Jason and Sam say goodbye, Kate has an answer for Sonny's proposal, and Dante gets some spectacular news.

At Alexis' house, Sam and Jason discuss taking steps to begin separating their lives. Jason believes a divorce is a fairly easy legal procedure. Sam begs him not to minimize what they meant to each other. They discuss finding lawyers. A distraught Sam considers trying a trial separation or counseling. She loves Jason and doesn't want to destroy the beauty of their relationship simply because she's still angry at him. Sam forces Jason to say the word goodbye because if they don't say it, it won't be real. Jason fights back his tears. They share an emotional embrace and begin to kiss as they flashback to special moments in their life together. Sam dissolves into tears. They are both obviously heartbroken. Jason leaves.

Sonny orchestrates a night to remember for Kate as he prepares to propose at the coffee house. They reminisce about their first date. He reminds her of their missed attempts building a life together. He's thankful for another chance at spending the rest of his life with her. He says that finding their way back to each other is a miracle. He pulls out the diamond ring. "What is Connie comes back?" Kate asks. She worries if their getting married is the right thing for them because of her mental illness and calls herself crazy. Sonny retorts that is he is crazy too which is why they fit. He reaffirms his undying love for and her gets down on one knee and proposes again. Kate melts into tears when he slips the ring on her finger. She says yes. They enjoy a romantic evening of dancing as they celebrate their upcoming nuptials.

At their apartment, Lulu gets queasy when Dante offers her a bite of Danish. He comments that Maxie was acting strange earlier. Dante sweetly pampers his wife thinking that she is coming down with something. He finds a positive pregnancy test and assumes it belongs to Maxie. Lulu corrects him by blurting that she is the one pregnant not Maxie. Dante's eyes bulge as he begins choking on his food. Once the shock is over, he is elated that they are going to have a kid! Lulu and Dante try to come to grips with the unexpected pregnancy. Lulu wants to know if Dante is happy. They both confirm that they are ready to become parents even though they've gone through some recent rough times.

At Carly's, Ewen hides when she and Johnny come downstairs to retrieve a pair of handcuff keys for their kinky tryst. When they return upstairs, Ewen whisks a sleeping Josslyn away. Later, Carly screams, "Josslyn is missing!" Thinking she wondered off, Johnny tries to find her. Carly frantically leaves a message on Dante's phone about Jossyln's disappearance. Johnny enters with Jossyln and says he found outside her curled underneath the swing set. Ewen lurks outside, obviously ashamed of his actions.

At Wyndermere, Jerry stands over an unconscious Alexis and injects her with a syringe. Ewen arrives with Jossyln and says that he gave her a mild sedative to calm her and lessen the fear of being kidnapped. Ewen is disgusted with his recent actions and wants to be done with him. He demands to know what Jerry did to Alexis when he sees her lying unconscious. Ewen tries to wake Alexis as Jerry confirms that she if just fine. He stops Jerry from injecting Jossyln. "Would you like to be released from our agreement?" He threatens to reveal the truth about him to Liz if he cooperates. Ewen hands him the syringe. Alone, Alexis awakens and tries to remember what happened. When she leaves, Jerry comes out of hiding and begins coughing uncontrollably.
