    Enough To Move To L.A.?

    Wednesday, December 26 2012
Many arrive at Sonny’s. Maxie has a medical emergency, Ellie is stood up, and Kristina makes a big decision.

    (ABC)

[General Hospital joined in progress 2:01 PM EST] Spinelli is looking at his phone.

Carly visits Michael’s apartment to wish him a Merry Christmas and drop off his gift. Starr listens in. He opens it and finds his ELQ voting proxy. Carly asks him not to ruin his future for A.J. after all his challenges, including prison, and he argues he won’t. They hug and as Starr comes out, Carly leaves. Starr asks which fathers' house they are going to. He then asks Starr to decide where they go. She says she will go anywhere as long as it isn’t her father’s and explains about the fake heart attack. She says she understands what Carly was saying. Michael asks how long she was listening to them and then explains to her what happened in prison. He discusses Abby and life after leaving prison. She thanks him for sharing and they kiss. She decides they should stay at the apartment for Christmas.

Connie visits her office, surprising Todd who’s worried about Johnny. Connie says not to worry and creates an imaginary noose gesture with her hand. Todd says, "Please tell me you didn’t kill Johnny." Carly shows up professing her hate for Connie after Connie leaves them alone. She tells Todd about going to Johnny’s and how Connie was the only one there claiming Johnny left town. She thinks Connie is hiding something. They end up discussing why they are alone and decide to spend Christmas together. They decorate his office.

At Maxie’s apartment Maxie chases Dante, Lulu and Ellie out to go to Sonny’s party. As soon as they leave she calls Spinelli who has just arrived at Sonny’s and asks him to come over due to an emergency. Spinelli arrives and she shares her worries about being pregnant, not being pregnant, or being pregnant with a puppy. She receives a call from Olivia checking in on her and tells her she is fine. Spinelli gets up to leave since there is no emergency and Maxie stands and bends over moaning. She says she has cramps and is worried.

At the Quartermaines, A.J. hopes Michael can join them for Christmas. Tracy wonders aloud if A.J.’s lying is not working on Michael. A.J. and Tracy argue back and forth and Monica holds up a CoeCoe cosmetic and tells A.J. she thinks she has figured out a way for them to break the tie in ELQ. They discuss Lucy Coe’s share and she walks in. Alice tries to drag her away as Monica argues with Lucy. Tracy and A.J. automatically start treating her like a queen. Monica explains to Lucy what they are really after. Lucy appreciates the situation. A.J. calls Michael.

Olivia is at the hospital screaming at Steve to help them. When he asks about what she is referring to she points to an empty area outside the elevators where only she can see Spinelli carrying in Maxie in a vision. Olivia says there is something obviously wrong with her grandbaby. After Olivia calls Maxie, Steve sends her to Sonny’s party. Later on Spinelli brings Maxie to the hospital. Steve calls Olivia and tells her that her vision came true. Dante, Lulu and Olivia show up and Maxie announces she is pregnant.

Kristina brings Trey to Sonny’s for Christmas Eve. When she says she likes being with him he asks, "Enough to move with me to L.A.?" Alexis and Shawn listen to Sonny’s concerns about a Christmas without Connie and the possibility of Michael having Christmas at the Quartermaine’s. Alexis assures him he is right letting Michael make his own decisions. Sonny won’t pressure Michael by calling to see if he is coming. He greets Kristina and Trey. Other partiers arrive. Max takes Ellie’s coat and Milo checks her out when she arrives with Dante and Lulu. Kristina tells Alexis Molly is at the soup kitchen. Olivia arrives and says her radar is a little off when he asks if she has any insight into what Michael might do. Ellie gets a text from Spinelli that he is delayed. Sonny toasts his guests, celebrating the coming baby for Dante and Lulu, and to remember Jason. He stops as Connie barges in to join them with a "Merry Freakin’ Christmas." Ellie receives another text from Spinelli that he is delayed again. Sonny tells Max and Milo it is Christmas, Connie can stay. She confronts Trey, but is nice to him. Sonny calls Michael. Outside Ellie bumps into Spinelli as she leaves Sonny’s and breaks up with him. Kristina joins Trey on the terrace and says she will go to L.A.

