Tracy confronts Luke, Ann won’t give up, and Johnny has a surprise for Todd.
Keenan looks over Robin in her room at Ferncliff. She is unresponsive. He dismisses Nurse Fletcher and tells Robin she is going to a clinic in Switzerland and no one will be the wiser. Anna walks around outside the room. She will find Robin even if she has to tear this place apart. Nurse Fletcher comes out of Robin’s room and Anna tells her another patient, Heather, saw her daughter. The nurse tells her Heather was a handful and they can’t trust a word that she says. Keenan hears Anna yelling, and Robin does too. She drops the brochure for Switzerland on the floor while Keenan calls someone and frantically asks what to do. The nurse leads Anna to the end of the hallway to begin searching rooms. When she gets to Robin’s room, she is gone and the nurse tells her Robin was never there.
Liz is surprised to see Patrick at the hospital. He tells her he has a drug problem and Keenan is going to help him detox. Ewen understands what he is going through. He is a good guy and Liz agrees. Patrick tells her Keenan cares about her and maybe she should give him another chance. He asked him if he thought Jason was an issue and he told him he did. He will never understand why she has a soft spot for Jason or why Robin did either. He does not want her to waste time pining for someone who is not there for her. Keenan is available. They hug as Anna comes up. They tell her they were talking about Robin. Liz tells her Luke is stable and awake and she goes off to see him. Liz calls Keenan as he is wheeling Robin out to tell him she is ready to give it another shot.
Tracy visits Luke in his hospital room. He knows he hurt her. He was going to tell her how much she means to him and how sorry he was to hurt her before he was kidnapped. He does not deserve her forgiveness but he is asking for it anyway. He married her twice under false pretenses. He needs her in his life and won’t give up on her, but he won’t give up Anna either. Tracy knows they will never be over and she can’t wait to see him crawl back to her. Even when he makes her miserable he is the best time she ever had. Same here, he says. She leaves and Anna arrives. She tells him she went to Ferncliff but Robin as not there. She found a brochure for a facility in Switzerland and she is going. She has to know.
Carly runs into Jason at Metro Court. He is meeting his lawyer. He can’t use Alexis and Carly thinks it is because he is divorcing Sam. He isn’t, but Alexis is her mother. He tells her he kissed Elizabeth - and Sam knows. It was a mistake, but before that he saw her kissing John McBain. She thinks they can work it out but they both know love is not always enough.
Sam looks around for Todd before going into his office. Spinelli comes in and reminds her they were looking after Heather, not Todd. Something about Todd doesn’t make sense and she is going to figure it out. He urges her to move on. She thinks whatever Heather is holding over him has to do with her. She will not give up. He thinks she did just that with her marriage. He pleads Jason’s case He is good man who would have loved the baby in time. She wishes she could make it all go away, but she can’t. She walks over to the safe and asks him to help her crack it. He refuses and leaves to check on Olivia. She begins to work on the safe.
Todd visits Johnny at his office, and he thinks Todd is the one who put the camera in. Todd was right about him all along. Carly is a sharp woman. Why would she dumb herself down to be with a bastard like him? He went to erase the footage for Carly – until he heard Johnny admit to killing his granddaughter. Getting a mentally ill woman to take the fall for him is inspired. He wants Starr to be grateful and not suspect him for the kind of man who would kill her boyfriend and daughter. Todd tackles and chokes Johnny until he punches Todd in the gut. Johnny would give anything to get that night back. Todd tells him it has really been hard on Starr. Is it a fair trade, her family for a record contract? He starts to call Carly, but Johnny informs him if he tells Carly, he will tell Sam what he did to her baby.
