Lulu, if you had said yes to Dante, maybe you guys would have been off somewhere doing what rabbits do. Instead of him trying to find something else to do, in order to keep his mind off the fact that you don't want him.

Try taking some responsiblity for your own actions. Besides Dante is a grown ass man. He could have asked Ronnie or anybody else to go with him on this NON-assigned (voluntary) scouting job of his daddy's crime den

Unicorn- Congratulations to your son. The end of October usually starts to get pretty cold. The highs will probably be in the high 40’s or low 50’s. The good news is you probably won’t be in any blizzards, but by Florida standards it will be cold and windy. Hope you have a nice visit.

I had forgotten that Sam and Jason were in the show today as I find their scenes boring beyond belief. zzzzz

I enjoy Maxie and Spinelli, Dante, Olivia, Kate, Coleman, Johnny and Anthony Z, Alexis and her girls, and Diane but the rest do nothing for me.

I miss many of the old faces, some sadly no longer with us, and some dropped for no apparent reason. I would certainly like to see Tristan Rogers and Finola Hughes return, and Sean Donnelly.

I am getting so tired of LuLu. Everyday she gets more and more annoying! They really need to do something with her character and turning her into a drunk IS NOT the answer!

I think the person hiding in the shadows at Wyndemere is Nikolas’ son, Spencer. I think Nikolas thought he was with the nannies, and the nannies thought he was with his father when Nikolas moved out and took off on his “quest” to find himself. He just got left behind and has become a feral child, living off whatever he can scavenge on the island.

    That would be cool!

I like “Indiana” Ethan. He’s a perfect successor to Luke’s adventures since the rest of his children are basket cases.

I noticed something that I believe was a continuity error. The portrait of Laura moved. Right after Ethan found the glove, he placed it with Helena’s dagger on the coffee table in front of Laura’s picture which was facing the hearth where it was originally displayed. In the shot when Ethan emerged from the passageway back into the parlor, the portrait was back in front of the fireplace, but in the very next shot, when Ethan sat down, it was back next to the coffee table and the glove was missing. All very confusing.

Sonny’s Creed: “I gotta do what I gotta do.” So does everybody else, Sonny. Michael’s in and Abby’s out. I hope she warns Johnny, and if she does, that will be the end of her relationship with Michael. Good for her. At least Michael realizes his mistake in the way he reacted when Dante was shot. Abby was right; he just did what he was taught to do which includes protecting Sonny and not trusting the cops.

Another possible continuity error: How did Michael’s tie escape being covered with Dante’s blood? His shirt is covered in it right where his tie hangs, yet the tie itself looks spotless. Did he put it back on or something? Why? I don't think he's been wearing it before now.

WHOA!! Jason?? WTF was THAT? Maybe I’m reaching but I think he looked in the mirror and saw Jason Quartermaine staring back at him for just a second. Sam’s line about how happy she was to get “My Jason” back after the accident may have been a hint of the trouble to come. Let’s face it, nobody gets to stay as happy as they are for very long on this show. I had a feeling watching them today that it was too good to last and that disaster was lurking right around the corner. Naturally, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I thought that the way they depicted Jason’s “episode,” for lack of a better term, was very creative camera work that really had dramatic impact. I know a lot of posters didn’t like the scenes of Ethan watching Lucky staring at the pills under his couch, but I thought that was creative cinematography too. It made for some interesting camera angles from the pills’ point of view. They could’ve shown Lucky just staring at the pills on his pool table or in his hand, but that wouldn’t make as big of an impression as the way they chose to show Lucky’s dilemma in resisting his addiction. I like that they’re thinking outside of the box artistically and from a production standpoint.

    Speaking of “Art”…

I think the city must’ve removed the Boxcar as an eyesore after they got a load of the teenage Elizabeth’s “artwork” inside. Trust me, they did a public service.

How does Carly just walk through a police perimeter undetected without even trying? Can she somehow pass through solid objects or make herself invisible? This stuff started to wander into fantasy land about the time Shawn cobbled together a working bomb while on a potty break. Another real stretch is the so-called “safe room.” They aren’t meant to keep people in; they’re designed to keep intruders out. They wouldn’t be very safe if you could get trapped inside one so easily now would they?

