Bdagirl- Sonny did invite Kate to a Halloween dinner and she did stop by. Remember she was dressed as an 80’s rock star or something significant to way back then. I to have a hard time with the timeline, but it isn’t Halloween any longer. My guess- it’s November 1st. Too bad we didn’t get to see the hospital and if the evil clown is still lurking in the halls

    Hi all.

OK so I did some "research" & came up w/the following. Claudia was killed on 10/29, we have already celebrated Halloween which is the 31st & I found out Carly's b-day is 11/5. Now either the writers don't give a cr@p about dates or the editing is horriable. How can it be Halloween at Sonny's, Emma's b-day at the Drakes & Carly's b-day at Jake's? BAD WRITERS!!!!

Anyway onto the show....Sonny needs to cool it. Krissy is leaving just let her say good bye to Ethan. GEEZ He acts like they were going to get it on by the front door. I did like Krissy's send off.

CARLY CARLY CARLY!!!! OMG Kissing Johnny?? Does she want the man to die. But you have to give it to Laura Wright she gets to kiss the finest men. JEALOUS!!!!

I am so over Francnut. Is this what the writers think we want to see? Newsflash writers we want Francnut DEAD!!!!

This show was better then the last couple weeks. Except for the date mistakes.

Hello to all my poster friends.

OH Emma's b-day is 11/3. So I guess they just rolled a week into one day.

Bdagirl - I'm pretty sure today's show took place the next day, November 1st. Time marches on, slowly on GH but surely.

There’s been a lot of spooky stuff going on lately, even before Halloween, and now after. All this talk of graves, with AZ sending flowers and Lucky on a vision quest in an Irish chapel’s cemetery. Dead people are the subject of conversations, like Shaboom and Claudia (she’s still dead I promise), and Lisa still unaccounted for, so she could be dead too. Even if she’s alive, are we sure she’s not really dead anyway and just doesn’t know it? Jax is “dead” too. And Ethan is chasing ghosts and the flickering lights of unseen candles in the Dark Shadows of Wyndemere. I wasn’t expecting a turn for the Gothic or towards the supernatural on this show, but it’s okay with me. Anything to get away from the mob stories. I like the Zacharras; I just don't need another round of car bombs, drive-bys, blowing up warehouses, putting hits on each other, and all that other gangster crap. It's been done to death, so to speak.

Even Sonny was tolerable the last couple of days. As I’ve said many times in the past, the less we see of him in Godfather mode the better, and the more we see him as an exasperated father trying to deal with his children and their mothers, while hoping to have a romantic life for himself, the easier he is to take. Just think, he hasn’t threatened to kill anybody since before Halloween, except for the guy who roughed up Abby’s friend, and that was just as a favor to his son’s girlfriend, so it doesn’t really count. Well okay, it counts, but it’s progress.

Mamajj, the writers are getting sloppy and lazy. It seems like the viewers know more about the background of the characters than they do which is sad because like someone said you start getting revisionist history.

Mama- maybe it’s a different day in different areas of Port Charles. LOL. Seriously, I find it to be poor storytelling not to have the correct births and dates of major characters. Now Sam and Jason are going to have some tragedy to add to this awful and extremely full date.

    Hi Ran's.

OK so you tube says Robin goes in for emergency c-section on the 3rd but Emma is born on the 4th. So I guess it's the 4th in PC. Correction to my last post...looks like Claudia's b-day celebration was the 29th & they stretched out the whole kidnapping thing til the 4th cuz it says she died on the 4th. SO I guess they are just over looking Joss's b-day? So it's Nov. 4th in PC.

You forgot Dante Falconeri and Detective Hyde. Even after acting like he'd been left on the street and had no upbringing at all, he described Sonny as a loving father making dinner for the family. Of course right after that he turned back into Hyde and started to grill Michael again.

Does anyone remember Carly & Claudia being gone for a week? I thought that whole mess went down in one night?

Posted by poodles at Friday, November 04 2011 04:03 PM

Mama- It was a Rainey night. By morning Claudia was dead ( for the record, I don’t think she’s dead) Sonny and Jason were in cover-up mode. The past head writer never had any story go four days, with the exception of Franco.
