    Off topic:

Hey maja my friend. I had a few days off work so I tried to totally chill at home. Literally. It's been so hot we had the air con on most of the day. Wasn't online much but I did do a lot of shopping.

I agree, this was a must see episode. What has me thinking though is Connie. I know we all have our own thoughts as to who is the alter and who is the real Connie. I still think that “current” Connie is the alter, but her behavior is very puzzling to me and I’ll explain why. I realize that anyone that gets raped will have a major trauma to deal with for the rest of their lives and that it changes many people completely. Some decide they don’t want a relationship; some have intimacy issues, anger, etc… When it comes to Connie, she has no problem getting intimate and she certainly has the anger, but what still makes absolutely no sense is the way she treats kids. Stealing Molly’s manuscript and having it published under name is taking things to another level.

When she and Sonny were young and dating her name might have been Connie, but her attitude was more like Kate, when Kate was nice and in a good mood; we all know she had her good days. This Connie is not only mean and ruthless, but reckless and will hurt and destroy anyone (young or old) in order to get what she wants. Now I don’t care how much anyone loves, hates or dislikes Sonny, we all know that if Connie had behaved this way in the past Sonny and Olivia would say “this Connie is exactly as she was in the past”. I mean Sonny is not that stupid. It’s true that she created Kate to start a new life, but that’s all she created. There has to be more to her devilish behavior then rape.

    Any ideas? Scrimmage?

Thundering herd – Fairy land, AKA Hollywood, Tinsel Town, where stars are born and dreams come true.

    Happy Wednesday everyone,

Let's hope we heard the horses whinny for the last time now that the Duke mask finally melted off of Faison's face. I knew those finger sleeves were constricting the blood flow to Anna's brain and it appears that I was right. Of course McBat was helpful turning up the heat and in general chewing the scenery while making some great faces. I really was hoping there was cheese in that fondue pot as I had a whole Cheese Head joke going, but the oil produced the same stringy consistency I was hoping to see. You've got to love the smile of satisfaction on Robert's face after he pulled Anna off Faison. I would have let her get a few more hits in. I'm just hoping for a Scorpio family Christmas with everyone gathered around to watch Emma open her presents.

Akita – I don't expect anything about the stolen novel storyline to make any sense as far as the characters involved. Connie wouldn't do this, she'd just acquire the rights, and Molly would never have just one backup. Even a draft could prove who wrote the book. This crap is being forced on the writers (and us) in a blatant attempt at the cross promotion of another lame book. Connie said it herself. The object of publishing a book is to make money. That's what this is all about, and I don't consider this storyline any more a real part of GH than one of the commercials they run on the show, or any of the product placement stuff (Hershey's) they've inflicted on us recently.

Onto the rest of the show:

First the good bits - How adorable was Danny reaching for his father's figurine on the Christmas tree? I'm hoping that Sam is rewarded for her faith, even if Jason only appears as a Christmas fantasy.

Scrimmage: The next time you write shhhhh, I'll pay more attention. The good news is that there's a possibility that Chrissy and Tres are going off into the western sunset. I wish them well, just as long as I don't have to watch their future as a couple play out on screen.

Now the stupid bits - Okay, the hormones thing was funny, but enough already. While it is funny to watch Dante try to understand why Lulu and Maxi are now in an altered state, the joke is becoming offensive to me. How many years was the hormone affliction used to keep women from breaking the glass ceiling?

If Johnny wants to get rid of Connie and Todd wants to get her out of his office, why don't these two have a meeting with Sonny, as he's the only one who seems to want her these day? Oh, because they both want Carly...they're both hapless men.

I agree that the story line with Molly's novel is stupid.
As I said before all she would have to do is a System Restore to a date prior to the file download and the novel file would be there.

I guess? Although what you’re saying makes sense, it still doesn’t explain in my mind why Connie has to be so evil to the minors. I’m assuming; without being too critical of the writers, that this part was just a big mistake like the ones we sometimes see in a movie. Like when everything is going really good and all of a sudden you see something a little stupid and you say to yourself, “they just ruined the movie with this dumb scene”.

BTW – I know I said I found Todd funny and an added bonus to the show, but this guy just can’t be nice. Not even when it concerns his daughter.

Srimmage - That was the first thing I thought about when Chrissy showed up at Sam's door with Alexis. I was guilt stricken when Tres popped up from behind the tree - What have I done???? So glad there's a glimmer of happily ever after for these two - off canvas.

Scrimmage-- Did the last book actually make any money? I personally wouldn't spend a dime on it, but did anyone else? I don't get the rationale behind this.
