't going over the top with outlandish plot points, like an undetectable rubber mask, or somebody seeing vampires from another show, they keep themselves busy making the mundane seem unbelievable. They routinely have their characters do something completely OUT of character for them, simply to advance the plot.

Example 1: Molly “just happens to” fail to keep a backup copy of her novel, just so Connie can “conveniently” steal it.

Example 2: Spinelli, “conveniently” blabbing intimate personal details of his sex life, and naming Maxie as his partner, to a relative stranger like Sabrina, all so that Lulu can “just happen to” walk up in time to hear him.

Example 3: Britt “just happens to” go off on Emma (the Pink Ninja), and then “conveniently” goes to the bathroom while Patrick is “conveniently” occupied on the phone outside, leaving the little girl “conveniently” alone. First of all, no adult in the world would say what she said to Emma, and not even Britt would leave a child unattended in a public place. I know she did, but it makes no sense that she would. Nobody is that stupid, and yes I've heard the stories about parents who forget, and leave their children in the car for hours, but this is different. The point is, she did something horrible and then made it worse for no logical reason.

Example 4: Sabrina, “conveniently” leaving her cell phone on the bar at the Haunted Star, just before Patrick calls her to tell her that Emma's missing, and minutes before she “just happens to” find Emma. Can somebody please show me ONE twenty-something in America doesn't have their smart phone grafted to their hands 24/7, or wouldn't notice it was gone before she walked out of the parking lot? It's ridiculous, but of course, if she had her phone, then she would call Patrick immediately and the drama would be over. This way, she gets to bring Emma home and see the relief and gratitude on Patrick's face in person. It's just so contrived, it makes the emotional payoff, which we all could see coming from a mile away, seem artificial somehow.

If this is how the struggle for control of ELQ ends, with a whimper instead of a bang, I have to wonder why they took so long to reach this point. This could've happened the first week after AJ was cleared of all charges. Why bother with all this crap about Lucy?

Was anyone else less than impressed with Tracy's office? If I were AJ, I'd be moving into Edward's old digs and let Michael have Tracy's office.

lovesdogs - Our cat loves gravy covering his food as well. I'm sending prayers of healing to Annie and wishes to you.

My take on Ellie is that she has had very few relationships and is socially sonewhat inept in this area. The one serious relationship she had the person slept with her and then dumped her. That's why she is so inscure. As I said before at least Spinelli was compeletely honest with her.
Spinelli is very similar to Ellie since his one true love was Maxie and she has pushed him away and gone back to him, lied repeatly to him and then when he told her he was moving on, she wanted him again.
I think Maxie's inability to be honest with him is what convinced him that he couldn't be with her.

Scrimmage - Love the Pink Ninja. I only wished she would have made it to Switzerland to wake up Grandpa Robert.

I'm glad Sonny was angry with Connie. I find it hard to sympathize with Connie or understand why she would call the police on a distraught young woman when she herself has done so much worse. I find her lack of empathy to be disturbing.

Lily- When Liz told Felix that Max was a bodyguard to a man she once loved, I couldn’t help but ask myself who that could be. I never remember Max protecting Jason, Sonny, yes, Jason, No. I don’t think they know what their writing.

I think Patrick should recognize Emma’s running away for what it is….A cry for help from a small child who has had their world turned upside down, the grief of losing her moth father and the fear of losing her father to cruel witch. Yes, of course she should be reprimanded for putting herself in danger and worrying her father, grandmother and others who love and care about her. She needs to feel safe, not just physically safe but, emotionally as well. I understand Patrick has needs and the right to date women. I just feel until he finds someone that he is really serious about he should keep the relationship away from Emma.

poodles - You are so right about Patrick keeping his dalliances away from Emma.

After todays epi, I wonder if I'm watching General Hospital or General HighSchool. Enough of the Spin/Ellie on again-off again, it's wearing thin. Dr. B. with her attitude towards a small child, totally uncalled for. Sabrina, please grow up ASAP. When the highlight is Milo blowing his mouthful of beer, you got to know it's a slow day.
