Dante and Anna question Archibald, Steve wants a break from Olivia, and The Haunted Star opens.
In his hotel room, Todd gets a call from Steve making sure Heather is working tonight. Todd assures him Heather is on assignment. Todd runs into Blair in the hallway and offers to take her in his car. She does not want to risk an argument but he thinks they owe it to Starr to make an effort. He is looking forward to talking and she agrees - after the show.
Outside the club Johnny and Lulu greet guests. Kristina and Trey inform Lulu about the reality show and she thinks it might be good publicity. Carly arrives and Johnny gives her a kiss before they go in. Maxie and Patrick show up and assure Lulu they are going to have fun. She wants to wait for Dante.
Dante goes to the station to talk with Anna about the forger Olivia saw leaving Heather’s. Anna remembers the letters from Luke. Dante wants to find Archibald and question him. Anna agrees, considering Lulu got a letter too. Dante does not know about Lulu’s letter. They bring in Archibald and show him a picture of Heather. He says he has never seen her in his life. If he cooperates they won’t press charges. He agrees. Heather had hired him before to forge a letter from a lady doctor to a guy named Steve about a case in Memphis. Dante pulls Anna outside and grabs the file on Maggie. He explains how Steve was cleared after the note was written. They realize Heather killed Maggie. Anna is worried about Luke.
Inside the club Johnny hands Carly her martini, then leaves to do sound check. Carly tells Lulu that Luke would be so happy for her. Patrick walks by and Lulu asks Maxie how things are. Maxie is glad he is here – usually he just sits on the couch after Emma is asleep. But no sign of the pills. Patrick looks over at them and walks off. He takes a pill with his drink, then the cameraman is in his face. He gets upset and demands to see the tape, then stomps off. Maxie and Lulu are concerned. Starr preps for her performance backstage. Michael gives her a flower and assures her she will be great. Blair and Todd give her a hug before Johnny pulls her away – she is on in 10 minutes. Todd talks to Carly and wants to make sure nothing botches up their plans. Carly assures him he is having a dinner for two delivered to his suite and Blair is going to be thrilled. He wants her socks knocked off. Johnny buys Blair another dink at the bar. She is glad he got her out of her contract but thinks it was more than just business – she thinks Starr is healing in large part because of him. He will always have friend in her. Todd agrees and shakes Johnny’s hand. Lulu takes the stage and raises a toast to starting over. Johnny takes the stage and says it is all about new beginnings. He thanks Carly for believing in him - she was right. Todd rolls his eyes. Michael sits in the front row as Starr sings. Todd and Blair hold each other, Lulu keeps looking for Dante and Patrick looks nervous and sweaty. Afterwards, Starr and Michael kiss. Todd is upset but Blair can see they are happy and Carly thinks is it great. Todd agrees if Starr is happy he is happy. Starr and Michael leave to get food. Lulu checks her phone and has no messages from Dante. Todd and Blair leave to go have their talk. Patrick tells Maxie he is leaving and takes another pill outside the club. Later, Patrick sees Robin.
Olivia visits Steve at the hospital and tells him she spoke with Spinelli again. He is mad, but Olivia wants him to wrap his mind around other possibilities and maybe Dante can help. Now he is really mad and tells Olivia they need a break. She can’t believe it – she is trying to protect him. He tells her it is not working and has nothing else to say. Later, Olivia walks in on Heather dressed as a maid in Anna’s hotel room.
Heather goes to the shack and ungags Luke. He is a little crabby from being tied up. She knows he does not love her now, but assures him he will. She pulls out a vial of acid - you can get anything down at the docks. There is no drug on the planet that will make him love her. She explains the LSD is for Anna, not him. Luke wants take the acid right now so he can make love to her all night long. They can have their own magical mystery tour, a hard day’s night. She is tempted but captivity has not been kind to him. He is a little ripe. He really wants her to give it to him – he is all hers. She can’t do that to him. She gags him and will make sure Anna gets it.
