Ahhh....Cocktail recipes I can do! Let me know anytime if your looking for something specific as a base or what kind of nite is planned.... Classic cocktails I learned in some of the other fine establishments..the Irish pub was where I learned all about great people and really good beer. And never mix up a man's beer.

Cbru – As far as Britt and Connie being one dimensional, I agree with you about Britt. We know nothing about her outside of what we've seen at the hospital, or when she's with Patrick. We don't know where she's from, or anything about her backstory, so of course it's easy to dislike her. For all we know, she could've been raised in an abusive home and cries herself to sleep every night, or maybe she takes care of a disabled relative, but we'll never have any reason to sympathize with her until we find out what makes her tick.

I disagree that Connie falls into that same category. She reacts the way she does only because she trying to protect herself from people who want to lock her away, or integrate her into some oblivion that scares her to death. I think Connie is a fascinating, complex character who hasn't been left alone long enough for us to see if there IS a softer, more vulnerable side to her. Most of the time she's always on the defensive because she's in a fight for her very existence, and she would be foolish to let her guard down for a second. She does need to do some serious work on her people skills though.

I don't hold this manuscript theft business against Connie because it's totally out of character for her, and in my opinion, it's just a product of some lame multi-media, cross-merchandising, marketing scheme forced upon the writers, and foisted on us, to sell some stupid book.

Casey1 - It's hard to narrow down my favorite storylines from this past year, but I'll give it a go.

After almost two years spent in crippling guilt, self-doubt, and rejection from his loved ones, the return of Luke Spencer to reclaim his rightful place as the iconic anti-hero on GH was something I had been waiting for ever since the whole debacle surrounding Jake's death. Luke finally was back to being himself - sharp, cunning, confident, charming as hell, and two steps ahead of everyone else. His unexpected romance with Anna, and his encounter with Robert on the bridge were real highlights for me.

Along those same lines, I loved the reintroduction of classic characters like AJ and Anna as regulars, and the return, short lived as it was, of Robert, Ned, Skye, and now Lucy, cementing the link to the past that was so disrespected by previous regimes.

Kirsten's Storms' return as Maxie was a very positive development, and I've also appreciated the slow but steady retreat from mob-centric storylines, with Sonny trying to kill somebody who's trying to kill him over something nobody else cares about. We've had enough mob wars on this show to last a lifetime.

Of course the most poignant moment of all was Edward's final scene at the hospital, and the subsequent tribute episode following his death. That's probably what I'll remember most from this past year.

My favorite moments from this year are Liz and Jason getting close again, even if it was just for a short time. (Yes, yes -- I'm covering my ears so I don't hear the screaming of the Liz haters - hehehehe). Of course, Liz made some mistakes and got desperate, but in the end, she redeemed herself (in my eyes) and I will ALWAYS love them as a couple. (nothing against Sam). If SB ever returns to the show, I'll be rooting for them again!

    Happy New Year to all!
