TipsyTess - thanks for the recap of Jason and Liz. I didnt watch GH back then (was always ATWT and GL for me) - but I always followed all soaps through magazines - long before the internet. Its much appreciated and welcome to Twitter:-)

Dubbs – Your scene (pg. 51 yesterday) on the wedding, and how Sam and Liz should've resolved their differences was much better than what actually happened, and a helluva lot more entertaining. Why Carly didn't launch herself at Connie when Sonny beat the crap out of a wounded Johnny (big man, Sonny!) I'll never know. And now we've got Snarrl back, shouting her revenge threats against the wrong person again.

I was very disappointed that Sam and Liz were so civil, but I guess now we can clear the slate between them and finally call it even. Can we? Please?

There is now no doubt in my mind that Liz knew exactly what she was doing the whole time, and that her claim of “slowly losing my mind” was just another lame excuse for Jason's benefit. She knew better than to pull that crap on Sam, even though Sam said she was impressed with how convincingly Evilizabeth lied. “I was a grifter for years and I really worked on my technique, but I've got NOTHING on you.” That might be a good tip for Liz's career change, which may be coming pretty soon.

Ellie reads comics, watches soaps, enjoys disastrous weddings, and wants to have Spinelli's children. What's not to like?

Monica and Tracy were great today. They had some zingers!

Tracy (after Monica startled her): “Have you ever considered wearing a bell?”

Monica: “Don't tell me you and Joseph are... going steady?”

Those might've been my favorite lines except for this gem from the wedding.

Connie (to Sonny): “Were you ALWAYS this stupid?”

That was Sweeeet! Sonny begging Kate to come back is amusing, but that would be far too easy. I'll be shocked if Connie doesn't laugh in his face.

So much for the good stuff. Now on to the bad.

I don't remember ever seeing a combination of such bad writing and poor acting by everyone in a scene on this show as what I saw watching Le Douche's rescue of Nuke at the warehouse. That was the worst of the worst. The best thing about it was that it was so predictable, with Le Douche bursting in at the last minute (check), putting himself between Nuke and Scummy (check), the inevitable struggle for the gun (didn't we just do that?) where, of course Scummy takes a non-fatal bullet (check), but escapes only to literally bring bloodshed and violence to Tracy', I mean Monica's doorstep (check and mate). Paint by the numbers stuff, which should be simple enough to pull off for paid professional actors, but they somehow managed to make a mess of it.

First of all, the entire scene made no sense. Scummy should've shot Nuke in the trunk of the car, dumped the body at the warehouse, or even better, in the harbor, and been long gone, maybe using Tracy as an alibi. The utter stupidity of the idea that he and Le Douche would benefit in any way from Nuke's death, while Sonny, his sons, and supposedly his new wife, were still alive, or that Scummy would engage a long, incriminating conversation with his intended target, should be obvious to everyone not named Steven Lars. That's just another example of really poor writing.

But beyond that, the performances of all three actors were unintentionally comical, instead of tense, or dramatic. Could anyone understand what Nuke was saying early on? I had to go back and listen again, because for some reason the closed captions weren't working today. The first responsibility of any actor is to get the lines out where they can be understood, otherwise everything else is pointless. Nuke fails miserably in this regard. Between the fake crying, and the over-the-top hysterics she was unintelligible. And after Scummy ran off, was there a subway going by underneath Nuke's chair when Le Douche struggled to untie her? What was that bouncing / vibrating thing supposed to be? She looked like a three year old on a pony ride.

Scummy was extra hammy with his “I did it all for YOU, son” crap, but the idea that he couldn't have swatted away TvTrey like a kitten that jumped in his lap, or that he couldn't keep him from turning the gun is on him is just plain silly. Joe Scummy Jr. has at least 75 pounds on that skinny little punk.

And that brings us to Le Douche. Someone should remind him that he shouldn't cry when he's trying to be heroic. Tears are a woman's weapon. He should've faced down his Dad man to man, but he was crying like a little boy. And then he really tried to get the waterworks going after dear ol' Dad got shot, but all he could manage was Scrunch face.

Meanwhile, when Nuke didn't have any lines to screw up, she didn't seem upset at all, but she did have a pissed off look on her face like “Hey! remember me? I'm still tied to a chair over here!”

Finally, Le Douche keeps repeating “I'm so sorry” while Nuke ruins his tux with her mascara. There is no way in hell that Le Douche should get any credit at all for rescuing Nuke, because, whether he knew of his father's intentions or not, if it wasn't for him, she would've never been put in this predicament in the first place. Of course, she'll forgive him and have his baby, who WILL inherit everything.

It almost makes me feel sorry for Sonny. Almost. Actually, it couldn't happen to a more deserving guy.

Give me a break Starr you could have done better then that. She waited too long to slap her. I would have punched her lights out. That was your precious little girl & the love of your life! I hope she continues to seek revenge even when she finds out it was Johnny. Then let TPTB bring Cole (Brandon Buddy) and Hope back from the dead. I can't believe nobody knew it was Connie. they all have to be stupid. Kelly is awesome as Connie and I miss Todd. Bring him back soon.

Kbendy - welcome to posting! Glad to have you. The reason Connie gave is that Kate's life is in danger with Sonny (having been shot on a previous wedding day) but I agree, its not clear whether Connie the teenager was like Connie the adult is now. Theoretically, Kate should be the alter IMHO. That being said, Kelly Sullivan has been amazing. She tweeted today during the east coast feed and was very funny. I even got to see Michael - if only for a nano second. Sigh...cant wait for Chad to get his own storyline.
