Blair checks into the Metro Court alone, Anna and Lulu get letters, and Olivia gets crucial information.
At home, Dante wakes up from a nightmare about Lulu and Johnny making out. Lulu has already left, but comes back with tons of roses she thinks are from Dante. They are from Johnny, her partner in crime. She shows Dante the dress she bought for the opening and they have a spat about money. He takes a shower and Lulu finds a letter she thinks is from Luke. He tells her he has left. Forever isn’t for people like him and her. She apologizes to Dante about the money and wants him to be there tonight.
Carly is reluctant to leave Johnny at the casino. She gives him $10 for the first drink, a martini waiting for her on the bar. He is going to frame it and she is glad. She wants to be a permanent part of this place. He tells her none if it would be possible without her and assures her nothing will mess up their night. She tells him he does not know Todd, but she took care of it. All she had to do was keep Blair out of the hotel. Easy as pie. Todd calls her, livid. Olivia booked Blair a room and she needs to fix it. They had a deal, so she should tell little Johnny to get ready. He is coming for him. She rushes off to see Todd. Later, Dante arrives and tells Johnny not to send flowers to his wife. When Lulu arrives, Johnny tells her Dante wants her all to himself.
Heather calls Todd at the hotel. She wants to cover the party at The Haunted Star. She can’t wait to meet Blair! He refuses. As he is getting his paper Blair arrives - Olivia got her a room. He calls Heather and tells her to go to the party and be on Johnny like cheap cologne on rice. Blair comes back and tells him there have been a lot of changes since he left town. She wants to talk later, just the two of them. He wonders what Tomas will think and she tells him Tomas is not coming. Carly arrives and hits it off with Blair before Blair leaves. Carly begs Todd not to take the mix-up out on Johnny. Todd is no longer concerned with Johnny. He thinks he has a chance with Blair and needs Carly’s help knocking her socks off. She agrees. She is glad to see him have a shot with the woman he loves.
Heather visits Luke at the shack and takes off his gag. The cops were on to her. She tells him no one was looking for him – they just thought she killed Anthony. Now commissioner Slim is way off her scent. She feeds him a BLT and reads him the letter she wrote Lulu, how he left and is not built for the long haul, like her. She wonders how long before Lulu takes his advice and drops Dante the way he dropped Anna. She kept Anna’s letter brief and brutal. It was the only way he could have time to consider their relationship. He doesn’t love her yet, but he will soon. She has already tried the carrot. Now she is going to try the stick.
Spinelli tries to leave Kelly’s before Maxie sees him, but she catches him. She made her feelings clear and he wants her to respect that when he is around her, he is caught in a loop of pain. She wonders if they will be friends again and asks him to the club opening. He refuses and meets with Olivia at another table. She needs him to put the pressure on Heather. She saw a creepy guy and got a picture of his license plate. It is Archibald Bowles – a master forger. Maxie calls Patrick in front of Spinelli and asks him to the opening. He agrees as long as there is no talk of recent events. She promises him he won’t regret it. Outside Kelly’s, Olivia runs into Dante and tells him Heather is in cahoots with a forger.
Emma and Patrick visit Anna at the hotel. She gives Emma some jewelry to play with. Patrick tells her they are doing good and that Maxie is living there, helping with Emma. Anna wants to help him in any way. He is trying to move on. They leave and there is a letter at the door for Anna. It is from who she thinks is Luke. Anna cries as he tells her they were good roommates, but nothing more. Lulu shows up with her letter and Anna thinks maybe they were asking too much of Luke. Lulu was worried about him because she ran into Heather Webber at the club. She was acting strange. Anna asks to keep Lulu’s letter. Spinelli comes over and he tells her about the forger. Does Anna have any idea why Heather would need one?
