Anna learns about Robin, Sam lies to Jason, and Dante and Sonny bond.
Dante brings Sonny to the hospital. Sonny tells his son to leave, but Dante knows Sonny will only go after Anthony if he does. Dante wants Sonny to let the doctors check him out and thanks him again for saving his life. He calls him Dad. Sonny wonders if he's been forgiven, because he just wants him to know he matters to him. Dante replies, "Message received." Dante assures his father they'll be on good terms as long as Sonny doesn't go after Anthony. Sonny won't be told to let the man who tried to kill Dante go.
Olivia rushes to Kate's side in the garage and snaps her out of her trance. Dante calls Olivia and tells her Sonny is being treated at the hospital. Kate rushes off when she hears, but Olivia won't let her drive and takes the keys.
Back at the hospital, Dante assures the doctor the cops know about Sonny's gunshot wound. After the doc leaves, Kate rushes in to see Sonny. When Sonny expresses his desire to go after Anthony, Kate says they're over if he does. Dante fills Olivia in on what happened at Johnny's off to the side. Olivia is relieved Johnny wasn't shot. Dante wonders why she cares considering she's with Steve now.
Maxie returns home to find a subdued Spinelli sitting on the floor. She asks if he's okay. He replies he fears he's about to lose a dear friend. Maxie assures him Robin will save Jason, but she has to get back to Matt who is passed out at the hotel. She thinks this is her last chance to make things work with Dr. Hunter.
Sam tells Jason in his hospital room about the gas explosion in the lab. Jason gets a pain in his head as he asks if Robin is okay. Sam says Robin got out just in time. Jason wants to see Robin, but Sam won't let him leave the room. He asks her to bring Robin to him. Sam says she'll what she can do and leaves. Sam fights back tears as she runs into Monica in the hallway. Sam tells Monica Jason doesn't know about Robin because if he did, it would kill him. Monica relays that Robin died before completing his protocol. Sam needs to think about what to tell Jason and asks Monica to stay with him.
Alexis lectures her daughter about needing to be monitored at the lake house, when Molly explains she wanted to be around cool kids instead of interacting with her mom on MyFace. Molly runs off to throw up and Alexis goes after her. Shawn enters as Mac tells Michael Sonny was shot. Michael leaves for the hospital, as Mac follows. As Shawn and Alexis lecture Molly, TJ pipes up explaining the party was his idea. Shawn instructs TJ to work off the damage he caused and drags him outside. TJ explains he just wanted to help Molly with the kids who torture her at school. Shawn doesn’t think that was the way to do it, but TJ retorts at least he did something. Unlike Shawn with Carly.
Through sobs near the hospital hub, Patrick tells Anna that Robin died in the explosion. Patrick explains that Robin went back into the lab to get Jason's protocol. He says, "She lost her life for that son of a bitch." Anna has to see Robin and hold her in her arms or else she won't believe she's really gone. Patrick relays that Robin was burned beyond recognition. Anna recoils at the thought. Patrick apologizes for not saving her. Anna encourages Patrick to be with Emma, while she calls Mac and Robert. After Anna walks away, Patrick looks at Jason's medicine, as Sam approaches. Meanwhile, Anna leaves word for Robert to get in touch, as Mac walks up and happily embraces her.
Carly warns Johnny at the penthouse about sending Sonny to kill Anthony, because despite his hate for his grandfather, she knows he loves him. He'll admit he loves Anthony as soon as Carly admits she still loves Sonny. Carly says they'll always have a connection because of the kids. Johnny calls that an excuse. He's suspicious of Carly's motives, assuming she's just protecting Sonny. Carly doesn't want Sonny. Johnny asks who she does want. He recalls the last time they were there and says if Michael hadn't come by, he wouldn't have stopped what they were doing. He wonders if he's just her pet project. She doesn't want to see him hurt. He wonders why. She hands him the phone to warn Anthony about Sonny. Shawn knocks on the door and sees Carly in her robe when Johnny opens it.
