Spin wants an admittance of guilt from Todd, Patrick has no sympathy for Jason, and Monica gets a visit from someone long thought dead.
Sabrina collects money at the hospital to send condolences to Monica. Patrick goes off about Jason until Liz interjects. Then he yells at Liz. He blames Jason for Robin’s death. Liz accuses him of using Robin’s death to beat up on Jason and runs off. Brit sympathizes with Patrick and he appreciates her seeing his side. In another room, Sabrina comforts Liz, who admits she loved Jason. She was willing to do anything to hold onto him, no matter how desperate. Sabrina thinks we all do stupid things when we are in love. They return and Patrick apologizes. Sabrina would like to make things up to him and he asks her to babysit so he can take Brit out.
Lulu looks at the adoption papers at the club when Maxie comes in. Lulu can’t believe Maxie told Spin about her divorce so quickly after she told her not too, and while he was on a date with Ellie. Lulu suggest she find a private moment to tell Spin how much she loves him, but Maxie plots to tell him at the Halloween party at the club. Spin pledged he would love her forever and he is man of his word. Suddenly Ellie, ever cheerful, arrives and insists Maxie join her and Spin for the Halloween party. She agrees. Ellie then asks Maxie for help with her costume and Lulu encourages it. Maxie agrees.
At the pier, Anna and Duke discuss the case. Scully’s son admitted he was taking orders from someone else. Anna is determined to find out who killed Monica’s son. She asks Duke about his job and is shocked he is tending bar. She is a bit shocked but he admits his resume has some gaps in it. She is even more shocked when he tells her it is at the Haunted Star. He wants to prove himself to her so they can have their happy life together again. She asks for his phone number and instead he invites her over again.
Sam catches Diane slipping something under her door. Diane plays it off that it was just something she dropped. She came by to offer her condolences. Sam doesn’t need them because Jason isn’t dead. Diane offers her legal services, but Sam is mad she got Todd to walk. She throws Diane out as John arrives. Alone, Sam tells John her belief that Jason is not dead. He doesn’t think Jason is dead either and she thanks him for believing her. John is trying to figure out who sprung Scully from jail. It might be connected to Jason, but it might not be.
Spin visits Todd and demands Todd admit culpability in the switch. How convenient that Heather is in a coma. Todd thinks it is convenient for everyone. Spin makes another plea, and Todd is about to break when Diane arrives and demands silence. Spin is glad Jason is not here to see what is become of Diane. Spin leaves and Diane tells Todd that Sam doesn’t know the truth yet. If Sam suspects this proof came from him she will make sure he hangs, with help from Carly and John. Todd is bummed. He wants her to figure out a way to tell everyone that does not implicate him. She’ll help him, but she charges double for subterfuge. He writes the check and has an idea that might work - Heather Webber.
Spin arrives at the penthouse. He went to the metro Court to force Todd to admit is guilt but Diane cut them off. John leaves after assuring her he will follow up on the lead they discussed.
At home, Monica accuses Tracy of causing Jason’s death by abetting Scully. Tracy suggests Monica look in the mirror if she is handing out blame for Jason’s death. She and Alan coddled Jason and AJ. Both boys were ruined before the accident AJ caused that changed Jason. And now both of her boys are gone due to her moral failings. Monica doesn’t deny she and Alan made huge mistakes, but Tracy still let Joe go free. Tracy doesn’t think Joe was not all bad. He saved her life by slipping her the anti-toxin. Moncia is flabbergasted. That means he was working with Jerry Jacks! Tracy wonders if Joe might have played a part in the Metro Court crisis too. She has not told the cops anything about this yet and Monica is livid with Tracy – her family is gone! Tracy begins to cry – she is so sorry about Jason. Alone, Monica cries. Suddenly, AJ walks in.
