Jerry reveals his plan to Port Charles, Liz realizes Ewen is involved, and Luke and Anna leave Switzerland empty handed.
In Switzerland, Luke stops the doctor from checking on Anna. She tells him to drop the accent and tell her what he is doing there. Meanwhile, Anna is in the basement and cries out when she sees a patient–she is alive! But it is not Robin. Anna shows her the picture of Robin and asks if she has seen her but she does not answer. Luke and the other doctor find Anna –this patient was transferred from Ferncliff just a few weeks ago. Anna thinks Heather was just playing with her and Luke understands she had to know for sure. The doctor stops them from leaving – Anna has committed a criminal offense. Luke threatens a rain of publicity on her so she allows them to leave. Once they are gone the doctor tells someone in the shadows it was a close call and hopes someday he gets what he wants. It is Duke Lavery!
On the airwaves, Jerry tells the town that he has been keeping a secret. He made Alexis and Josslyn sick, but their suffering was worth what is about to come. With the help of an associate, he was inoculating them, but the rest of Port Charles won’t be so lucky. At 2:00 AM that morning he introduced a deadly pathogen into the water supply. Any who has contact with the water will start feeling the effects in 24-48 hours, and shortly after that will be dead. There is an antibiotic serum, but it is very expensive. He is interrupted and leaves the town hanging.
At the hospital, Jason asks Patrick about Robin’s ties to Jerry. He thinks Jerry is connected to the injections. A nurse runs in and puts on the television. When Jerry says he has an associate, Jason tells Patrick it is Keenan he is talking about. He calls Liz but she is not answering. He makes Patrick promise to check on Liz.
Alexis invites McBain inside her home. Sam walks in and insists Alexis sit down and take it easy. John tells them there is nothing more important than seeing Liam again, so he is staying in town to resist temptation and violating the court order. They get a call and put on the television. John tells them the FBI has a file on Jerry and calls them to find Jerry’s location. He leaves and Sam begs him to be careful. Alexis is upset that her girls have not been vaccinated. She does not want to survive if she can’t protect the people she loves. Sam thinks John and Jason will figure out what to do.
In their hotel room, Tracy tells Joe that Jerry is a murdering psychopath who killed her brother, Alan. He held all the people in the lobby hostage, including her brother, who died because Jerry would not get him treatment after a heart attack. Joe tells her not to panic. He remembers the antidote that Jerry gave him and tells her he will find the antidote. She leaves to be with her father and he assures her everything will be okay.
Liz and Ewen watch Jerry on TV at her place. She can’t believe it - she was going to ask him about Jacks' family. He accuses her of thinking he has something to do with this, that Jason must have warned her. She asks if Jason has reason to warn her. Ewen blows up - he did not know this was Jerry’s plan! He didn’t know it would go this far. She realizes Jason was right – Ewen is connected to Jerry. She tries to leave and Ewen grabs her. Patrick comes in and orders him to let her go.
Carly watches Jerry with Jax from their hotel room and asks if he knew about it, but he didn’t. Jax thought he was dead. Jax assures Carly he is not going to let her die. Jax gets a call and takes off – he is going to do whatever it takes to keep her alive. Later, she holds Joss and tells her Jax will fix everything.
In her hospital room, Olivia and Steve can’t believe the announcement. She thinks Jerry is a sociopath and Steve thinks she is exaggerating. She is worried about Liz’s kids but he tells her they are at Disney. She needs to find Jax and Steve tells her he is already in town. She is relieved - Jax is the only one who has ever been able to reason with Jerry.
John shows up at the station and puts a gun to Jerry’s head. Then, Jason shows up with a gun. Jerry knows they can’t kill him because he is the only one with the antidote. Jason beats Jerry up but Jerry just taunts them – they won’t get him to talk. Jax walks in and thinks he can get him to talk.