Tomorrow’s Port Charles spoilers for General Hospital:

Sonny receives some disappointing news from one of his children.

    Connie is confronted by Starr.

Spinelli wants to discuss his future with Ellie.

    Christmas Humor for the Day:

    "...It's called plausible deniability."~~~KatCon
"Someone got a thesaurus in her stocking."~~~Todd

    "Merry Skankmas."~~~Carly
    "Ho, Ho, Ho."~~~KatCon

Max and Milo probably needed to borrow KatCon's thesaurus...Spinelli couldn't wait for them to meet his 'paramour', Ellie,...Milo thought she couldn't walk(paraplegic) and Max thought she was a ghost(apparition).

Posted by Midas at Wednesday, December 26 2012 01:20 PM

That should be--Max thought she was something 'paranormal'.

I had to pop in after viewing today's episode. However, I will be gone from board until January 2, 2013. Everyone have a joyous and blessed New Year!!

I'm glad Kristina will go with Trey.I think Trey is going to be a good man now that his father won't be influencing him. Joe was the only parent he knew & you can't fault him for loving him and wanting to please him. But I still think he should sue Kate/Connie for abandonment and get money she owes him.

Michael I don't care if AJ is here you should go to see Sonny. You knew how Sonny was and wanted to be in the business but knew Sonny would never hurt his kids. AJ will use your shares and destroy ELQ. Tracy may need to keep her mouth shut sometimes, but she does know the business cause she learned from the best(Edward).I bet Edward left her in control of ELQ in the real will that Heather has. Tracy I know ELQ is part of you but why not sell your shares or just let AJ get Lucy's and you leave town for a while. Then they will see how much you did for ELQ.

Ellie when you found out that Spin and Max were serious why did you leave. I hope you didn't do anything to the embryo.

I get so tired of what's her name's illusions. If she didn't freak out and scream and talk so loud it might not be so bad cause everyone knows what happened to her.

Where's Luke? Where's Anna and Robert and Robin and Duke?

    **OT**
Want to share something that happened today. So I carpool with my sister's boyfriend to and from work. Like many know I work graveyard at the Happiest Place on Earth. Well, on the way home I fell asleep while he was driving and woke up to him screaming "oh sh**" and the car spinning. I saw us moving closer and closer to the median and all I could think was "oh crap I'm going to smash into the median". Needless to say I was quite scared. Thank the Lord he didn't hit the median, though we ended up facing the opposite direction. I first thought he fell asleep, but he told me he didn't but hydroplaned... I asked if we hit anything and he said no..

Well, we get home and find out he did in fact hit something. And if I could figure out how to copy a link I would show a couple pictures of the damage to his car.. I truly think he fell asleep and just praise God we are okay... Granted my chest hurts, I think the seatbelt pressed against a pen I had in my upper pocket and then that dug into my chest.. but I'm glad I'm not seriously injured..
Kept thinking "what a way to die the day after Christmas", it was scary...

On a postive note I got an A in Chemistry.

Nuke's leaving with Le Douche? It IS a Merry Christmas!

I don't care what anybody says, Connie's a hoot! She is a one of a kind, uniquely entertaining character, who steals every scene she's in because you never know what she's going to do next. She's uninhibited, and unpredictable, and that's hot. She was super cute dancing to her musical Christmas light necklace too. She's a hot, cute, hoot! If you take your eyes off of her for a second, you might miss something hilarious! She's Must-See-TV, and Kelly looks like she's having the time of her life playing Connie. As Kate she was pretty much limited to scenes with Sonny, but now she's free to cross swords with Todd, Carly, and everybody else. Her “Ho, ho, ho” directed at Carly was the snarkiest holiday exchange EVER! I don't think she killed Johnny, though. She was in too good of a mood for that, like she was really pleased with herself for whatever she came up with to keep Johnny in check. Maybe she committed HIM to Ferncliff.

Famous Last Words on Dr. Steven Lars' tombstone: “I'm sure it's nothing.”

