Jerry drugs Alexis, Jason and Sam agree to divorce, and Trey promises to marry Kristina.
In disbelief at finding Jerry Jacks at Windermere, Alexis wants to know why he's not dead. He says he came back for her. He reminds her that they were more than friends, and had an electric affair. She says she loathes him for trying to kill people that she cares about. He's psychotic and she wants nothing to do with him. He pulls her into a fierce kiss. She snatches away and slaps him across the face. Alexis threatens to honor her civic duty by calling the police since he's a fugitive. Alexis learns that Jerry disabled her phone and that she is locked in the room with him. Alexis tries to escape when Jerry pulls out a vial and prepares to drug her. He says, "This won't hurt a bit."
In the lobby of the hospital, Dante questions Ewen about Olivia's hallucinations. Ewen explains that Olivia may be having acid flashbacks but expects her to fully recover. Kate assures Dante that Ewen knows how to care for Olivia. Dante leaves. Kate and Ewen discuss if she is still a danger to Sonny even though it appears that she's integrated. Ewen assures her that she's safe and integrated. Kate commends Ewen for helping her heal by facing the truth. He seems uncomfortable at her compliments of his character and excuses himself. Sonny arrives and kisses Kate.
Lulu eyes the pregnancy test Maxie handed her at the hospital. Lulu stammers about her and Dante's long-term plans for a family. Maxie tries to persuade her to take the test to be sure. Dante runs into Lulu at the hospital and asks about Patrick. Lulu stammers that she didn't see Patrick but is interrupted when Maxie catches up to them. When Dante leaves, Maxie asks if the test is positive.
Carly reads to Josslyn, when Johnny arrives at Carly's house. He's been in New Jersey visiting Joe Scully in jail. Carly says Joe Scully has been dead for years. He explains that Joe Scully Jr. wants to avenge his father's memory by bringing Sonny to his knees. Carly disputes Joe Jr.'s recollection of what happened between Sonny and Joe Jr. many years ago. Johnny lies that he turned down the offer to get revenge on Sonny. He says that spending time with Carly and her family is more important than going after Sonny. Joe Jr. is going to have to find someone else. Johnny's lies continue to compile when he talks about living off his stashed money and being out of the business. Carly gushes that she no longer has to worry about the safety of kids. She tells him he can always change his life if he wants it deeply enough. They kiss and head upstairs. Ewen sneaks into Carly's house.
At the jail, Joe Jr. demands to know who bruised Trey's face. Joe Jr. rages because Sonny has hurt Trey and threatens that Sonny is going to pay for what he did to Trey. Sonny is going to wind up shoving his daughter right into his arms. Joe Jr. pressures Trey to marry Kristina immediately. Trey confirms that he really likes Kristina. Trey tells Joe that Kristina was abused by her boyfriend. He says that he would be marrying Kristina under false pretenses. Trey believes that the charges will be dropped. Joe Jr. contends that the only way to save him from Sonny is for him to marry his daughter. Trey and Joe Jr. joke about Joe's lack of a love interest. He says, once he marries Kristina, they will begin a new life with the money. Trey confirms that he will find a way to propose to Kristina.
Sonny meets Kristina at Kelly's and they discuss Trey. He admits that he accidentally hit Trey while they were sparring. They briefly discuss Michael and Starr but it quickly drifts to Sonny announcing that he is going to propose to Kate. Kristina is thrilled at the news. Kristina asks if he's sure Kate will say yes. Sonny jokes with Kristina about marrying Trey. Kristina tells her dad that she loves him and is happy for him and wishes for the same for Jason and Sam. When John enters, she yells at him about messing with Jason and Sam. He denies his involvement and sits at another table where Sonny later joins him. Sonny encourages him to pursue a case against Joe Jr. John says if Joe get off, sonny can have him.
Jason confronts John and Sam as they break from their embrace at Alexis' house. Sam explains that Alexis is handling John's case because Todd pressed assault charges against him. Jason wants to know how Todd got a picture of her kissing John and why he sent it to Natalie. Sam says that the kiss meant nothing but it made Natalie leave John. Jason asks John if the kiss meant nothing to him. Sam says that John is only there to work with Alexis so that he can get back with Natalie. John tells Jason he and Sam should talk. John leaves. Jason says, "Let's talk." Sam gets emotional when she sees that Jason removed his ring, and doesn't know if she can move forward. He confirms her pain is because of his actions but he never wanted the baby to be gone. He grieves for the baby and he is sorry. He wants to regain what they had and asks if she can forgive him. She cries that if the baby had lived, it may be easier to forgive him. She says that John is her friend and will help him fight for his son. She asks, "Can you accept John McBain in my life?" He doesn't know. Sam and Jason agree that they need to divorce.
