    Hospitality Isn’t My Thing.

    Monday, June 18 2012
Luke and Anna sleep together, Todd expands his media empire, and Sam’s loved ones gather for the baby’s funeral.

Carly knocks on Todd’s door at the Metro Court and he makes sure his abs look good before she enters. She stops for a second, then hands him his free paper. Of course, since he is on the cover, he has already seen it. She asks him to put a shirt on, but he thinks it is fine since she is in a committed relationship. He has just been going over his holdings, which now includes Crimson. He bought the parent company and changed the name to Manning Enterprises – ME. She is impressed and shocked that he is making such a serious commitment in Port Charles. He wants to stay around Starr. He wonders what Carly thinks of the paper and she shows Todd the article about Sam’s baby. She comments how sad it is and he agrees. She explains how Sam had such a hard time getting pregnant. He looks torn and tells her no one should ever have to lose a child. She leaves and Todd remembers the night of the baby switch. He gets his coat and leaves quickly.

At Kelly’s, Olivia is on the phone with Spinelli, asking about his progress in tracking Heather’s whereabouts the night of the storm. Elsewhere, Heather and Steve talk about the new newspaper and she is excited to see what Manning digs up. They walk up to Olivia as she is thanking Spinelli for helping her with the nut job. Heather insists to know who it is so they can help. She assures Heather she has everything under control. Heather is looking for a job. She thinks about Luke and tells them she wants want everyone else has - and will have it. Steve thinks she should just focus on a job. He looks at Olivia and asks if there is an opening at Metro Court, but Heather doesn’t think hospitality is her thing. She would rather be a reporter. They are doubtful, but Heather is not worried about Todd. She can be very persuasive.

Spinelli walks along the road where Heather was the night of the storm when a cop walks up. Spinelli explains he is a PI and shows him the picture of Heather. He recognizes her, and mentions her husband as well. When Spinelli asks for a description, the cop tells him he was older, skinny, had white hair and was drunk as a skunk. The cop asks what she has done and Spinelli tells him it is a mystery, but he will solve it. Spinelli sees Olivia later and tells her he found out more about Heather – and her husband.

At the Quartermaine estate Tracy leaves Jason to go visit Luke. Michael shows up and wonders why Jason is not at the funeral, but he did not know about it. Michael tells Jason he has to go to the funeral. He will never know if Sam will forgive him if he doesn’t try. Michael was the first baby Jason ever held and he remembers how tiny he was. Now look at him. Sam will never get the time he has had with Michael with her own son. That is what he took from her. Michael encourages him to go to the funeral and leaves.

Sam, her sisters and Alexis are at the funeral for the baby. Sam starts to cry and apologizes for not being stronger. She never got to see her daughter or hold her. But with her son, he was so warm and beautiful. She misses him so much she can’t even breathe. She can’t stop thinking about that night, but Alexis hopes she can think of how he was when she held him, not when he died. Spinelli, Michael and Carly all arrive and hug Sam. Todd watches from afar and Carly is surprised to see him before he walks off. Everyone leaves, but Sam stays. She looks over the news article and cries, alone, until Jason shows up.

Anna wakes up in bed and looks up at Luke. They slept together and she thinks they should talk about it. He wonders if she thinks it was a mistake. She asks him the same and wonders if he wants Tracy back . He dodges the question and leaves to shower. Tracy walks in. She wonders why Anna in her bed and she tells her they switched rooms and Luke is gone. Tracy is glad Luke is gone. She tells Anna that Luke wants her but is afraid to commit. Luke overhears before Tracy lets herself out. Luke walks in and Anna doesn’t think they should sleep together again. Back home, Tracy gets a room ready for Luke.

Back at Metro Court, Carly tells Todd they could have carpooled. She thinks his heart is bigger than she thought before walking away. He goes inside and Heather shows up. She thinks the story about the baby swap would be great front page news.

    Anna is SMOKIN'!

And Todd is smoking something if he thinks he can get away with stealing a baby for his ex-wife. He was funny though, flexing for Carly and hiding behind his own picture. He's really looking for trouble buying Crimson. Now he's going to be the boss of the woman that he thinks killed his granddaughter? Awkward much?

