Spinelli hits the bag, John is served by Natalie, Patrick is released, and Jerry Jax targets Carly and Alexis.

Spinelli arrives at the gym for a boxing lesson with Jason. Spinelli says he has joined an online dating service and wants to get into shape for female suitors. Spinelli pretends Matt Hunter’s face is on the bag. While Spinelli babbles about his anger towards Matt and Maxie, Jason takes over the punching bag and flashbacks to the many times he’s seen Sam with John McBain. He accidentally punches Spinelli. Jason apologizes. Spinelli says that Jason is still angry about John kissing Sam. He encourages Jason to communicate with Sam and decide if he should throw in the towel or fight for his marriage. Spinelli notices that Jason has disappeared after seeing the front page featuring John.

At home, Alexis informs Sam that the charges against John have been dropped. John enters, briefly greets Sam, and excuses himself to check on his passport. Alexis tells Sam that there is clearly something between Sam and John. He returns from his call and says he no longer needs his passport because Natalie is back in Llanview. Sam and John prepare to say goodbye. He says he’ll miss her. She contends that he will forget about her when he reunites with Natalie. John McBain is served with a restraining order signed by Natalie. He flies into a rage. Alexis says he may not have legal grounds in regards to custody of Liam since he’s not married to Natalie. She discourages him from acting irrationally. On the phone, John argues with Clint Buchannan, Natalie’s dad, that they have no right to take his son from him. Sam offers to speak to Natalie on John’s behalf which Alexis strongly discourages. John hires Alexis as his attorney. Sam promises John that he will not lose his son and gives him a comforting hug as Jason arrives.

At the hospital, Liz prepares Patrick for his release. Patrick says that he must deal with his grief over Robin as Dr. Ewen has advised. Patrick encourages her to not let Jason harm her relationship with Ewen. She reminds him that Jason is a friend and will not interfere in her life. Ewen enters. Patrick tells Dr. Ewen that he has been pushing for him and Liz to give it another go. They discuss Patrick’s dismissal. Ewen sends Liz on an errand and asks Patrick if they were discussing Jason when Ewen entered the room. Patrick reassures him that Jason isn’t an issue. Ewen thanks Patrick for his vote of confidence as Patrick dresses and prepares to go home.

Todd eyes the front page regarding John’s arrest. Carly walks into his office and congratulates Todd for taking her advice to drop the charges against McBain. Todd says that Starr convinced him to drop the charges when she threatened to disown him. Carly says Todd has managed to piss off the police department who will now target him. He insists that he has nothing to illegal to hide. Carly tries to convince Todd to cut his losses and move on from Blair. Todd says he’s done a lot of bad things. Carly promises to help Todd find the perfect woman. She pulls out her phone and begins showing him photos of some of her high profile female friends. Todd and Carly compare their notes on profiles of women in the magazine. He describes a woman that Carly thinks is perfect. Todd says the woman he described is Carly. She reminds him that she is spoken for.

Maxie tends to Lulu at the hospital when she experiences a bout of nausea. Lulu says she probably shouldn’t have eaten a burrito for breakfast. Maxie smiles and says, "Maybe you’re pregnant." Lulu dismisses the possibility but admits that Olivia hallucinated that Lulu was nine months pregnant. Lulu confirms that she is late but that it’s probably due to stress. She asks Lulu, "You don’t want to be pregnant?" Lulu confirms that she and Dante want to have children. Maxie leaves and returns with a pregnancy test.

Ewen meets with Jerry Jax at Windermere who again chastises Ewen for his unethical involvement with Liz. Jerry calls Robin’s fake death a necessary evil to complete a transaction. Ewen refuses to harm another innocent person. Jerry hands him a picture of Carly - Ewen’s next assignment. Ewen asks, "What to do want me to do?" Ewen refuses to harm Carly and calls, him a psychopath. Jerry dismisses him and pulls out a picture of Alexis. Jerry begins coughing uncontrollably and says that he and Alexis will soon be together again. He calls Alexis using a phony accent telling her that there’s a problem at Windermere that requires her immediate attention. Alexis arrives at Windermere and is shocked to see Jerry.

Alexis asks, "Why are you here?" Jerry replies, "For you of course."
Liz tells John, "The kiss didn't mean anything." Jason asks, "Is that true?"
In jail, Joe Jr. says to Trey, "Sonny's going to wind up shoving his own precious daughter into your arms."
Sonny tells Kristina he's going to ask Kate to marry him.
Kate asks, "Am I still a danger to Sonny?"
