Joss and Alexis get worse, Jerry fills Joe in on his plan, and a group gathers in the chapel to pray.

At Kelly’s, Molly checks her phone. There is an urgent message from Kristina. Alexis is sick and in the hospital! She is horrified that she was making fun of her mom. Shawn tells her it will be okay and drives her and TJ to the hospital.

Jason arrives at the hospital as Steve is telling Carly and Sam that Alexis and Joss were injected. Ewen lurks in the background. Sam tells Carly about Alexis fainting at Wyndemere and Carly is shocked - could Joss have been at Wyndemere? She walks off and leaves a message for Jax. Johnny runs up and Carly tells him someone broke in and took Joss. Meanwhile, Liz explains to Sam and Jason that both the marks are in the same place. Sam is confused about why this happened and Jason thinks maybe Dr. Keenan can answer some questions. He and John went to Wyndemere and all they found was Ewen. The call to Alexis was a setup to get her out there. Molly runs up and Sam takes her to see Alexis. Ewen tells Liz and Jason he has a patient waiting and leaves. Liz defends Ewen but Jason thinks Ewen is involved and lying. He doesn’t trust Ewen and he doesn’t think Liz does either. She tells him she can take care of herself and walks off.

In Joss’ room, Starr breaks down with Michael about Joss’ illness. Steve come in and checks Joss, then tells Michael to get Carly. He has bad news. Nothing is breaking the fever. She is at risk for seizures and brain damage. Carly cries as Michael strokes Joss’ hair. He knows she can beat this – she has to keep Fred safe. He tells her how much he loves her, then leaves to get air. Carly asks Liz if she can be alone with Joss then tells her she has to fight. Later, Johnny insists it is not Carly’s fault. She hopes whoever did it burns in hell. He leaves to find Steve and she tells Joss her daddy believes in miracles. Jason comes in and comforts Carly. Joss’ equipment starts to beep and people run around trying to save her.

In Alexis’ room, Trey tells Kristina his dad is in jail but he was framed. She asks by who as the doctors come in to check on Alexis. Molly and Sam run in and Molly is crying – Alexis looks so weak. Trey, TJ and Shawn leave so the doctor can speak with the girls alone. Alexis’ fever is going up, and the drugs are not working. If the brain shuts down, so does the body. The girls break down and hold on to each other. Sam runs out to get Steve to try something else. He tells them there is not much more time. Alexis’ machine starts beeping and Molly is hysterical.

Johnny goes to the chapel and prays for help. He knows this is punishment for what he did to Starr’s family. Starr walks in and Johnny asks her to stay. Joss can use all the prayers she can get. Starr can’t look at Joss and not think of Hope. She is so upset and kneels to pray for Josslyn. Johnny hugs her while she cries and tells her she does not have to be strong with him. He has to tell her something he did. Michael shows up and tells them Joss might not make it. Johnny leaves to find Carly and Michael and breaks down with Starr. Shawn, TJ and Trey come in. Shawn says there is more power in all of them praying together. They hold hands and Shawn leads them in prayer. Ewen watches from the background.

At Wyndemere, Joe wants to know how to direct his men. Jerry tells him how he injected Alexis and his niece with something that will make them very, very sick. It causes severe systemic inflammation. They will get a high fever – the kind that could kill someone. Jerry leaves to answer a call from Ewen. They are onto him – the doctors know they were injected. Jerry tells him they only think they know what is going on. Meanwhile, Joe calls Trey, who tells him there will be no wedding since Kristina’s mom is sick. Joe is pissed. Jerry assures him it will all be over soon. Their suffering was necessary to keep them safe. And now they will be. He would never harm his niece – he loves her. By now the fever has broken. He gave them a vaccination of sorts – protection from what he is about to unleash on Port Charles.

Suddenly, Alexis and Joss both break their fevers at the hospital and everyone celebrates.

Monday’s Port Charles spoilers for General Hospital:

Jason tells Spinelli, “Keenan is lying about what happened just like he was lying about hwy he was out at Wyndemere yesterday.”

Ewen tells Kate, “I can’t treat you anymore.”

Jerry asks Joe, “You want me to immunize your son?” Joe replies, “You’re damn right!”

Sonny asks John, ‘What do you have to tell me about Joe Jr.?” John replies, “He is out of jail.”

Who knew that Joe Scummy Jr. would be the voice of the viewing audience? He certainly took the words right out of my mouth telling Jerry...