Geez, how many more of Oblivia's visions have to come true before that cookie stealing idiot takes them seriously? After everything else, especially this Faison business, as soon as she said “There's something wrong with Maxie,” if I were Steven Lars, I'd be sending an ambulance. This moron's mother is a baby stealing serial killer that survived unscathed after falling from a twelve story building, but he can't accept that his girlfriend is psychic? Oblivia can do SOOOO much better, but if she could see THAT, she wouldn't be Oblivia. I was hoping to see her act as Sonny's hostess, but we never get to see everybody gathered around Sonny's holiday table anymore.

A couple of looks got my attention today. The first was AJ. When Monica mentioned that Lucy could be the tie breaker, he had the old Evil Eye working right before the commercial. I'm sure this competition for Lucy's vote is going to tie into the Nurses' Ball, but it makes me wonder if the writer's changed their mind's about putting Sam in the driver's seat for control of ELQ, in order to shift the attention to Lucy instead. That whole storyline of AJ and Tracy courting Sam's favor just seemed to fizzle out from lack of interest, with Sam handing over her shares or proxy or whatever it was, just like Carly's original refusal to let Michael control the shares in his trust went away today with a whimper instead of a bang. I smell a rewrite!

The second look was on Milo's face, when he saw Ellie, which I guess was for the first time. He seemed struck by her, and then she broke up with Spinelli shortly after that. We know from her comments about Shawn at the Floating Rib that she has a weakness for muscular men. Could Milo be Ellie's consolation prize if she loses Spinelli? I'm sure he could be VERY consoling!

It's a little too convenient that Spinelli would take the time to text, when he could've just as easily (and more politely) called, instead of setting himself up for another Maxie related misunderstanding between he and Ellie. Maxie WAS incredibly inconsiderate to call Spinelli away when she knew darn well that his Christmas dinner date was already on her way to meet him. She selfishly disregarded his feelings and ruined his plans because she was jealous and lonely, which is EXACTLY why she's not the right woman for him. All I know is that Maxie had better not have been faking. That would be low, even for her, but I guess I can blame the rest on hormones.

I thought Michael was going to go off on Starr for eavesdropping, but he was more concerned about what she overheard than her lack of respect for his privacy. I thought it was strange that a revelation about his rape would lead to their first sexual encounter, but I guess that had to be dealt with before they sealed the deal in accordance with their “no secrets” pact, which no good will come of. The writer's should've gotten that particular revelation out of the way before this though. It would've been much more romantic if they had just decided to lock themselves away from their crazy parents and spend Christmas Eve alone together. How icky is it that one of these days they might be getting it on at the same time his mother is boinking her father?

Did those writers really have to have Connie say "Merry
Fr!gen Christmas"? when she walked into Sonny's home. What a Sacrilegious bunch they are! I was appalled. That was just not right

Monkey 83, Wow, glad you were not hurt, what a scary situation to wake up to. Congrats on the A in Chemistry.
    On Topic
Midas, great summary of the show.
Maxie has to be the most self centered person. Why didn't she call Dante and Lulu? They certainly would have rushed to her aid. She just had to wedge herself between Spinelli and Ellie.
I suspect Lucy is working AJ and Tracy to fund the Nurses Ball. Speculation Only.
    Liked Michael and Star today.
Good of Carly to give Michael his voting proxy, and let him make his own choices.

    Hi everyone,

The two notable families on this show are gathering for Christmas and you would think there would be some excitement, but sadly both parties fell a little short. The Quartermaine's Christmas was made interesting with the arrival of one decked out Lucy Coe and the start of yet another battle between Tracy and AJ to gain her confidence in her vote.
The Corinthos clan is gathering and no sign of food that I can see. Sonny made a speech about his losses and his hopes for his future. This gathering was made a little more interesting with the party crasher, Connie. At this point I think Connie is more interested in Sonny than she would like to admit.
Starr and Michael's love scene fell a little short for me too. The timing seemed far off. I think I could have better accepted Carly and Todd making out on his desk much easier.
I guess we're going to get yet another scene of Spinelli assuring Ellie that she is the one he wants. On the bright side Dante and Lulu have been married a year with little problems and much to look forward to.

    ***Late Breaking News***

I labeled this one late breaking because this news is fast making its rounds and is everywhere you look. Steve Burton (Jason) has signed on to join another soap, Y&R. The hopes of seeing the character Jason on the show again will be through a recast. This news isn't totally surprising, the only question is who else will join him from GH.
