Fromthestart: Oh yes, for sure, Sonny being an arse is definitely a given, at one point, he was even 'he who shall not be named', but sadly, I had to promote to the role of horse's rear since he's such a prominent fixture on the show.
As to defending the women over the men, I think it was a topic of debate at one point on this board, that one of the former head writers hated women that is why they are always the ones losing their minds when a man drops them ala my girl Sam, Liz, Claudia etc., is the root of every single idiotic thing that happens on the show and always being rescued while the men get away with every single horrible thing and somehow ended up being the hero that you always see on the cover of historical romance novel. oy!

Just catching up on the kitty comments. I have to say that ours is an equal opportunity snuggler. His favorite "parent" is the one who pulls the catfood out of the cabinet and the one he can sucker into giving him treats. I have to say the SO is more of a pushover than I am in this area.

@ slades - Me? Nothing. I was just thinking that McBain has to be pretty thick. You want to take Sonny down. The whole city knows Sonny tampered with Jax' plane and caused it to crash. Hello, McFly? Al Capone didn't spend all those years in prison for being a mobster.

Uh-oh. Starr has stars in her eyes because Michael is playing REAL hard to get. She's been hypnotized by his indifference to her charms, and his contempt for her excuses. Naturally, she finds his “No More Mr. Nice Guy” act irresistible. To a spoiled little princess like Starr, that's like catnip to a talkative Siamese.

Glad to see Luke glad to see Lulu. Wait, what? Anyway, I liked my version of the rescue better (28 female inflicted bullet wounds), but I also wish that Luke could've participated in saving his little girl's life. Luke paid Lulu the highest compliment she could've asked for when he called her a Spencer. I guess that's because even when a Spencer gets themselves into dire straits, they all have a way of landing on their feet, like a cat falling off a refrigerator after a nap.

Now that Lulu has “solved the case” and adopted the title of H.E.R.C. (Hot Evidence Room Chick), she's going to be even MORE full of herself, like a fat Persian (cat). On top of everything else it looks like Lulu's got a girlfriend too! Let's all sing it in a teasing way!

Kate is SUCH a downer. Connie is a LOT more fun. Which brings us to THE LINE OF THE DAY.

It goes to Sonny, whose hands were visibly trembling like a newborn kitten while he was obviously struggling to get his tiny, reptilian brain wrapped around the implications of what Kate was telling him about her rare medical diagnosis and prognosis. This was his most eloquent response.

Sonny: “It was a HELLUVA spit...”

    Well, thanks for playing anyway.

I should qualify my answer a little...If the aircraft is on the ground it is handled by the FBI.......TWA800 a B747 that blew up in the air years back, for example. That investigation was taken over by the FBI(possible terrorist theory)....The NTSB handles all fatal accidents and any Air Carrier accidents....any non-fatal general aviation accidents are USUALLY handled by the FAA as designated by the NTSB.

I'm sorry, but I want to throw more fuel on the fire. Hasn't Liz been just wonderful recently? Caring for Ewen, helping Olivia, defending Sam and helping Anna cope with the loss of a child. Liz really shines, as of late.