“Enough with the riddles!” “Don't leave us in suspense,” and “Cut the BS!”

From Scummy's mouth to TPTB's ears.

C'mon! Did anybody REALLY think they were going to kill off Alexis or Josslyn? I mean besides their doctors, of course. Alexis' doctor in particular wins the award for Worst. Bedside. Manner. EVER! He was about as comforting as a thorn bush.

Michael, it's impolite to contradict Starr. She IS a blubbering mess. So is Johnny, and another thing they have in common is that they both have big mouths. Why does Johnny think confessing his role in Cole and Hope's deaths is going to help Starr at this point? It would only serve to ease HIS guilty conscience, but it would throw Starr's life into utter chaos again, just as she was starting to get past her grief. It would be totally selfish for Johnny to come forward at this late date, even if it is the “right thing to do.”

Can somebody please explain to me why Jason hasn't beaten the truth out of Dr. Bigfoot yet? It's not like Jason has to respect Bigfoot's rights or follow any rules about anything. He's a CRIMINAL for Pete's sake, and it's about time he started acting like one. He KNOWS Ewen is hiding something, and I don't think it would take much more than a couple of broken fingers for Jason to get him to tell what he knows. Who cares if he's got Liz (I like him, and I can take care of myself!) fooled? She'll be done with Ewen just as soon as Jason pounds the truth out of him.

Jerry is in the wrong business, he should have been a medical researcher, he knows exactly when A & J will spike a fever and when it will break. Amazing.

Liz line of the day "I can take care of myself"

Johnny line of the day walking into the chapel "Well, I did not burst into fire"

    Johnny's praying--as Sonny's--somehow makes me squirm.

Jerry tells Scummy that he has injected Alexis and Josh with something that will make them very very sick (what a prince) and will give them a high fever that could kill someone and he knows it wont kill them because ?????

    OMG!!! I HATE JERRY!!!

    SPOILER TALK......

Jax is coming back the end of this month! I want him to pound the bleeping s$% out of his no good EVIL brother!!!

    ON TOPIC..

I don't care if Jerry knew that these injections would save Alexis and Joss.......HOW DID HE KNOW that these injections wouldn't adversely react with Joss's anti-rejection meds and Alexis' cancer meds!!! And why is this bleeping reject from the human race getting off letting loose another plague in PC to kill people!??

Good grief, Charlie Brown!! We've had Untethered batsh%& crazy Heather loose on PC creating all kinds of havoc and lunacy, now we have evil personified in the guise of Jerry Jacks wreaking his own kind of H3LL on innocent people! Like I said once before....it's like a revolving door for crazy lunatics lately!!

GEESH!!! All we need now is Helena Cassadine strolling in to join the fray! (OMG.....maybe she is already involved and we don't know it yet!!??)

I really enjoyed this episode. I thought the writers did a good job keeping you on your feet. Really liked the part with Sean and friends praying. Can't wait to see what Jerry does next! He's so good at being the bad guy!!

Jerry probably knew how the vaccine works.

Vaccines are nothing but the virus with something about them tweaked, enough for it not to replicate successfully, but enough to illicit an immune response. Sometimes the response is small..like inflammation around the entry womb. Other times the body will go into a systemic immune response (ie fever- to burn them suckers out). Jerry must have given them just enought to cause a systemic immune response because he is going to release a large amount of virus at once. Once Alexis and Joss are exposed to the virus again, their immune system is primed to be resistant.

My guess is that Jerry had the vaccines tested way in advance. He probably knew Joss was on anti- rejection meds, and might have tested his vaccine out on a similar patient, or one who has a compromised immune system... like hmmm?? Robin!!

I've been wracking my brain as to why he would be involved in kidnapping Robin and now I just figured it out. LOL

Jason and John already know there is something off about Ewen. They know he is lying through his pearly whites and he is in this mess up to his eyeballs!!

Ewen, you are really in for it!! You NEVER want to get on Jason's and John's bad side!!

Jerry's illness might have his brain cells a little off! Didn't he think that jason would probably figure something was amiss pretty quickly!!...and jerry doesn't know John "like a dog with a bone" McBain! When you've got 2 smart guys like Jason & John working together....the truth will emerge pretty fast!!

Jason hasn't figured out that Jerry is involved yet, but it won't be long....especially with John and Spinelli working in the mix!

John, Jason and Spinelli.....The 3 Musketeers of beating down Jerry Jacks!! YAHOO!!