What are they going to put on the sales brochure for a safe house like that – a picture of a family of desiccated skeletons? Our slogan: “Nobody ever got to THEM!”

You would think that there would be a great big EXIT button on the inside. Oh well. At least they didn’t force Shawn and Carly into close quarters by trapping them in an elevator. That’s been overused so many times the elevator industry tried to launch a protest, but it got stuck!

    AUUUUUGGGGHHHHH!!! LULU!

It’s really too bad Lucky gave up his gun.

@poodles...thanks so much for both the congratulations and the information!

@cynic...I know we're supposed to be wrapped up in the JaSam romance, and though I was a Liason fan I'm okay with them being together. Right now in these last two days it has seriously been like watching paint dry for me. I think about making dental appointments, sweeping my patio, shaving my legs. I just don't know why I'm so bored right now. Sam has always been a uphill battle for me but I've ALWAYS loved Jason no matter who he was with,.....except Carly. I'm hitting fast forward now. I'm perplexed.

    ***off topic***

Do you long time posters remember back a year or so ago when I came up with my own plan to cut the divorce rate? My idea was to issue marriage licenses with expiration dates, and if things didn’t work out after a specified amount of time, either party could simply chose to not renew and they’d be free. I argued that as the expiration date neared, many husbands and wives who wished to stay married would begin to court one another again, thus injecting a little romance back into the marriage as they attempted to remind each other and themselves why they got hitched in the first place. People who didn’t want to renew would probably end up in divorce court anyway, since half of all marriages do, so I thought my alternative to the norm would be a no-brainer and a win-win for all concerned.

As could be expected, I was char-broiled by many long married posters who were revolted at the idea of letting their spouse off the hook so easily, claiming it would destroy the institution of marriage itself, but a few others thought my approach was original, forward thinking, pragmatic, and pro-active. Well, judging from this recent news report, apparently somebody south of the border is thinking along the same lines as me.

MEXICO CITY (WLS) - Mexico City lawmakers are proposing legislation that would allow newlyweds to apply for temporary marriage licenses, instead of making the plunge into wedded life a lifetime commitment.

The change to civil code was proposed this week and would allow couples to decide the length of the commitment, with two years as the minimum. If couples are still enjoying wedded bliss when the contract ends, then they would be able to renew the license. And if they’re unhappy, the contract expires and they are both free without going through a divorce.

The legislation has proved to be controversial in Mexico, the country with the second largest Catholic population in world, after Brazil.

A vote is expected on the proposed legislation by the end of the year.

ABC News Radio contributed to this report.

Ah, yes! I admit it’s just a small first step, but as you all know, it’s a necessary part of my plan for eventual global domination. Today Mexico, tomorrow the WORLD!

    Time for an evil laugh!

    BWAH–HA–HA!!

@Scrimmage....so do you think that those of us who were lulled into thinking during Jason's surgery that he would awake as Jason Q may have jumped the gun thinking TPTB were just playing with us? Do you think that it's going to be a slow, gradual thing vs. the whole wake up completely different thing? I never thought of that but I'd enjoy watching how it all unfolds, along with this big Cassadine Horror/Mystery.

Why is John so afraid of Sonny? He backs up and asks in a shaky voice" are you going to throw me off the roof"? Isn't John like 18 or so years younger then Sonny and at least a few inches taller. You'd think John would be the stronger one.

Hope Abby does leave Michael. She can go back to the rejections she was getting at every job she applied for. Without Michael and his family connections, she's got nothing. She dated a teenager with a mob family, she should have been able to figure out what the future held. I like Michael and Sonny.I hope he continues to work for his dad and think once Kate joins this group things will only get more interesting. Olivia is still sticking up for Sonny too.

Ethan is looking so great. This is a very Halloween type s/l.

What is up with Jason and what size sport coat must that man wear? His shoulders are seriously sexy as heii........
