Scrimmage- you might be right about the symbolism of the monkey. The monkey is definitely Francoesque. The possibility of it only being symbolic did cross my mind and if it was anyone other than Franco I wouldn’t have thought twice. I’m hoping we will hear if a body was found. I think maybe Jason had his body disposed of because he would be the obvious suspect.

    ****OFF TOPIC*****
Mama & bayou- good game so far…..I can see it going either way.

Hey everyone! As far as characters from OLTL coming over to GH, Todd ran "The Sun" - Llanview's tabloid newspaper, so maybe he can come over and take over the PC paper (thus getting rid of the slimy, former mayor who now appears to be the editor). They could also bring the Buchanan's in as a merger between Buchanan Enterprises and ELQ, thus requiring Tracy to work with Clint (there's a match I'd like to see) or some of his sons - Kevin, specifically would be a good choice). Or even a BE takeover of ELQ - that would be good drama. Blair has experience running nightclubs, which could revive the Port Charles nightlife. And John McBain is a competent cop (relative to the PCPD standards anyway) so he can fill the void left by Lucky (and that's certainly not being done by the eternally conflicted Dante).

Best of all, with so many new characters and storylines to blend in, TIIC would HAVE TO give Sonny a little less screen time and focus on all things non-mob (since, beyond Carlo Hesser, there was no major mob presence on OLTL). Anything that would get Sonny (and NuKate) off my screen has my vote!

Forgot to add, if they handle this crossover (I won't call it a merger yet) properly, I may just start watching GH again!

Hi Ring. It's good to see you posting. Hope all is going well. I have never watched OLTL, I now wish I had as you make it sound interesting.

Mama: Congratulations!!! Awesome game and the best team won today. I'm picking the NINERS to go ALL THE WAY!

    Hi everyone!

Poodles: Wow! You are amazing! I never realized that the monkey was actually working. That could mean that either the Phantom of the Opera is alive and well or Franco wound it up. Seriously I hope TPTB do not bring Franco back. They could save some dough and pay our beloved actors to stay on board rather than pay one high priced Hollywood actor for cameos here and there.

Not sure about the OLTL cast, but I would love to see them bring back some of the AMC characters. Can you imagine David as Chief of Staff at GH? Maybe he would give everyone some of his libidizone and bring back some of the love in the afternoon!

I also agree with the posters who have commented about ABC promoting all of their stupid talk shows during GH. Blech! I think they should leave GH on the air to appease us soap opera fans. Otherwise, they are going to lose alot of people as we jump over to CBS to watch the Young and the Restless. If they force one more talk show down my throat I am going to gag.

I remember the very old days (hope I am not dating myself too when there were soap operas and game shows. Now all the game shows are obsolete except for the Price is Right. Everything else is talk, talk, talk, and in the evening reality, reality, reality. I miss the old days where we could leave our real lives behind for at least 30 min to an hour and fantasize with our fave soap characters or play a game show. I remember actually enjoying staying home sick from school and in the later years, work, to watch my favorite shows. I hope the ABC big wigs, will have mercy on us GH fans and not take our show away.

mamajj - Congrats on the 49's win. The SO is a little worried now about the prospect of the ACME Packers facing Captain Comeback and his boys.

bayou - What a great game. After the Saints went for 2 successfully, I wandered into the kitchen to top the pizza thinking the game had gone to the Saints.

poodles - Wow, I just told the SO about the temp in Chicago. We're still hovering in the lower 40's but it's nice to have a fire going all day.

4my - Good luck to the Ravens tomorrow.

Scrimmage - Since you must already know about the return of Robert and Anna, I can only say that I'd rather watch them then bicker and cuddle than any other couple on the show. Who knows, maybe Anna can mentor Sam.

JMJasonLover- I agree. ABC/Disney needs to leave General Hospital alone. There are way too many talk and self-improvement shows. I find it hard to believe that there are that many people in need of self-improvement. My house is on a Disney ban. I have never been a big fan of their plastic junk, or their children movies that often have a mother, father or a beloved pet killed. I think there playing with fire should they eliminate all ABC soaps. I’m a late bloomer when it comes to watching GH (the only soap I watch) but I can honestly say it has made my transition to being a stay-at-home mom much easier.
