Olivia shows up and talks with Sonny about getting Johnny to back off Steve, as Sam tries to talk to Jason about their situation. Jason stops her because he can't do this now. He knows life has to go on, but he doesn't know how. Alexis approaches gushing about their baby and how Molly is already designing their nursery. Jason silently walks away. Alexis implores Sam to tell her what is wrong. Meanwhile, Dante admits to Michael he can't place Eddie at the scene of the attacks and there are no more suspects. However, he vows to catch the right guy. They move on to discussing Sonny and Michael points out his brother is a lot softer towards their father. Dante says that may be, but he won't turn a blind eye to whatever he does next. Dante then asks what Michael's relationship is with Starr. Michael answers that he just wants to help her. Dante gets a call from Ronnie, who tells him Steve was fingered in an investigation. Olivia overhears and panics. They leave for the station. Jason sits with Michael to make sure he's okay about Sonny's verdict. Michael knows Sonny is innocent. Michael brings up the father/child bond Jason will soon have. Sam hopes so. Alexis heads over to Jason, who apologizes for walking away earlier. She urges him not to shut Sam out because it will just lead her to confide in strangers like John McBain.

Johnny wonders why Connie is at his place. She tells him he needs to redecorate and if he wants to toss something around, she's right there. She riles him up about Sonny, who calls her phone after finding the destroyed cake. Connie answers and pretends Johnny is hurting her, before suddenly hanging up. Later, Sonny races into Johnny's place and finds "Kate" in bed with Johnny.

Ronnie approaches Lulu at the police station, as she digs for dirt on him. Luke calls to warn her away from Ronnie until she can talk to Dante. Ronnie gets called away, allowing Lulu to get back to work. Dante and Olivia show up. Lulu tries to talk to Dante, as Ronnie walks up to give Dante information on Steve selling organs on the black market. Olivia calls Steve, but Heather answers. She tells Olivia the Memphis police just showed up for Steve. Olivia freaks out and pleads with Dante to go to Steve's place with her. Dante asks Lulu to go to the Metro Court to fill Sonny in. Lulu leaves, as Ronnie follows.

After Luke hangs up with Lulu, Carly stops by his hotel room. They debate his bill, as well as the war they stirred up between Sonny and Johnny. They move on to talking about Carly's feelings for Johnny, which flabbergasts Luke. He thinks Carly is replacing Jax with Johnny, but Carly denies it. He declares that whether she believes him or not, he doesn’t want to see her hurt.