Tracy vs. Anna and Oblivia vs. Heather were both entertaining, but I enjoyed the super snarky exchanges between Heather and Oblivia the most. They get THE LINE OF THE DAY when Heather dismissed the thought of working at the MetroCourt.

    Heather: “Hospitality isn't my thing.”

    Oblivia: “No kidding.”

LMAO! Dr. StevenLarsSteve is pretty oblivious himself for not noticing his mommy's not-so-subtle jabs at his girlfriend.

How about that? Spinelli doing some real, if not eccentric, detective work. He turned up a crucial piece of information without touching a computer or phoning some unseen, all-knowing friend. Now THAT'S old school. I'm impressed.

I was also impressed with Carly comforting Sam. It choked me up in a good way, but I'm furious that Sam has to endure this. And Carly will be furious too. First, when she finds out that Johnny has been lying about everything except for when he says he'd do anything to get her back. And then, after she turns to Todd for comfort, she will go ballistic when his despicable part in the baby switch comes out.

I forecast a change in the weather. Hurricane Carly is gaining strength and headed straight for Port Charles.

I think Trey is probably Connie's son but if Joe Jr raised him how did he find him and does he know he is Trey's father? I think John will help Sonny find Joe Jr. New unnamed character played by Richard Something (Martin from Passions? is probably Joe Jr.

Roger Howarth sure has changed alot as an actor since his early days on OLTL. He would NEVER take his shirt off and show himself like that. But I guess "Todd" changed alot in those 8 years he was held captive by mommie dearest.

LOL...Heather's secret husband is dead Anthony.

Come on..... this baby switch should be so easy to figure out. If they drag this on forever I'll scream.

Heathe cracks me up. She's nutty as a fruitcake and the only person who does't notice is Steven Lars. Oblivious much?

I really wish the nostril brigade would head back to Llanview. John is seeking vengeance although it looks like he's willing to lose his wife and son over it, but there is no logical reason on earth for the others to be staying. Please make them leave.

How did Tracy get into Luke's hotel room in the 1st place? Most hotel room doors lock automatically and one must have key to get in.

Ok...I speculated about a month or so ago that Todd would somehow acquire Crimson. So he bought the parent company, BUT Jax owns half of Crimson and Kate owns the other half.....How did he accomplish this without compensating Jax and Kate? We don't know where Jax is and Kate is in Shadybrook baring her soul to Dr. Keenan.

As Ricky Ricardo would say: "Lucy,...(WRITERS).....you have some 'splainin' to do!"

I've been watching Todd for YEARS! How come I didn't know he had those abs? YUM!

I love Carly and Todd together and that's something I never thought I'd say. The actress's eyes actually seem to twinkle when they're in a scene together. THAT's chemistry!

I hope Sam gets her baby back soon. Who's the best crier...her or Kate? Awesome actresses! Just awesome!!!

I'm loving Heather too. She's a great villainess. I hope they can solve the baby switch problem without all the poop piling up on Todd's plate. I HOPE he's smarter than Heather and can figure away to fix this without Jason murdering him.

    Love Anna and Luke.

Wow, I loved every story line today!

I'm sorry, but I'm truly beyond sick of Heather...StevenLars is just irritatingly stupid not to notice how demented his mother is. Also, maybe I have to see the show (which I will later) but Todd in the pic looks awfully skinny. What a sad "funeral" for the baby, no Monica, Edward, or Tracy...Can't wait for this storyline to be over with, just too sad.

Luke and Anna, please, stop the madness, okay? I just hate that! Luke and Tracy, and stop messing around.
Besides, can Anna sleep with a suspect in a murder investigation?

Carly, what happened to you? you used to be so suspicious. Why don't you think it is weird that Todd is at the funeral. Think about it honey, and then start digging.

Robin Matteson sure does play a crazy woman well. She creeps me out too. But she should be put on notice that ScarTodd has killed before. So blackmailing him isn't the way to go if one desires a long life. Just sayin'

What a waste of Steven Lars...please give him a real storyline.
